Taco
At the end of the day the BOD cost me 31.5% of my holding yesterday.
The BOD !!
Who is the fooking amateur here ?
I'm not sure what more you're asking for other than a conveniently positive piece of information which does not exist.
I've been providing you my knowledge, which have now materialised, for a few years now but the power of cognitive dissonance of most investors here (especially the few arrogant pumpers) has overtaken rationality.
How about if you genuinely want me to take you seriously (which i highly doubt), why don't you and your underwater mates start by saying something along the lines of "oh shoot, Taco we should've listened to your warning over the years" or maybe "Sorry for being insulting when you aired the inconvenient truth about management and this company"
Just maybe... No??
TT, most of us on here are, I suspect, amateurs (i.e. not professionals in the investment management business) and it would be more helpful if , rather than being insulting, you gave us the benefit of your obviously greater knowledge and experience.
TF1, your reasoning, assumptions and questions sound amateurish at best and immature at worse (to say the least).
You need to understand that the Board is playing a whole different ballgame. unless you understand that game, you will not be able to realise what you've got yourself into...
And Q as you seem to be the BOD”s spokesperson I’d appreciate a response to below;
There isn’t an acquisition or disposal, a fundraise or debt repayment nor, or as far as the little shareholders know, no benefits or pay rises or gigantic options being gifted to the current BOD for their stunning work in the last 18 months in particular relation to SP and NAV.
So if none of the above has happened, why would it be a secret that the transfer to ASX was going to go ahead ? Why weren’t the little people told 2/3 months ago
“We the BOD feel that the following may be beneficial to NOT JUST MILLION+ holders here” but to ALL holders so here is our thoughts”.
Why would the BOD instigate a share crash ? Because when that happens, WHO POSSIBLY BENEFITS? Because as you say , no one is insider trading; so why crash the SP on purpose ?
You mean “Why would any large shareholder buy when the SP has been decimated by 31.5%” and you knew it was coming ??
I shudder to think Q, shudder to think.
I mean I wouldn’t suppose for one minute that when the transfer goes to ASX, there may be a fundraise, and wouldn’t it be amazing if the said fundraise was buy one and get two free ??
Only to the largest shareholders obviously…
Only IMHO and just saying Q
KB he cannot buy as the Directors are in a closed period pending release of audited results. Bigmj confirmed this point as well.
Fierce owes me an apology... but ego seems to be quite dominant... haha
Anyhow i forgive him!!
Illaquens-genuine question. If BMJ can buy now why can't MM? Are the rules stricter for Board members than for others once the news is out?
You're not the only one confused Fiercey. It's difficult to argue with anything Tacotaco is saying-Board initiatives have, without exception, failed to provide any shareholder benefit, so why should this one prove the exception? But whatever has happened to the Sp this week, the NAV remains more or less what it was last week, so the SP is a bargain -isn't it? Confidence in the Board is at rock bottom, and that is what has driven the SP down. How is the Board going to rectify that? What can the Board invest in on the ASX that they can't on AIM? I have no idea and unless the Circular has come out while I've been in the pub, I haven't got a clue as to what will be so different after March 31st. I think it's absolutely appalling that the circular wasn't available yesterday when the RNS was released. It's reaching the stage where I wouldn't trust this lot with organising a p*ss up in a brewery! I'll stay invested because I can't believe it'll get worse but I certainly won't be buying any more.
Good grief TF1. Why should he not buy when the news is now public. Bigmj would not buy when it has not been made public. What is your game. Seriously!
Now I’m confused Q
You said yesterday that large shareholders were canvased as a matter of course but wouldn’t buy as that constitutes “insider dealing”
Now you say you wouldn’t be surprised if BigMJ increased his holding ?? And he’s the largest independent shareholder in MTR ? How does that work then with the SP decimated yesterday and today ?
It's only a good investment if you actually believe what the management just told you about their intention of delisting. You've probably not been here long enough to see that pretty much every single plan that Metal Tiger has laid out since inception has gone kapoot!!
Every investor better ask himself, how come most companies kill themselves to list on as many exchanges as possible in order to improve access to liquidity and a wider array of investors, while MTR are delisting with no solid/credible plan in place? To be honest, i've no idea but it clearly isn't in favour of shareholders, otherwise we would've seen a degree of confidence in this stock and much higher SP.
Agreed EG. Would not surprise me if Bigmj does not increase his already substantial holding.
Essex, nice post.atb
I don't see what all the fuss is about by de-listing on AIM. I have bought ASX shares in Sandfire and Maca and done well through IG platform costs 10$ AUS to trade. surely if MTR was a good investment 1 month ago it is still now. If not can somebody explain to be as a new investor why it isn't please
Just before the main asset starts paying out, they do something that collapses the share price.
Id like to know if anyone is filling up with this while it's cheap.
If only we knew what is going on.
Every single Board member and management (starting with MM) must be replaced if there's any chance of going anywhere with this company.
BoD has been winning since 2015... remember who getting paid here, not the shareholders!!
Unfortunately they've been playing a whole different ballgame while shareholder have been fed hopes and aspirations.
the BOD cant win , if they dont buy at this level they are damned and if they do then they dropped the SP on purpose to get shares cheaply. AS you say, they are in a clsoed period fortunately so their hands are tied
Closed period for the board Keith
what message would MM buying more now send out-faith in the future of the company or more skulduggery afoot?
"someone will then take out the whole company for a nice premium at that time"
Probably. But having shafted holders once, do you imagine they'll not get shafted again?
If you pull a stunt like this once, you've got an endgame in mind, and I'll wager the Bod and large holders will grab any gains. There are ways, and they're easier in a less liquid market. Having delisted once, what will stop them delisting on ASX and going private?
Happemed at JKX once they saw the money, tho at least they got screwed over themselves by VVP in the end.
TT, I tend to agree. Anyone trading this share now better know what they are doing.
PS: i will accept apologies from Illaquens, Thefierce and Pinman (wherever that pinhead conveniently disappeared) for the nasty attacks on me over the years.
haha
