Ripley 10% up from this mornings low. Something a brewing in the USA ?
Should be interesting to understand the wider sentiment from this call
Might of took more when it dipped to 2.5p for a short time at 8.15am this morning .
Maybe due to big USA fall back yesterday across the board .
SHAREINTHIS , I will if it drops a bit , maybe a better buy now then that gamble last week I took, on the old news Wednesday .
I had assumed the company would do an ADR switch facility ( not sure if I read that )
Midatech Pharma PLC, up 37% at 2.88 pence, 12-month range 2.1p-20p. The biotechnology company provides an update on its agreement to acquire Bioasis Technologies Inc for CAD7.4 million, around GBP4.4 million, which will be satisfied by the issue of 75.9 million shares. Bioasis is a multi-asset rare and orphan disease biopharmaceutical company. The deal was first announced last week. Midatech also plans an equity fundraising of USD10 million. The firm on Monday says that, having conferred with shareholders, it is now no longer seeking cancellation of its AIM listing.
max19
it does seem the case. that's the risk.
I like you have a small holding here. A couple of hundred quid now could see it double this week. or might bomb back down again after profits are taken.insider knowledge I guess
I just read up quickly and it appears it intends to issue new shares to raise 10m which in my personal opinion dilutes the company significantly at the these low prices.
Latino, thought the RNS said that Shareholders had asked for it to remain on Aim ?
Ripley,thaks for that.
Are you topping up again today, seems to have frozen at this level for awhile now
How does it intend to fund the acquisition for Bioasis.
Just tuning into this company which is why I’m asking and I know nothing about it’s financial state. Would like someone with knowledge to update me please
7am RNS ...reversal on delisting!
This news sent it up 30% this mourning ( spread showing as 20% at 10am )
Still below my top up on Wednesday 14th at 3.25p
The low on the Friday 16th was 2.1p ( 38% less )
Now I’ve just noticed IN RNS, on holder who has sold last week. Poor guy must be desperately sad, but I guess has a chance to average down here.. The Board is aware that one party which has provided a Letter of Intent has reduced its shareholding in the Company, impacting the number of shares subject to Letters of Intent. The Board will provide an update on shareholder intentions so far as it is able in the Circular to be posted in January 2023.
Back to 6p right?
Don’t beat yourself up, how could you have known of this reversal on delisting!
Still over 50% down from last Monday… which was itself around 80% down from previous years so can’t get too excited. Wish I’d have averaged down at 2.1p
I have a small holding here which is currently deep underwater obviously..... :)
HOWEVER, today news tempt me to substantially averaged down without throwing too much good money after bad.....risky it is, but current MC is just ridiculous, and if,(BIG IF......) they finally get something right then the potential for a few baggers from this silly price is too good to be missed IMHO
GLA.
Unbelievable news for buyers today though
A bit of a kick in the nuts for the share holders who jumped ship at a massive loss to be told just a few days later they've now changes track.
Maybe I misread this?:
"The Company has garnered views from certain of its shareholders with regard to the proposed cancellation to trading on AIM ("AIM Cancellation") and is pleased that support for the Company's AIM listing remains strong. As a result, the Company no longer intends to include a resolution seeking shareholder consent to the AIM Cancellation"
Thoughts anyone? Really hope they keep the AIM listing.
This RNS suggests otherwise!
Phew. Didn't want the hassle and wasn't even sure my broker would have enabled me to do what was needed to maintain my holding. With this new acquisition and keeping the AIM listing, hope is rekindled!
Very much underwater here but will see how things pan out and have the option of averaging down at this disgracefully low SP.
GLAH!
There is nothing to say that hasn't been said in the latest RNS...
FFS this is dire. Not a word from Stamp since the RNS either. Pathetic management
might need to pump the sp to get folk onboard - perhaps Janssen will provide an endorsement
looks at least 15% holding off
"As of the date hereof, we have been notified by a shareholder purporting to represent shareholders holding over 15% of our outstanding shares that they may not support and approve the transactions contemplated by the Arrangement Agreement."

One might hope so, but having owned BTI (BIOAF) for over 7 years: we have seen a few changes of management and were always told the new ones will get deal done; xB3 had to be reformulated because the original version was too expensive to manufacture; various agreements with well-known companies have been announced, but just petered-out with no actual official explanation and very little in the way of actual results.
The lack of any explanation as to what has happened to all these prospective deals has been particularly frustrating, and now it is difficult to believe xB3 really does work as expected.
Or there is the new conspiracy theory that this is all a ruse to take xB3 private (the new financiers will have over 50% so can do it without our approval), ie it does work.
