You should not be charitable when it is Scott that is turning the knife on people who have to play this hand out as the loss at this price is not worth taking. How can he be so cruel and mean to others. What goes around scott !
lawson thats a very charitable and understanding post from you re scott.you may well be right and on reflection i think i shall stop responding to him even obliquely.we never really know what posters circumstances are and what motivates them to post and its all too easy to be cruel or dismissive from the safety of our anonymous keyboards.hope that doesn't sound sanctimonious.gla
just in case anyone feels i am making light of what is probably for many on here a very worrying and difficult situation let me hasten to say that is not my intention.as a LTH with an average of about 38p and what is/was for me a very substantial holding i am fully aware of the financial repercussions of Valentines day and i hope that all those who have remained invested(as i have) have their perseverance rewarded.for me its all about approval and as each day passes i grow more relieved that we are getting closer to the situation where the endless speculation will be replaced by hard facts.let us hope the facts are those we want to hear
Your post needs no apology. I think that Scott has had one hell of a haircut, somewhere else re branded himself and is taking out his bitterness by posting his incessant bile here. He may not have taken into account that we are all here because we have and continue to do our research into Motif and are believers in our investment. I do however feel a little sorry for him.
apologies to everyone for the last post.simply couldn't restrain myself!
scott what method do you use for predicting the future?crystal ball, cards ,tea leaves or watching the movement of birds?my own preferred method involves counting the number of negative posts and subtracting the positive posts on a share over a predetermined time period.the resulting plus or minus figure is then multiplied by the number of broadly neutral posts in the same period (i have to confess to an element of subjectivity in judging neutrality).a negative score of more than -100 indicates its a buy wheres a positive score of more than 100 indicates sell or avoid.i can send you more details if you like
Blocked and hope you take your medicine as you sound as though you need it.
Flippers must be nearly finished flipping. You will know when the brakes come off.
"Up to $2.8B
market
opportunity
(at ~$3,000 per course)"
So scott if approved you can see £300mil mcap may well be very cheap. Just need the approval and this will 10 bag imo.
26% of all abssi patients are renally impaired = 936,000 per annum. Cost of iclaprim treatment $3000 per patient.
Do some maths scott, maybe some home work too.

Vancomycin causes kidney injury scott. The market for iclaprim is renally impaired abssi patients who cannot be treated with vancomycin
"Overall incidence of vancomycin-associated acute kidney injury (VA-AKI) among patients with skin and skin structure infections was 9.2%"
Interesting argument though. Do you represent the vancomycin opposition, there must be some.
Scott, how will it not dent Vancomycin dominance if approved ? Please explain.
Why will the sp be 12p? Should be 30p - why?
Same reason the mcap was £130million during the NDA process awaiting a decision and was then considered way under valued)
With a chance of approval still very much alive an mcap of sub £30 million for such an anti biotic at such an advanced stage in its journey is pretty ludicrous. If this is to be approved and being conservative we should see £300mil mcap in short order.
If it fails then it will be worth very little, so 10 bags or wipe out.
Still waiting for any evidence this will definately fail from the poster claiming to be a concerned share holder.
Cant abide liars.
as mentioned by Ian in the previous post - "the CRL did not ask for any further trials (stated in conference call) "
Big buy just went through as well! should see 12p next week and further higher after May 3rd! GLA
well said ian.cannot take seriously anyone who claims to own more shares than someone else without any facts!
Newbie scott very similar posting style to petch and Drsandy. Both disapppeared but im sure still alive and posting here, i ownder under what new ID.
The M.O is always the same with these types, start with a semi positive post, then normally a comment about being a long term holder and reader on here and just decided to post, they then post numerous times a day, every day with repeated negatives.
No way he holds shares. Planted de-ramper rebadged ID
Thers plenty who dont want MOTIF bio to succeed with Iclaprim, selfish morons who dont see the bigger picture and the desperate need for new antibiotics to keep the human race going.
Quote SP250 .....Of course I hold shares. More than you
Jeez........given your negativity i/d say very poor investment choice on your part in that case.....
I/d concentrate on Sar's looming problems if i was you.................
Please change the record .
Just another day of who blinks first, with more day traders than investors. Looks like people who want in, are already in. Need someone to take on big buys to get the herd rolling, rawhide! probablly splutter along slowly crawling up if were lucky :D. Better than the scraping along the bottom any day.
Yawn...............day after day
Still waiting to hear if you hold any shares or just stiring trouble
I hear there are black clouds looming at Sar's by the way.............
Sp will break 9p today
exactly!
Minutes from the meeting 3rd May due one month later. Why on earth would you want the distraction of an AGM, which is mostly procedural, to get in the way?
AGM date makes perfect sense to me. Get it done and focus your resources on the response and 'what happens next'.
I'm still confident with my investment - it's just taking a hell of a lot longer then i'd hoped.
GL
From the other Forum, hope it works.

Replied after 7 days, went on to be approved.
There have been cases in the past where the FDA have come back before 30 days, which may catch some people out.
