If there were any guarantees we'd get 608p then the share price wouldn't be 565p

Appreciate your answer.I thought it was a done deal.I need to follow events a lot closer. Thanks
Buy £10m of shares today and make 5% by March 9th...quickest £500K you can make.
A spread betters dream
small investors have already sold so at this stage who is buying and will they give the chance to investors who sold at 4.50 or even £5?
its 608p
It is still just an offer and talks could fail; most people have already made a massive profit and want to lock it in/invest elsewhere instead of holding on and risking it for an extra few percent.
Why are people selling at 576p when shortly they will get 605p?
10 Million Shares bought this morning. So did NAS buy another 6 Million @ £6.05 ??????
Did anyone notice Google chart showing that share price hit 6.05. Why this happened?
I've sold my small holding of 925 shares today for just over £4k profit so I'm happy with that :)
Could have stayed in longer, and it probably will go up to 6.5, 7p and more, but at this point this will do nicely. Plus its a good time to invest in other projects.
Good luck to all the holders and hope you make loads!
Menzies Aviation welcomes robot recruit ahead of first air cargo technology showcase at Heathrow Airport
24/02/22
Menzies Aviation, the global aviation logistics specialist, is holding a technology showcase with tech powerhouses and next generation logistic start ups to find new solutions to enhance its cargo operations – from efficiency to sustainability.
Microsoft, Ricoh and Vodafone are among 14 suppliers set to pitch and demonstrate their systems to Menzies executives including Mervyn Walker, Chief Operating Officer and Mark Reid, Chief Information Officer. A full spectrum of solutions will be presented for different aspects of operations, from truck management and security scanning to employee wellbeing and training. Also presenting at the one-day event on the 1st March are Speed cargo, Descartes Systems Group, Forward Momentum, i6 Group, KCL, Meraki, On Assett Intelligence Inc, WePlan, HIK Vision and BotsAndUs.
The technology showcase, co-ordinated by Rory Fidler, Menzies’ Vice President – Cargo Technology, is the first initiative of its kind for Menzies as it looks to invest in innovative solutions to improve operational efficiencies, enhance workplaces for employees and support Menzies’ goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2033, its 200th anniversary.
Menzies cargo facility at Heathrow Airport serves as an innovation space, which aims to foster a creative environment for the development of new technology to be rolled out across its global network. There are already a number of new solutions being put in place, such as Menzies’ new robot Mimi. Developed by BotsAndUs, the autonomous robot tracks goods at every stage of the warehouse process, enhancing inventory management and slot utilisation.
The showcase forms part of Menzies’ overarching strategy for digitalising its operations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability. Demonstrating its commitment to developing its digital capabilities, Menzies has made a number of strategic hires, most recently Filip Nekvinda, Senior Vice President – Digital & Innovation.
Robert Fordree, Executive Vice President – World Cargo Services, Menzies Aviation said: “We are very excited to be hosting this showcase at our innovation space at Heathrow Airport, which will shine a spotlight on the latest cargo technologies. This initiative is designed to ensure Menzies remains at the forefront of the cargo industry. Digital capabilities are becoming increasingly critical for an industry with a need for speed as cargo volumes continue to rise. The showcase is the perfect opportunity to identify solutions that have the potential to transform our global network of cargo handling operations. We’re looking forward to the presentations and thank all of the participants for their involvement.”
Sold out this morning to reinvest else where good luck all
Yes and there stuck with 19% holding
So if war breaks out, this takes a bit of a beating temporarily, it’s then easy money with a ride back to 608p at sale time? Seems too good to be true. I guess the risk is the sale doesn’t go ahead, right?
Thanks
Yes or more if another bidder turns up
If you bought today will you still get the 6.08p if it goes ahead?
Thanks in advance
Great chatroom for the past 2 years, not much nonsense. I bought in first chunk couple of years ago at 102p. Sold the last chunk yesterday at 589p. Good luck everyone.
Yeah I'm out too. Aviation services mightn't look as good when Putin gets really stuck into Ukraine - who knows - NAS might reconsider. A bird in the hand and all that.
Best of luck all
That’s me sold.
Lovely chatting to you all since 2020!
What a great two years it’s been. I’ve walked away with £15,000 profit from Menzies. More than happy. Too many bargains elsewhere for me to continue to hold this now for 4%
All the best everyone! :)
Bought more of RR today at 112p so very pleased.
@ME12345,the fact we have stayed at 5.80 made me think the factors mentioned would not affect us here. Thanks for confirming….I’m going to sit on my hands too.
These factors won’t make a difference there would need to be something wrong with there accounting to stop them going ahead with the offer so I’m just sitting on my hands.
Do we think the SP will go back up to 6.08?All my other stocks have dropped this am.( Inflation in USA and situation in Ukraine).I can’t fathom if those 2 factors will affect what happens to Mnzs.
TIA

What does the latest rns mean ?
We are 4% from the 608p. It depend how much 4% means to you.
For me it is enough to hold and wait for full payout at 608p
