On the ride from 2p to 40p. Next stop £1
Looks like you will soon have your first derisk point of 25p. Must be about to head north again
This will do better than SOLG because the MCAP is much much lower and Talaxis will pay to build the mine.
We also have the rutile results about to land and I am hoping this will lead to another JV.
There are fewer rare earths mines than Gold mines.
We have engaged a hostile takeover agent to defend us as Biden and China look to buy the world's supply.
All in all this is still an absolute bargain.
Strong Buy
re 25p derisk...I think that those who had that 25p area marked for derisking will be reassessing the situation, the sp has 30p written all over it from here.... short term that is, that will be just the start of a bigger move....exciting times
If Talaxis pay for the mine - leaving MKA with 25% free carry... what market cap for MKA we looking at? (Excluding the recycling business) anyone good at the maths?
You mean the PURE CASH FLOW WITH NO DEBT!
Ah. Wait for their BFS to come out and the picture will be a lot clearer. It’s somewhere between a boat load and a @hit load.
British Mike
Watch the investors presentation about Sept 19. I recall Will saying the mine would cost around $200m so our share is worth $50m.
SuperRoty - So you saying our share is worth £36m going into production? I doubt it's that low or the market cap is already correctly valued right now.
We are significantly undervalued imo
DYOR
I know. I think you're giving mine contruction costs or something. I'm asking how much market cap value our 25% is worth once production starts excluding other assets such as rutile and recycling.
Not worked that one out.
Hi.
William Dawes reckons an implied value of our 25% of £100-150 Million. This was back in October 2019 and obviously things have moved on from then in terms of rare earth prices.
If you haven't seen it yet i would suggest you watch his interview with Cruz Investor (it's on YouTube. Just search Mkango - incubating rare earth projects) - well worth 40 minutes of your time if you're invested or thinking about it.
What I love about Mkango is what a lot of people hate. They don't say much. Until recently via twitter they have been utterly silent for months at a time. A lot of this is to do with the fact that they've had no need to bump the share price in order to raise funds. In terms of Songwe, everything is covered by Talaxis - wages, overheads, paper clips, the lot.
As Mr Dawes says in the interview, 'We don't want to be in a position where we have to go back to the market AT ALL.' (my caps).
I love this company, as I'm sure Super R does and many others.
It's going to be an exciting year leading up to feasability on Songwe alone.
In the meantime, bring on the Rutile and good luck to all of us
Thank you Stebal. Say £150m for 25%, then rutile JV cover costs on projects plus the recycling pilot scheme which could be scaled up once proven commercial... market cap of £300m / £1.50-£2/share (assuming minimal dilution) looks a good target moving into production?
British_Mike. Personally, I'll stick with 1-150M and reassess as various milestones are reached. In the current climate a higher target might be reasonable but there are still plenty of unknowns.
We'll have a much better idea once the FS is complete but it all looks good so far
Hi Sebol - Fair enough... best to be conservative about expectations. My reasoning was based on your 2019 pre-feasibility result. Since 2019 RE spot price has risen and likely to continue over the next 5 years. Once MKA are in production (3 years from now?) RE prices will be sky high. MKA's BFS will be more impressive than the PFS. In my opinion MKA RBW and PRE will either be bought out by a major miners or oil companies or some will merge to reduce hostile takeover should their CEO's want to go all the way.
