Seasoned Old Campaigners here. We don't say much but the fireworks are about to begin. You need to read and decipher the RNS's. EGM on July 26th followed by delisting two weeks later and issuance of new shares in Dalradian and Buchans. It's a bit complicated but fantastic deal for Minco shareholders. The reason we are quiet is because Mio shareholders won't sell and aren't tempted by the miserable bids at the moment.
Not much goes on here but would like to say hello. First post on here. All the have a good day!!!
Maybe I'm missing something in this RNS, but can someone explain why 0.02 Buchans shares per A scheme share is equivalent to 0.1 Buchans shares per A scheme share at the time of the takeover announcement? I guess it makes little difference as the Buchans value per share will be higher if fewer are issued, but it still seems an odd thing to change?
We're coming out of a long snooze and all our chaps have disappeared. Could be the Algarve or the Med or further afield. I hope they're not gone on ahead, it would be a shame if the heirs got all the benefits of the oldtimers wisdom.

Toosday is Noosday, well, it could be Wed or Thur or even Friday. The 28 days is nearly up so some bit of activity is due.
Hey Telliz0, here is my understanding of it: When the royalty purchase goes through, each minco share you own will be exchanged for 0.0243 dalradian shares and also 0.1 buchans shares (a new company, basically minco without the royalty being sold to dalradian). Your 1114321 MIO shares will get you 27,078 DALR shares. At the current prices, these will be worth £26,536 (and rising). Additionally you will have 111,432 Buchans shares, and the value of these could be anything, depending on how the market views the company once it gets listed, so that's where the excitement comes in :)
That's £27900
Silly question what will my 1114321 be worth after buy out at present worth 279000
Where are all our Guys gone? Off sunning themselves for the summer. Well, We're making money by the bucketful with Dalradian now C$ 1.67 (£1.01) in Toronto. Should be more developments in the next few days.

Thanks Jamie. How do you know for sure those rigs are contracted by Minco? Can you post some pictures?
thanks for the update jamie
Just a brief note from Nenthead. There are two Minco- Irish drilling rigs parked in the middle of Nenthead. Also a large Minco- Irish drilling wagon is parked in Alston (5 miles down the road) full of equipment and has been back and forth. Unsure wether they are commencing drilling here.
The paperwork must be nearly done at this stage, surely. I hope we get something out of them before summer hols (July and August) kick in. It's too early to be counting the days to the AGM --- again.
keya5000: Spoke to Danesh, court papers should be back very soon and they will then give notice for an EGM (28 days). Looks a done deal to me. Post delist they will look to relist in Canada and will work on this more after they have the court approval. Mentioned a tie up with Canadian Zinc or perhaps using the Xtierra listing have been discussed.
Next steps: 1. Rule 2.5 confirming the offer (probably in April) 2. Within 28 days of rule 2.5 all takeover documents shall be send to Minco shareholders (probably including the date of the shareholder meeting for the vote 3. Shareholder meeting (I expect mid to end of June) 4. Deal closed
Usually around 4-5 months.
I don't think there's a time scale for potential offers. If there is one, it's a long time. There are however time scales set once you make an offer. I think that's one of the main reasons it's not a firm offer currently (even though a lot of the details have been agreed). If they had made a firm offer, it would of been very difficult to sort everything out in the short time frame you are given. BTW offer notice on the main page of the website now.
So for just one of our assets we will receive a value in excess of our current market cap!! What's not to like?
