For any who missed this. My thoughts on what this could be worth. Cypher. I think there is more corporate activity here than what's first mentioned. I expect the Minco assets to go two ways not just one. The DALR deal is barring some disaster a done deal. I think the zinc assets will go on Xtierra and the Manganese gain its own listing. So in effect I reckon you will get 3 for one from the current Minco. For every Minco; 1.95p DALR 1 share in a new Manganese vehicle formed out of Woodstock. Mcap of this $25m. My guess worth 5-8p per share. 1 share in the new zinc silver play from Xtierra. Worth 4-6p. I also expect by 2018 the DALR shares will be worth well over 3p. This possibly sooner. So my target on a 6 months view point is a conservative 14p equivalent from all the assets they have. If metals continue to improve much much more. The insurance buying now for the medium term is the DALR shares.
http://palisade-research.com/manganese-the-third-electric-vehicle-metal-no-one-is-talking-about/ A Brief Manganese Primer Highlights • Manganese is a critical and irreplaceable element used in steel production; • The steel industry is poised to continue growing, providing a steady source of demand for manganese; • Significant additional upside will come from clean-energy applications; • Vertically-integrated companies will be primary drivers of the forward momentum in the manganese industry, which at this point is concentrated and in need of disruption. Lithium and cobalt have been on an absolute tear, riding the wave of Tesla and the broader electric revolution. There is another metal, however, used widely as a battery component that has received less notice from the markets. That metal is manganese (Mn), a chemical element that is normally found together with iron.
This is the main asset mind. MIO Electro Manganese Asset. The Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) indicates a pre-tax Net Present Value (“NPV”) of CDN$846 million at a 8% discount rate and a pre-tax Internal Rate of Return (“IRR”) of 17.97%, based on a 3,000 tonne per day (“tpd”) open pit mining, hydrometallurgical and electrowinning operation, with a pre-production capital expenditure of CDN$864 million and average annual payable production of approximately 80,000 tonnes of electrolytic manganese metal. The PEA was completed by Tetra Tech (“Tetra Tech”) and Thibault & Associates Inc. (“Thibault”) and is compliant with National Instrument 43-101 (“NI 43-101”) based on an updated NI 43-101 compliant mineral resources estimate prepared by Mercator http://palisade-research.com/manganese-the-third-electric-vehicle-metal-no-one-is-talking-about/ Geological Services (“Mercator”). The PEA’s base case indicates a long project life of 40 years with operating costs anticipated to be the lowest in the world averaging US$0.64/lb of electrolytic manganese metal (“EMM”) produced over the first 20 years and US$0.68/lb EMM over the life of project.
Wonder what price DALR will be when this news is published. They haven't let on the ships sailed via RNS yet. http://www.theolympian.com/news/business/article134379914.html
Thanks tell
I have a Halifax dealing account to and yes they will change over should this deal come off. I have been a long term holder here and quite a substantial amount to but I'm very up beat about this and I think this could definitely come off and soon if all goes well good luck everyone may the luck of the Irish be with us all
Does anyone know the procedure going forward, I have a Halifax online a/c for share dealing. Will they look after the transfer from one co to the other, or do I have to intervene. All assuming that the deal goes through.
Ah shucks Lads, it was nothing. You don't want to embarrass meself and Ardtole. P.S. Any chance of a Peerage.
I have also held Minco shares since 2012 and have resisted selling in the hope of profit one day. It looks as though the day is getting closer and I would like to add my appreciation to Ardtole and Confu for all their words and efforts of support over the last 4 years. +0 Fingers crossed that Monday brings further good news.
MIO have an advanced ElectroManganese asset with a $846NPV. Manganese is just starting to get some serious attention for battery production. It's being touted to be the 'forgotten' battery metal. This report is well worth a read. http://palisade-research.com/manganese-the-third-electric-vehicle-metal-no-one-is-talking-about/
I've been a long time holder of Minco. Since 2012 in fact when Mr.O'Gorman (Confu & Artole may remember him) was buying shares for fun after his dealings with Cove Energy. Bought in at 2.5p then and have pretty much been at a loss since - barr our short ride to the dizzy heights of near 5p in 2013. I had contemplated selling at a loss several times over the years but always thought Minco had potential - hopefully this deal is Minco finally realising that potential. Thanks for Artole and Confu for posting updates in this Chat when it was pretty much like a baron wasteland with the off bit of tumbleweed passing through. Your realistic thoughts and insight over the years have been much appreciated !! Here's to hopefully what will be an interesting and hopefully profitable 2017. I'l still be here for the Long Haul.
That's great news I bought my moo shares funny enough cost me 18000 nearly 2 year ago I got them 1.4 p so there doing nicely as well could be a good year if all he's right here
Well done Telliz, 1 Mio share = 0.0243. That's near enough 40 to 1. 1 mil divided by 40 = 25,000 Dalradian shares at 80 P a share equals 20 thousand pounds. I reckon that'll treble in the next 12 months. So' whats it to be ? A new Merc?
How many dalradiun shares will we get for each minco share I have over million minco shares
There won't be many tuppenny sales after today. Dalradian have issued an RNS about the exercise of warrants so they are doing their bit to speed things along. The big boys should be arriving from Monday. I hope some folks aren't tempted to take a quick profit. From what I'm hearing Minco's new arrangement should be worth over 10p by the year's end and our new Dalradian shares worth 2 to 3 quid apiece. We couldn't have hoped for better.
Burmese. This reminds me of MAFL when we found that at 5p. Another one we have watched and waited for. Wait for the herd to follow.
Folk waking up to the monster potential that's laid dormant here for four years. Board delivering. 5-7p on deal completion.
Is resource should be worth at least $100M in comparison to its peers.
Massive resource with exposure to gold ;-)) & manganese & Zinc all for 11M market cap. Graphite is right,th
Sometimes you get these price discrepancies either that or UK people a just a bit more thick than the yanks lol MIO needs to play catch up in the mean time presents an oppurtinty.
Looks like we may be having a bit of luck of the Irish here at last been a long haul for me but could soon be well worth the wait
Weapon exactly, that is why AmericanManganese TSXV:AMY is up 500% since mid 2016. The Canadians and Yanks are aware of it, sadly the UK always being behind the trend on junior metal plays seems not to have done so.
Just check out the AMY presentations to see the worth here. This should be 5-7p and it is still cheap at that level.
Think this will go nuts once the markets spots the link between manganese and li-batteries, let alone the the $800m+ NPV.
You almost get three for one here. 1---DALR shares worth 1.95p per current Minco. Value--$20m 2---Manganese asset that should be listed at $30-50m on its own. 3---Zinc and cash/investments worth $20m. All for current mcap of c $15m Is this the most over looked cheapest metals play on AIM?
