Sorry, I should have clarified - I meant mainly from a consumers perspective twitter is important. Especially for retail products. It's not the be-all-and-end-all of course but it does play a big part.
Just as an aside, although it's a totally different industry but relevant to your EUA example - I know KOD (A lithium & gold mining firm) has done particularly well which I believe has been helped by its active Twitter presence. It's attracted a lot of retail investors by just showing off how hard they are working, stuff that is normally left behind the scenes.
If they want to get ahead with the sales of their DNA testing products which are not going to be as easy as their PCR tests then they need to start building a brand, social media & high street presence today, in fact yesterday not tomorrow.
I agree with Atlantic. I understand they are busy with Covid tests but why can't they even sustain a twitter account. If I was looking into buying a healthcare test product and checked their twitter account and seen they hadn't tweeted since January I would start to question how reliable this company is, are they even still operating? It's simple things like this which working on now will benefit us in the future.
It's not going to be a good look if the next tweet is the day they launch their products with zero hype beforehand imo. As much as I believe in MHC I'm not ignorant to how consumers & more importantly, other investors will react to the actions this company is taking.
With respect. Marketing is the most important bit.Mhc have arrived in the right space at the right time.I am confident that Covid testing will be here for some time and generate substantial cash flow which in turn will help launch the new products.
However poor marketing will always hold you back, just as good marketing often over promotes poor companies.
I didn't think they have missed any deadlines since becoming MHC and are doing well with everything apart from marketing!!!

The. Companies Marketing is appalling and will continue to hold the sp back.we await the promised product launch which is another tale of woe.Today’s announcement on travel,

Should be very/bullish for their income streams.
Why should it if they can make better margins on their own website?
their pricing should be the same as boots on the website too https://myhealthchecked.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1vWK9NSF8gIVLQWiAx1jlQLVEAAYASAAEgKkCvD_BwE
Aim is a strange market don't know of many Aim companies that will produce millions in revenues, mind the bod need to up their game and get marketing to investors not a single interview since the raise.
The launch was supposed to be in July
No, not every 2 months. They have said they are concentrating on covid for now, that is where the immediate revenue is. Making hay. They are picking their moment to launch.
Atlantic57.
July 2021.
We are all waiting for an update.
There is two days left!!!
GLA
When is the expected date for new product launches I thought we were getting them every 2 months .
TPKart.
To be honest, I wonder what the size of other people's holdings are because I wonder whether other people believe as much as I do here.
I know we have to wait for a few months but there should be a MASSIVE re-rate here.
GLA
Lordpaul,
I know. I had seen you asking others as well so I was just playing around.
I also wish you the best with your investment.
LargeGin.
Very nice opening!
I hope we get a product update soon as scheduled.
Then you can spit it out everywhere in excitement of future revenue.
Yippee!
TPKart.
I know it's not a competition I was only wondering.
I do wish you and everyone all the best here.
Very good times ahead.
GLA
Good evening my lord,
It's not a competition :) You have a lot more than me this time, but I will let you know if I get anywhere near your number in the future.
TPKart.
How many shares do you have in total?
I am on 720,000.
Good times ahead for MHC shareholders.
Hold For Gold!

Yes it was me that pushed the share price up. It was going to negotiated trade when I tried to buy at 3.2, so I placed a few trades in smaller chunks, which pushed the ask up on my third trade. I then placed another trade later on and it pushed it up again. So on my small volume of trades (and a few other peoples as well) it pushed the price up 5%. I was disappointed not to get all my position at 3.2p, but just shows how this could shift on the next update.
I agree on the testing for the foreseeable future. You can't see any of the governments wanting to go forward blind on the testing front. It will be all about tracking and managing the variants and outbreaks for the next few years to try and avoid it happening again.
I can't believe I've managed to get back in at the price. I was one of the people who dumped 700k shares at around 3p back in June, in a moment of madness. I was down 15% and thought I was being safe, only to see it rise to 4.4p in the next week following the update on sales. It really was a true feeling of regret, even though I've been involved in investing for over 10 years.
I thought I'd missed my chance but today I got a price alert on my app and I've been building a position throughout the day. I've also been keeping an eye on the counter on the Boots website, and I remember a few months ago the site visitors were on average 20-30 whenever I looked. It's now on average 50-60 (and still always over 100+ purchased), which suggests they're possibly selling double the amount of tests than they were before lockdown. So if the price hit 4.4p on the update of £3m in sales, it will be interesting what price it will hit if they say £6m on the next?
Obviously this is me speculating, but the visitor counter sure is a nice way to make some kind of educated-ish guess. I also believe that there's still some legs left in the PCR tests for flights seeing what's happening with the delta variant around Europe and further. We may have a large percentage of people vaccinated in this country, but we are ahead. A lot of other countries have a lot of catching up to do.
On top of this there's all the other product updates/releases/sales to look forward to. Only now they've got extra cash from the covid tests to pay for extra staff/development/manufacturing/promotion/growth and everything else.
Can you tell I'm happy to be back in? I thought I'd missed this boat...
