Probably jumping the gun a little here, but any thoughts on when the dividend might be restored? I'm guessing it won't be until September at the earliest. Expect the price to fly once the rumours start!
its falling today. why?
Some nice institutional buying in last two days absorbing the cheaper stock , very encouraging .

Hi dark cloud,
Yea from what I can see this an obvious setback but the dark clouds will shift opening up the blue skies again and from what we can see in the very near future. Fundamentally like a solid business and giving all back to normal I would expect a target of 500.
Will keep my eye on this. Been in airline stocks since the drop which have made me serious gains with still more legs in them.
Hi, Deanmck7
Yes, seemingly low interest from the PI's, but as you say, a solid company that appears to be well run and good headroom on their debt facilities. With aviation showing glimpses of light for their recovery in 2021 and an increased UK defence budget recently announced, I can't see why this won't continue to steadily improve.
Just listened to Emirates' CEO announcing the are to restart their big push on the premium economy service in 2021 with new aircraft being delivered now (they're obviously seeing light at the end of the tunnel!).
To be honest though, I'm expecting a retrace from these lofty levels, before the next drive up! Target around 530.
Good luck!
Morning guys, pretty quiet over here. Looks like a solid company, just lack of conversation as it is progressing pretty well now?
Thought the RNS was generally positive and coincidentally aligned with the positive vaccine trial news. Although looks it might of pushed on a bit too far to hold, but we'll see.
I wonder if Sandbar got out of their short position they'd increased leading into the jump? hahahaha
With the 737 Max looking like it's going back into service any day, hopefully the recovery will build nicely from here.

I can't read the full article unfortunately.
Hey, I usually wouldn't day trade, have never, but would this be a good stock for it. It seems to be stuck in a narrow band. I wouldn't mind adding to my total, that would be the only reason I'd be trying it.
Sandbar Assett Management have continued to decrease their short position - went to 1.21% and now at 1.17.......should slowly start to help the SP
and Sandbar have started to reduce their short position too (now a 1.40% holding that's short, from 1.54%)
or maybe the US stimulus that's being talked about for the airlines directly? Pelosi was just talking about it earlier today on Bloomberg.....too valuable in the GDP numbers to let them all fail?
Is it maybe on the RI for Rolls Royce.
Anyone know why the climb?- I thought the worsening pandemic would have been putting downward pressure on the SP.
Nice climb in the last few days. News coming?
Some nice buying yesterday and already this morning, be nice to see this break from the horrible downward channel it's been in since July.........let's hope Sanbar have got their 'short' stance totally wrong!

John Menzies could be a great shout @Archy147!
I've literally just sold out of a few nice positions held from March and have cash sitting on the sidelines......off to do some research on MNZS!
Are they embedded in the airport infrastructure i.e. would it be hard for other providers to swoop in/takeover their market share....? Hmmmm, very interesting indeed
I'm currently in NEX @ 1.05 and not long added 50% to my position (averaging 1.15) - i feel this have unbelievable potential, but it may take a little longer to get to my target (3-3.50) than i'd originally anticipated. Well worth a look though
Also in the same boat!
I too too thought this a “safer” recovery bet than the airlines but sadly it doesn’t seem to have fared much better :(
You may want to take a look at MNZS, which I consider to be similar. Not an airline so unlikely to go bust, but heavily affected by the air industry. That one hasn’t recovered either and still has potential to 3 bag when the recovery eventually does come.
I was in the same boat as you when this was in the 300s. But, you're right. Management seem to be doing a very good job and I do reckon it's strong for the long term.
I must admit, i thought this would of been a nice 6-9 month recovery play on the aviation theme without the risk of choosing one of budget the individual airlines, especially with the defence side of the business as a source of downside protection.....kicking myself for not 'trading' this one now. Still feel it will do well long term though, as the management seem to be doing all the right things, just got to wait for a vaccine or retreat of the virus i suppose....IMO of course. Good luck!
with increasing short interest?
dyor, all
rely on none of us posters for sure
It would be great to know why as well ? This share seems to have stayed at 265-307 range and not moved down or up despite winning new contracts and executing 400 million pounds of cost savings.
Not seeing any news but aerospace is absolutely tanking. Anyone know why?
