The only thing that stops this dropping is the close. Back to the top of the 250 fallers. I’ve said before but we’re pretty good at that!! Sick
Well the last update was positive, only some exceptional cost impacted cash which in turn impacted debt % against profit and the price reduced to where we are now. All depends on your timeframe here - there is risk but same as most companies. I believe the company is doing better than it was a year ago therefore no interest in selling for now.
I too am carrying a loss. Possibly time to thin some of my holding as I just wonder what the update will bring? Clearly there are concerns.
Market cap is around double cash in the bank so defo undervalued. I assume people are sitting on the sidelines and my thoughts is this goes back to the AWS deal. I think people expected that to bring immediate benefit hence why the SP went to nearly 6 quid. It hasn't happened yet and i think thats why we got where we are. People say its because of debt, but then the debt position is better now in monetary terms than it was when the SP was nearly 6 quid
I've been watching my capital erode by 30% so far, and I do keep reading how it's so undervalued, top up at these levels etc etc.
If it really is so undervalued, and the turnaround is on track, the recent tie ups will start bearing fruit maybe next year, then why does it continue to slide, why is there no buying support, why aren't directors at the least making token purchases, doesn't really add up. Surely MMs aren't that blind to all the pros.
Perhaps you are correct Mark.
You’d like to think that the price it’s at now, a flat report wouldn’t harm where it sits now. We all know better though.
Although a CEO isn’t there to be flamboyant, charismatic etc... it would be a nice change if ours was a little more upbeat on prospects than usual.
If indeed there is prospects!
Strathy I would suggest Nuri is not that complex and that all his posts are total fabrication
Nuri,
I’m not one to call out people however, don’t understand why you persist in berating the company and other investors when you have stated on nunneries occasions you don’t have a current holding in the business. I can only presume it’s to start a rant on the board and get an argument started?
well instead of sitting on this junk stock which was down £35k - I sold out and saved myself another £5k. It's a really terrible company with massive debt. Cant even see anyone wanting to buy
Movement on this share hasn’t ever been an issue. Sadly, usually the wrong way. Was hoping yesterday was the rise into the anticipated update, nope again. The 5 year chart is a joy to behold. I have been “invested” here long enough to be sore when sitting down! As the continued drift into obscurity presides a good update may only get us back to current levels. Will need to put my trust in the board and hold for another year or 2 at least. At just under £500 a point these can be “paper” expensive days! ??
I hope so, could do with putting an end to what has been almost constant mystery for share shareholders for what seems an awfully long time.
you would certainly hope so AIMO
however, as most on this board will have gathered now, i have very little faith in Murdoch
he's done nothing but preside over a faltering share price, even pre-pandemic.
i don't see him as a safe pair of hands and if he doesn't deliver i'd like to see him gone.
Blubutton, you are right, MCRO does move quickly, even over the last year you can see 20-34% rises (quick look) several times in a matter of 2-5 days, if that happens running from today's sp up to or after the results that would put MCRO in the 450-500p range in short order. We know that MCRO has achieved close to 600p this past year and the company and its books should be in better shape now than since the beginning of the pandemic.
amen to that AIM
£700+ in the bank and similar in cash cash being thrown off each year, whilst debt is managed to mid 2024. Debt can be managed and assuming some debt is paid down, refinancing is not going to be an issue, whilst a possible sale of an asset might make a big dent in the debt. Plus debt reducing with inflation by 3-4% a year in real terms. No, I am not worried, however, I do want to see efforts to pay down the debt - I am much more interested in turnover, profit and cash generation, plus a re-rating of the sp.
Ha good answer.
The 4 billion debt is a worry but then how many firms operate with huge debt..
ive got 125k bet that it does.. does that answer your question?
Price prediction for March 2022?
Looking to Chuck £5k on this today. Is £7.50 a share achievable next year?
i'd like to see far more than that.
when it EVENTUALLY does turn to the upside, it moves quickly, however its bloody frustrating watching it meander at present.
suspect 2022 will be the time to see multiples of current price, my patience will be tested for another Year it would seem : )
Opulentia fancies 500 by Xmas!
Double bottom and trading update within a month now.
AWS looks to be incredible going forward and should provide the company with growth for decades ahead.
Fancy that 400 this month.
