Anyone want to comment on this move by NTOG?
Hi L1onheart, Why do you consider this move to be a disaster?
Disaster imho - Stephen snead has sold his shares at 0.06p per share to NTOG. I've sold out. GLA

Indeed Robsky! Just to clarify I am not predicting a placing, just saying that it's an easy point for doomsayers to latch onto and as they then always seem to do - ignore everything else, usually all the positive information. All the best
nvestors may be trying to decide if stocks will make new highs before the year is out, and whether or not the bull market will celebrate its 9th anniversary next year. The tricky part is prognosticating the short term picture. Investors may not be comfortable enough to go all in, but they may not want to get bearish given the solid economic backdrop. Will there be a big breakout given the strength of earnings and economic growth? Will investors just become numb to the headlines and decide to focus on the positive economic picture? It is always wise to remember that the market can have a correction at any time for any reason. If the political landscape gets even more dysfunctional, then it may be enough of a driver to spur a correction.
Robsky how about this message Dot Dot Dot Dash Dash Dash Dot Dot Dot we need a higher SP Who can read Morse Code smidsy can you raise the flag signal to say the bar is open? Got to get some interest back here somehow :)

Hi Guys yes but the BOD also passed motion to authorise purchase of shares in the market which I maintain would move the SP forward, not so much said about that. Given the 62 participations of de-risked and new wells we are now involved, some of which are fully carried we could have positive cash flow circa $5000 per day from CLR Sympson wells alone @100BOED added to existing 250 - 300 BOED. With BOD being paid and receiving 40ml bonus in shares they must be confident the SP will not lanquish at this level forever (or it is at least their intention to boost the SP at some point). Year end 2016 results due out in June when the reserves and production will be seen at higher POO values than last years $30 per barrel. IMHO DYOR 3.to authorise the Company to make on-market purchases of Ordinary Shares having an aggregate nominal value of up to £1,000,000 at prices not exceeding 105 per cent. of the average mid-market price of an Ordinary Share, for five Business Days prior to the day on which the Company agrees to purchase the Ordinary Shares.
Mr MM must of seen this down again then ;( https://darcnews.com/magnolia-petroleum-plc-magp-l-pushes-higher-13-00/109886/
NEW 5 year business plan needs to be issued now with realistic targets. So will we?? 1 Stay as we are and prove up reserves on our acreage 2 Sell out as a 100mil $ company 3 Acquisition time 4 Buy back placement shares to increase company values when cash is available 5 Are we being held back by our partners on the release of data to the market i.e. what's happening with the CLR wells how much longer will we have to wait for the results?

It's not difficult to understand why some think a placing is close - the board did just get permission to authorise more shares! Maybe they will maybe they won't but it's an easy win for the doomsayers to predict a placing.
Smidsy, Some people were mentioning it on this board last week. Personally I don't think its got anything behind it, just reiterating it and trying to figure out why we aren't seeing much volume and movement with all the potential upsides there are with this share currently.
Hi J, can you tell us where you saw the rumours of a placing. Thanks
Seems everyone's just waiting for something here... near 20% spread... Very few trades... Lots of different wells being invested in... Rumours .. of a placing ... rumours... hopefully something attracts some attention and we get some movement soon.
Currently holding 6m with a low average. Dave seems to have the ability to diversify and has a lot of his own money invested in the company. Consolidating the gold tenements into one gives a good asset to sell on. Cobalt and manganese are valuable to battery industry and that seems to be a big growth area for a number of years. Imho of course. Considered topping up Magp but think they are short of money to fund participations. Want to see where the last resolution they got passed leads. Don't have many aim stock anymore as everything is stacked against a pi as an investor. Have good FA at the moment so will transfer all over to him when I hit my targets....
Haha.....
Wow you'r in for a few then have limited mine to 600k atm, but tempted for more. all AIM share are losses but showing signs of moving higher including MAGP but when do you stop pouring money in just to lower averages ?
At the risk of upsetting buzz, I hope so. Picked up another 510k this am and they dropped the price. Sneaky so and so's. Surprised sp isn't higher but think asx listing will boost things. Is it possible to have a subsidiary with a higher mc than the parent company?
jr what about KRS lol are we on a winner ?
