‘Excellent profit and cash performance, ahead of expectations” Recurring revenue now at 74% (from 68%), no material impact from the ongoing Covid19 outbreak” ..can't get better than that

Better days on horizon? Shorters have reduced their positions.

LTG all set for a climb back to highs over coming months, techs & fundamentals all in place
FY19 profit and cash performance ahead of expectations, Adjusted EBIT of £41.0m 58% increase, Revenue £130m; 39% increase, gross cash as of the date of this announcement is £54m, not yet seen a material impact from the ongoing COVID-19
LTG seems to track every downward movement of the FTSE100, though never take the ride upward!
...as to why such a high quality company wouldn't be increasing in value this week is beyond me. General market surge, acquisition, very positive trading update confirming 39% increase in revenue for the year and still, the price falls back. Bizarre!

This is perhaps one of the most peculiar and irrational sell-off's I've ever witnessed! The worst week for the markets since the financial crisis, which is absolutely ludicrous considering circumstances.
now they're just being silly with the prices.....however this is where the money is made on the bounce back :-)
I think this will settle somewhere between 130-140p until full results published and should then pick up back to 150-160p range. I bought mine at around 115p, though am tempted to top up tomorrow morning should it take a drop.
nice recovery into close ...
;-)
...that nice upward trend has been halted by Coronavirus induced angst today- such a drastic sell-off is very much overblown in my opinion.
I imagine the heard will drive this over the cliff edge, only to retrieve it in a few week's time when final results are published. An excellent buying opportunity and we must thank short-sighted investors for it!
A reversal of the trend seems to be underway, certainly worth watching.
Though a correction of the SP certainly was due, the recent slide is overblown in my opinion. January's trading update was very positive and I expect the full year results due next month will be great.
LTG doing far too much right for me to sell this share.
Probably an error ? or has one been logged early.
Last time I checked hedge funds had interest in about 22 million shares, I wonder when they start to close their positions?
Thanks Major;, The rise is copybook stuff. You don't need to teach your granny how to suck eggs so I am not surprised investors are piling in today. MCAP is large but I can see LTG being driven up at least short -term as the growth is certainly good. I have been caught a few times by shares which soar but as a LTH I ended up making losses on them and so want to take some profits on the way up.
Good progress, good results.
My quick calculation shows EPS 6.5p which would be excellent. I wonder what hedgies will do next. Need to wait a few days before celebrating.
that this share is good.. Sold some at 139p recently in case the growth has slowed but it is a salutory lesson for me as it seems in a class of its own. More to come here methinks after examining the update.
but now we are moving upwards!
yes excellent results - but only a 2 - 3% increase so far. unfortunately.
