Check out Adyton Resources. Did 1,500% on essentially no news in the space of about six weeks.
If prices are that flexible without any change to prospects, why shouldn't this ten bag and then receive a sensible offer?
It's quite clear after the antics the other week that the share price is set by David Burton and colleagues dumping every time it goes up half a pence, which means that the market does not have a sensible mechanism for assessing what this is worth.
I think most people would be very happy if this was sold at 15p.
With Landores current economics even an idiot should be able to get it fully funded (& that's what we've had over many years as shareholders unfortunately , so maybe now they will be able to finally pull it off ).
Its IRR is probably way over 100% here at these prices AND has a project payback of LESS than a year now....All in a rock solid safe jurisdiction & massive exploration upside still in play...
To a sensible player these are eye wateringly strong project numbers that many would die for...
Took another look at the price sensitivity analysis.
$110 million goes on the NPV for every $180 on gold with just the existing project.
At $3,000 gold, NPV is over $1b.
I don't think $3,000 gold is at all unrealistic by the end of 2025.
If I was Glenn I'd be half inclined to do nothing for another 18 months if a decent option to fund work doesn't turn up.
After all these years I can not see him or LTH agreeing to a 'fire sale' of a $1b project with massive upside potential for the 10-15p ($20-$25m?) called for by some here. Bill may have wanted too much a year to 18 months ago, or maybe he just had the wisdom to see where things were heading.
A big investment would be a tad more than £4M at which price he could buy the company.LOL
The legendary American investor Warren Buffett said this month that his conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway was considering making a big investment in a Canadian company. Obviously not implying that it will be LND but there may be some reflected glory.
The junior mining space is so beaten up that there are a raft of opportunities for investors looking for exposure to the energy transition, and to rising prices for GOLD, silver and copper, delegates at the recent Energy Transition Metals Summit heard.
“If you’re an investor and just new to the space, there’s some ridiculous valuations out there of companies that have made significant discoveries that are needed in the energy transition,” said Terry Lynch, the CEO of Quebec-focused junior Power Nickel (TSXV: PNPN). He sat on a panel outlining both the challenges facing juniors and their potential upside.
“We’re not talking about greenfields,” he said. “We’re talking about serious, 43-101 resources that’ve got considerable upside,” he said, referring to the technical study designation. The projects have strong net present values and internal rates of return that normally should trade at five to 20 times higher than they are, the CEO said.
Lynch, the founder of Save Canadian Mining, which fights predatory short-selling practices affecting junior miners, also spoke about how different rules for some traders like hedge funds allow them to pound down junior valuations.
On the positive side, there are signs that what has been a very difficult fund-raising markets for juniors is starting to turn, according to John Feneck, founder of Feneck Consulting. Since March, gold and silver CEOs in the junior space report they’re having an easier time raising funds, he said.
“That turned the corner last year, with gold’s breakout right now and then silver’s follow through,” he told delegates. “Where it would take them maybe a month to raise three or four million, now they’re doing it in two or three days, which is really exciting to see.”
The Energy Transition Metals event was organized by The Northern Miner and Precious Metals Summit Conferences and took place April 29-30 in Washington, D.C.
A very interesting article and like I’ve said previously we have (3 ) Ni 43-101 resources in Canada, in a tier one Jurisdiction, all with considerable upside.
As it stands the metal prices are coming to us with Gold, Copper and Nickel all on the up. I would prefer a full sale if possible or wouldn’t mind a JV or earn in to the project by a recognised company. Things must be getting close and I’m expecting us to keep on rising steadily until news lands.
Glenn will be working on Canadian listing
Great news
Like a reunion - great to hear from you Michu and TG5- always enjoyed your posts - some real numpties around these days, can't get a sensible discussion going - I'm totally lost on LND and need to get my head around the current position - will give it a few hours reading. It does seem to be on the move TG5.
Get your toe dipped Kalan before it’s too late. This gotta be worth a punt at these levels.
PS - good to see you’re still around old friend!
If it can continue to rise to say 5p before any news - it will be great. Seems people starting to take interest.
Look at Kav M/C - ludicrous 23 million.
This is 4m and sitting on a resource.
10p is 12mil M/C
'Kalan' a name that rings a bell from the past ! Good luck with your bet here, if you do make that bet, Sir..
I had written this off but am - surprisingly to me - changing my mind on that around now... (POG heights have me hoping for a JV of some sort soonish, or an outright sale at a 'lowly' price even is fine by me.. eg 10p a share)
And I have done two top ups here in recent weeks.. and may even do one - or two- more in the not too distant future too..
Extremely high risk bet granted.... but amazing bang for buck in terms of averaging down from a too big a number for me.. down to 12p average now.. maybe sub 10p soon(ish)..
Hi TG5 - had a quick look at the technicals and down 97% over 8 years. Promissing recently - going to do detailed research over the weekend - as you say a small wager may pay off.
I've been closely watching Landore for some time and recently made a modest investment - I've noticed that even very small trades are moving the SP. Any hint of good news could cause the share price to take off.
This is an exciting time to be involved with Landore. It’s a gamble, but one I fully expect to come good
Bought in six weeks ago during which time the company has done nothing other than run down their bank balance? +50%
Bought in years ago and held as the company grew from nothing to a 1.5moz deposit? -95%?
Questions?
Which suits fine. I think the next time it breaks 3 - it will be the last time it sees the 2's.
Gold price close to year high.
Set up looking good just need some luck and GF to come good
The tiniest of volume moves it. Shares in sticky hands liquidity low.
Any serious volume and this will go ballistic
Storm have raised c$310,500 recently so they do have funds I wonder if they will pay us?
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / April 23, 2024 / Storm Exploration Inc. (TSXV:STRM) ("StormEx" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has today closed the Company's non-brokered private placement, previously announced on March 14, 2024 (the "Offering"). The closing is subject to final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Pursuant to the Offering, the Company has issued 6,210,000 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.05 per Unit, for aggregate gross proceeds of $310,500.
Thanks for your input guys. I am drastically underwater here but still holding.
Next Storm payment due next week now too. I'm assuming that they're likely to be missing that again? I can't see that they've managed to raise anything or have a share price to do so.
Glenn will have to send in the bailiffs at some point surely?
JB,
The issue here is the depressed share price, largely driven by the ill-fated Canadian listing by Claude (why he chose not to underwtite it??!)..this immediately took 60% off the share price as the market then priced in a further deeply discounted raise being needed for 2024 drilling....indeed you can trace the decline back further to the start of Claude's tenure when at every opportunity he talked about raising funds (thus depressing the sp by people forward selling in anticipation). So discounting these as artificially supressing down the price, a 'starting' sp would be closer to 10p
$3bln of resource is still there, it is still in a Tier 1 jurisdiction and it is still, effectively up for sale - Landore were never going to mine and go into production (another Claude error)
That results in the huge disconnect - one rns re a JV or similar significantly reduces it...that is where the 200-400%+ jump will come from.
Think it is rare, but does happen. £30/40 million takeovers hardly get any press do difficult to search. From memory Noront resources had a premium of ~225% in the end and that was a $500 million deal.
The other way to think about it is how many recent takeovers can you find that value gold at 20/25 $ per oz in the ground - very few if any i imagine. Most are 100$ +, so would be an excellent deal for any suitor.
But anyway who knows, i would take a low ball takeover at this stage. Just desperate to know what Glenn is working on.
I did have a quick google before I posted to see if I could turn up any examples of multibag takeover premiums. Might not have been searching the right thing of course but 100% was the biggest I found.
Wish I had as many but hoping there is no news until 28th and I'll have a 3rd of your holding 😂
SB - did you see my last reply? If not - might not have sent but thanks for insight - it's incredibly useful, telling and informative.
As for David Burton. Guy simply does not play straight. If Yiu ask me - the company and GF should immediately cut all contact with him. PR has nothing in common with manipulation
Dave Burton and his TMS = unscrupulous, untrustworthy and greed
Rayte I sort of guessed but had to comment for a laugh.
Just because this mechanism to return value to shareholders is a complete failure and doesn’t seem to work more often than not for many companies, not just LND doesn’t mean to say we have no or little value as the M cap suggests.
We have 3 Ni43 101 resources in Canada not just the bam gold but also the Nickel B4-7 and the VW in one of the top ten postcodes in the world. The PEA was calculated on only 833,000 oz of gold and returned very attractive numbers for any buyer based on gold at just $1800 an ounce, as I type gold is $2350 ish so obviously worth a lot more.
We have discovered just under 1.5 million ounces in total but the total resource at that time wasn’t put into the PEA so again worth much more than the PEA numbers show. With more drilling it will no doubt expand the resource if they choose to go down that route
but as far as anyone knows that could all be left to the new owners if of course we get a buyer.
In Answer to JB73 if you do some digging it is possible to get a premium of between 300-500% I have seen some in the past and I’m sure with a little research you will find them. At the moment we are around 2.7p but that could start to climb and before anyone knows we could be sat at a much higher SP before any RNS is put out.
I know Glenn is working hard behind the scenes after all he is heavily invested and aligned with us loyal shareholders so if he can get a deal done favourable for LND and himself I’m sure it will all bode well for all shareholders.
We have assets worth Billions and an insane m cap of around £4m there are some companies out there not mentioning any names that have an higher M cap and have no resource at all.
Looking forward to see what news we get when it lands let’s see how the market responds.
Have a good day all.
He was actually chatting/replying to me but it does look like he's having a one way conversation 😂. SB, JH etc we all chat on Advfn too. I also remember JH from the GKP days of 10p to the moon.
SB replied - thanks for input. Appreciated
