could the price drop be due to this comment
''" too early to predict whether delayed purchasing decisions and postponed elective surgeries will catch up in time to benefit LiDCO's performance in H2. Although some opportunities are under discussion, the Board does not currently expect that H2 will benefit from a further significant boost to sales as a result of the pandemic." ''
Perfectly proper statement for a Director. Lower 'expectations', then you might well exceed them. The drop is just the fastbuck guys taking their 10%. Still reckon this is going to get a bid shortly, but I am never right about that!
Agreed - the statement selling to Brazil etc is the eye opener ... once the market catches up this will go stratospheric.
...beginning to (rightly, in my view) creep back up?
Have never looked at this company before but trying to get a gist on how an RNS affects an SP.
This one seems to read really well but has not yet gone in the direction you would have thought it would.
Might have to buy some.
Dont know why it went down but I followed it all the way ... great rns revealing profits and growing contracts...
One of those that goes the next day? Seen it plenty of times before.
4P - it may need the next RNS , America rebuying for general ops and covid, Brazil approval translating into sales, there is no seller just a lack of market pick up - as you say at some not too distant point it will move (upwards) and then the bags will show.
The Saas part of their sales is great providing stable future incomes to grow the business, all as per the last RNS.
One that I am holding and not running away from, happy to have bought in on the back of the last RNS... imo has at least one bag in it , maybe a lot more depending upon the level of news.
Looks like we've had a seller reducing their exposure (according to the last RNS). Hopefully they're out of the way now and this can get moving forward.
Been here a while myself and in at an average of 7.8p but still having the occasional top-up as and when funds come free (last top-up last week).
Yes, the sale was only a small % of Eiffel's total holding, from 10.11% down to 9.74% so less than one million shares but that's still a lot for Lidco and price has actually held up well imho. I've been a holder since about 2002/2003, and waiting for the buy out :)
