what on Earth?! buys going in a 2.85...but looking at the book.. suddenly the live ask has jumped to 3.2p?! lol
Healthy pullback for the push to 4p+ which I believe will be achieved by the time the new company Columbus is launched in a weeks time. Gla
* sharp suit It's about time we had an edit facility.
Remember all the optimism at this time in 2015? Talk of 10p Xmas party etc.. Modern techniques would increase production? Jam tomorrow? But it never happened and the sp began to fall inexorably and at each stage of decline the rampers kept stating this is the floor and get ready for the ride north. Well the ride north was very much south and even though the sp was decimated and LTHs were diluted again and again, there were those same voices that proclaimed the future is bright. We hear the same rhetoric today. I remain to be convinced that the man in the sharp sit will do any better than his predecessor for LTHs. If he manages to pull off a coup (note the word coup) then let's see how this will manifest for holders. What is good for the company is not always good for holders.
RRR he flipped a coin looked at some dove entrails spoke with Jeremy Corbin and Diane Abbot and then came to the absolutely iron clad conclusion based on the facts - in other word he knows FA - another ramtastic nutter
7p by the 15th which month or decade is that ????????????????????????????????
upside now ??????????
Would be interested to know how you come up with a sp of 7p after the 15th?
Under 3p now, on the 15th over 7p, new man will want to impress, human nature
A few PI's are collecting their party bags today, not me I staying for a big slice of the cake :-)

Hmm up down up down on the bell I recon....
Bang on, water is high on the talk
tigger24 We are waiting to see if LK can produce a magic wand in terms of funding, opening up new possibilities for LGO. I wouldn't though underestimate what he might be able to do with the existing limited funding and the current operations. I like his talk of "proper petroleum engineering" and "bang for your buck". It suggests to me that he may in fact be singularily unimpressed with what NR has been up to and convinced that he can do significantly better. While I'm not buying into the rampathon, I await LK's first big RNS with interest and an open mind.
tigger - Neil spent money on CPR and logging - I think those who believe the oil is not there are also members of The Flat Earth Society - the problem is encouraging it to the surface and that is the stage now being addressed.
"Deloitte has estimated oil in place within the field to be up to 975m barrels of oil with gross proved, probable and possible reserves of 25.6m barrels (mmbbls)."
Tigger..I would like to class my self into the Vlth bracket with you too, unlike you I'm fortunate to be in profit this morning and that's not wing smart but honest, now put our profit/loss behind us and take a look. You understand how NR ran the business, ever gave his 100% and never gave us a clear strategy for growth and certainly couldn't keep the leaks under control (was he part of this) who knows. His spin on words was unreal somtines and actually embarrassing to look back. That said he ""kept the ship afloat"" albeit at our expense. Now skip to LK..it's pretty simple as to why we are going to achieve, look at his background and more importantly his connections and even more important his trust within the O&G sector. Who knows what he has planned, but like I've said before he certainly wasn't forced to take his position and if he sees huge potential then so do I. The two men are chalk n cheese..one talks Shiite and one delivers. Non of us know what he has seen in LGO..one things for sure he's done his homework with his highly experienced team and likes what he sees and will not fail. I've worked in O&G in North Sea for years, was offered a position on NC for TAQA and know about this guy. Good luck tigger your one of the good guys TT12
Greetings I havent been around for a while but just looked in. I have literally just watched the LK interview (with a cynical eye) and he just paraded the same old phrases that Neil did...recompletions ,cleaning up and worst of all optimisation of pumping. Now i dont mean this as a critisism of neil but if the oil aint there and under pressure it aint there. Yes i there is some oil there in trinidad but getting it out is proving to be impossible.Just remember ,apparently, the first well of the Goudron campaign came on at 270 bopd (yes i have been around that long) and we also had one well measured at 6000bopd ( though how long that measure took was never mentioned). So i have no doubt that LK is a superb oil man but if the oil aint there it aint there, as Neil has proved.
The shallow high grade oil that was allegedly fully funded and simply waiting to pour though the new sparkling LACT meter down the dedicated pipe line was nothing more than a pipe dream. Ritsons salary was never late and when necessary was bolstered with dilution, dilution and more dilution until even he had to hide in shame. What can the latest crony do? Dilution might be his only option.
Tigs my boy you r obviously very unware of the sell off yesterday, I'll give you a clue look at the market as a whole yesterday, you seem to b very unware of what LK said about the 15th, DYOR mate
tigger - Neil was encouraged to vacate. Why not wait and see whilst enjoying the ride the new man is generating - then go and ask him at the AGM if he hasn't revealed it by then.
NR's hand was forced in the matter He didn't resign off his own accord !!
please explain why there would be a pre election sell off if good news was just around the corner? because i cannot think of any reason why any result of the election would have any relevance to the SP given the massive news that is due on apparently what is it the 15th?
I'm a VLTH here badly burnt !!! But where do you newbies think the turnaround is going to come from? This company was supposed promising to be producing over 2000 bopd just 2 years ago. Now its claiming 500 bopd is a good result. Do you really think that Neil Ritson would have resigned if good news was just around the corner.
