The reincarnation of BMR and that was pile of crap as well
vanadium news
https://investingnews.com/vanadium-forecast/
if you can get rid of the advert.
mebo
the mining sectors also very cyclical, hence why pension funds and the like, wont go there, unless its the selective FTSE type one.
when peeps jummped ito the 2011 highs of jlp/bmr....
that was the beginning of a near 10 year downternd.
maybe 7,if you count that blip up,in 2017.
so you have to get yyour timing right, especially,in the mining sector
oil cycles tend to be shorter, say 5 years
Last year I picked up in my Taxi at Heathrow a chap who works in mining & we got talking,,,,, I told him about BMR & my 10k down to £165 he knew people in jubilee & Bmr & said he wouldn’t trust them but that also goes for a lot in the mining industry.
Someone mentioned BMR….. and just realised….Just sold this when it came back as ken at a huge £75k loss (to finally realise the loss). This was my biggest loss ever when started trading and tough me a very valuable lesson (which i obviously still do)
And what do i do… buy back in at 1.24 because of the volume and graph. Much smaller amount this time around as a small punt. Cannot believe what i just did.
Still freaking curse the name Borrelli and that freaking thief which name cannot be spoken off.
OK. Whilst I did top up after they relisted, I can't bring meself to top up again until something concrete happen. Like Bozzer hit by a train lol
mining chap anylitical viewpoint
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgOEGKDVvsg
uncensored and hard core.lol.
and u must be over 50 to watch,so that counts us in.
i had the same as you 3card,originally.....so it was only worth a couple of hundred quid, the last time i looked ,a week or two back.
so it doesnt take much,to get that average down.
anyway, topped up at 1.24 ,so probably back negative, after todays dip
onwards and upwards.lol.
Down again. Sheesh! A greater newsflow required.
How did you manage that Troaj?
You must've done a massive averaging down at some point.
Yes, I may as well keep hold and see how it goes. Good that you’ve turned into credit here though. Might as well see how the news pans out on the projects now.
Nite.
me too eric.
before today,like you and 4card
i was 99% down....so in the same boat as u chaps
now ime about 10% up.....but i know, come middle of the year, that'll be a lot higher.
nitezzzzzz
With all the dilution while I was in BMR, and the resultant shares held now, having sold none, my average price per share held here, what it says in my account, is £15.48.
So, a fair way to go yet before I break even. Pmsl.
Troaj, after today’s rise here in KEN I’m now only 99.91% down on it. Just checked my trading account.
Sweet!
Hulk fart. Lol.
I could probably only afford one or two psn shares. Lol.
I don’t have the funds Troaj, but would be willing to sell some BEM if I saw something worth a go. Bit scary though. I’ll have to stick to the penny stocks too, to give me a chance. Not too much outlay and can get a fair number of shares. Then sell in tranches perhaps.
Anyway, thanks for the info and I’ll look at the pru share as it’s interesting to see.
Cheers matey.
or the prudential
horrendous 2 year downtrend since china lockedowns
bottomed out,a couple of months back....when china, stopped it.
another trend reversal stock.
maybe this is more your cuppa eric,i know your mainly an investor
when central banks started raising interest rates, builder got hammered
like psn....barrat etc(for peeps,sick of aims pains)
psn dropped from 3000p down to about 1000p....it bottomed out this year
since interest rates, starting showing signs of peaking.
as you can see on this chart....press on the 2/5 year
https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChart.asp?sharechart=PSN&share=Persimmon
when banks start droppping rates,in the middle of the year
the builders should reverse that downtrend.,if not before, the markets always work ahead of the curve
does a divvi aswell.
nitezzzzzzzz hulky.lol.
Great post Troaj. Thanks for your help. I’m the thick one though mate, not you. I’ve been a bloody rubbish investor so far, lol. I should have been a short-term investor only, like you. All I’ve done really is hold the same shares for far too long and become old and skint. Lol.
I’ll keep looking around now though, maybe take a few small risks. Not taking any risks has certainly been the wrong approach. On AIM especially I would say.
Will take a look at the link.
Cheers.
when it comes to fund raises/accounts/fancy rights issue, type of stuff
i ask your advice
ime an ex steelworker,so thick as pig dung.lol.
dont know the timelines over eric,i usually go for short term,2/6 months
so exploration work,suites me.
or just buying on the oversold charty millarky
anyway,a 3 mill mcap on a comp,with all these minerals,is cheap
and early stage comps, always do very well....if you can dodge the placing
here ya go,this link,is spot on....buy on speculation, near the bottom,
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/visualizing-the-life-cycle-of-a-mineral-discovery/
and after the jorc/resourse data......you always sell, before that middle stage sets in a downtrend
It’s been a pretty decent rise here anyway. A good start before any news. Happy for those with lower averages.
BEM is cheap, yes, so much so that I’m a full 10p off the sp now from break even, so it’s giving me sleepless nights. Was just wondering if you see the offer as decent. I have no money to buy any, but wish you well if you are taking a punt on the offer shares. If you remember, last time, the sp didn’t drop to the offer price, but that was a Rights Issue, not a retail offer, so don’t know if that will make a difference.
Not happy with BEM at the mo, as you know. Hence why I’m looking around at other shares. More interesting. KEN a pleasant surprise, so that’s something good.
Cheers Troaj.
eric
the sp's probably re rated on here and will be just running in a sideways range
until work programmes, start appearing thro rns's
bem...dirt cheap eric
Great to be up here 12% today though, on no news. Be great if good news could be timed by the CEOs to coincide with the chart rises. Wow! Asking too much. Lol.
The point is, not sure when KEN will stop rising. That’s also a charty thing I suppose. Lol.
What do you feel about BEM at 2.06p? Too risky for a quick turnaround for you?
I see.
Pmsl. Just clicked on the link.
