I bet nobody over on the CGNR board even noticed the CGNR exploration permit from TUKES last Friday. Makes interesting reading when translated into English. Guess who made the application on CGNRs behalf? Thats right "Geopool". And Geopool just changed their name a few days ago I believe. I believe some staff have moved from Geopool to Rio Tinto Exploration Finland also. Eventually CGNR shareholders will realise the significance of Finland for CGNR and will figure out what is going on at KDR too.

Karelian Diamond Resources plc (“Karelian”) (AIM: KDR, ESM: KDRI), is pleased to announce that
it has entered into an agreement with A & G Mining Oy (“AGM”) to acquire the diamond Mining
Permit over the Lahtojoki diamond project in Finland.
The purchase price is €150,000, comprising an initial purchase price of €50,000 plus a further
€100,000 after twenty four (24) months unless Karelian decides not to develop the project. A royalty
to AGM of 1% is payable either in diamonds or cash on diamond production up to 2.5 million carats
and 2% payable on diamond production above 2.5 million carats
Now major international mining companies are completed the project and A&G Mining Oy will have its share of Finnish diamonds available.

For the time being, Diamond Square uses coloured gems, grenades, diopsids and expressions resulting from experimental and experimental entrations in its jewellery. You don't need artificial certificates for those crystals. They're real. Another thing diamond square has pioneered is jewellery stories. For more than two decades, the jewelry made by the company has been accompanied by stories that are real. They are related to true nature, real individuals and their true feelings. In its own way, this operating model is also a guarantee certificate for the buyer of the Diamond Square jewellery and its claimant. All Diamond Square jewellery is made in its own jewellery workshop, from its own materials, so there is no room for any kind of sheath in the chain.
Diamond Square is the registered auxiliary business name of A&G Mining Oy. In order to ensure a high ethical level and authenticity of jewellery production, A&G Mining Oy acquired the diamond takeover of Kaavin Lahtojoki in order to refine it into the only working diamond mine in the EU. Its implementation is close as a result of the arrangements made by the company. Now major international mining companies are completed the project and A&G Mining Oy will have its share of Finnish diamonds available. Those diamonds don't shine the children's tears.

What did prof say
We some excellent Finnish mining guys well use to mining in a recent interview very last words
Diamondiferous Group A eclogites constitute a minor portion of the mantle-derived xenoliths in the eastern Finland kimberlites. They have been derived from the depth interval 150–230 km where they are inferred to occur as thin layers or small pods within coarse-grained garnet peridotites. The chemical and isotopic composition of minerals suggest that they represent (Proterozoic?) mantle-derived melts or cumulates rather than subducted oceanic lithosphere. During magma ascent and emplacement of the kimberlites, the eclogite xenoliths were mechanically and chemically rounded judging from the types of surface markings. In addition, those octahedral crystal faces of diamonds that were partially exposed from the rounded eclogite xenolith became covered by trigons and overlain by microlamination due to their reaction with the kimberlite magma. The diamonds bear evidence of pervasive plastic deformation which is not, however, evident in the eclogite host. This suggests that annealing at ambient lithospheric temperatures has effectively recrystallised the silicates while the diamond has retained its lattice imperfections and thus still has the potential to yield information about ancient mantle deformation. One of our samples is estimated to contain approximately 90,000 ct/ton diamond implying that some diamonds occur within very high-grade pods or thin seams in the lithospheric mantle. To our knowledge, this is one of the most diamondiferous samples described.
According to the Geological Survey of Finland (Marja Lehtonen and Kari a. Kinnunena, 2017) mantle rock pebble, xenolith, was discovered in the kimberlite in Lahtojoki that had a spectacular concentration of diamonds – approximately one per cent of the total volume! In carats, this would amount to 90,000 carats per tonne. This diamond-rich sample of eclogite was made of bright orange-red garnet, two different pyrox- ene minerals, and several serpentine minerals. Most of the diamonds previously found at Lahtojoki are colourless, brownish, or yellowy. Rare green, pink, and nearly black diamonds are also present.
The diamonds in Canada are laser engraved with the Polar Bear symbol on their edge. It is likely that a similar practice will be adopted in Finland when diamond production starts. Future Finnish diamonds would probably be marked with a swan or flag symbol.
I am told the 90,000 carats per single tonne (1% Diamonds) is the highest grade ever recorded in the world. How on earth did that not attract more attention. On the face of it, this looks like it may be an absolute genius move by KDR to acquire Lahtojoki. To have had the foresight and enter Finland many years ago and stay the course when most other companies appear to have abandoned the diamond search in Finland for elsewhere , is remarkable for such a small company. I will be watching closely to see what surprise comes next from KDR.
