Good to see Jappila 1 decision today ….. Appel period ends 11 March 2024. Will be interesting to see what they have there….. must be significant
Morons Tweeting about the price of copper going up again so what KDR arnt going to benefit from any rise in the price of the metal or diamonds for that matter .
Looks like it’s already started
https://rapaport.com/news/strong-demand-sends-ekati-rough-sales-surging/
Interesting article soda
With many. Companies like North Arrow putting their diamond projects on care and repair would. Agree
But Lahtojoki a small project in comparison holds extremely fancy gems , pink and blue and Rio fancy markers needs stock ? Now and the market already there demand outweighs supply
Kuhmo. When ! Confirmed and a deal concluded will take several years to become a mine
Environment l, mining. Permission???
Then we have another ace card copper?
As frustrating as this family run company appears, am still convinced we have experienced geological evidence we are on the money.
When will that happen .???
Who knows but we can’t be far away and permit looming and that’s holding us up I think???
When you read articles like the one below, it makes you think now maybe isn't the best time to make a major diamond find and to sell it. Perhaps it would be better to hold shares for the foreseeable and maybe in a few years get top dollar? I appreciate a lot of you have held shares for a lot of years so that might not be very appealing. Paul Zimnisky, who is quoted in the article, is a respected diamond expert I believe.

You make a very good point Tick-tock
The only thing I hold onto here is that surely the Prof will want to be around to see a deal happen.
Board won't lift a finger not now not never it keeps them in the lifestyle they've become accustomed to .The only ones that will lose everything eventually here are the shareholders as nothing material will ever happen that I'm 99% certain .I should sell and be done with it but it's like the lottery you know your numbers will never come up but you still do it just in case .So I will lose everything I've invested here unless this 14 million to 1 shot actually does something but you've probably got more chance of winning the lottery !
When you read that article, you realise that everything is topsy-turvy at KDR.
Why ?There are a number of reasons:
1. Family Run
2. Directors have large shareholdings and have over the years created a situation were they are well insulated in their positions. A low share price has helped them gain higher number of shares, thus eliminating the urgency for them to increase the share price.
3. High percentage of shares are in sticky hands and owned by directors and family.
4. Conroy Golds investment in KDR was a higher percentage the lower the share price was. (the hilarious...I asked myself if I was interested ...common directors scenario, still makes me laugh)
5. Nothing to see here!!!...low share price/market cap....nobody is looking.....tell shareholders as little as possible...maybe they will loose interest.
6. No need to market the company or wax lyrical, as Rio Tinto/ others already in background. But dont draw any attention to that.
The list could go on.
The flip side is that it all bodes well for big things, when they do eventually pull the trigger with KDR.
Good luck all.
Maybe management should read this:
https://www.investopedia.com/investing/why-do-companies-care-about-their-stock-prices/
When the National Land Survey of Finland granted rights of way over the entire Naviskangas private forest road, together with a side road, giving KDR vehicular access to its Lahtojoki diamond deposit, the adjacent Lahtojoki South exploration permit area, and the surrounding reservation, the rights of way were valid to 2 January 2024. Does anyone know if the Land Survey have to grant that again or does it just get extended? Where is this mining permit? Beyond a joke now. Come on management give shareholders something other than this eternal 2p share price. Its unnecessary. Please also stop saying that its up to the market to decide, when it was up to management who took it from 4p down to 2.5 in 5 minutes via the last placing. Its not a private company, its a public company and it is the job of directors to increase the share price for shareholders. The current share price range will not be tolerated indefinitely.
The Riihivaara 26 exploration permit covers Karelian Diamond's kimberlite (olivine lamproite) discovery at Riihivaara. Exploration permits Riihivaara 24, 24a and 24b cover the adjacent areas. The Riihivaara permits are in an emerging kimberlite field, in which the Company has to date identified 20 regional anomalies
The mine was the first successful commercial non alluvial diamond mine not located on a kimberlite pipe. The pipe is named "AK-1", although it is commonly simply called the "Argyle pipe". The volcanic pipe is a diatreme, composed of olivine lamproite, present as tuff and lava
What was in.KDR release yesterday olivine lamproite💎😳🇫🇮🔥
“Diamonds are still a niche pursuit for Rio: sales in the division hit £800 million last year, paling by comparison with its bulk commodities arm…. Rio’s only other diamond mine is Diavik in Canada, which produces white diamonds and a few rare yellow stones. It, too, is winding down and is slated to close in 2026.
Could we tiny KDR be a replacement 💎🤔
The Riihivaara kimberlite comes to surface and extends for at least 350 metres. It is a dyke which remains open in both directions along strike with widths of up to two metres intersected. Drilling has already successfully intersected kimberlite at a deeper level and has also shown that the dyke dips at circa 50° to the Northeast.
INTRESTING
comes to surface and extends for at least 350 metres.
Would be a open pit mine (TO START OFF? )add olivine lamproite) and this is rather exciting for another Arygle type mine full of Finnish Promise of Fancy gems and right up Rio street ???!!!
Cant disagree Bonnie lets hope we see a massive route to market this year and Finnish line we can only live in hope
Sure as egg is egg and this diamond comes in ,i fear for anyone trying to get in here .
My gut feeling is this will go over night and massive shock (we hope )
ONE THING FOR SURE WE ARE SAT ON A FORTUNE AS LONG AS THEY GET IT OVER THE FINNISH LINE !!!
olivine lamproite IS THE ARGYLE KEY HERE AND PERHAPS THE PROF WANTS HIS CROWN 2024 AND NOT FROM THE GOOD LORD ,LOL
This will still be around in 30 to 40 years to keep the good Sorca living a lavish life style many years after the Prof has passed. Nothing will happen year after year just fluffy rns releases now and again dangling the carrot oh and lots of stockbox interviews leading up to the next placing .Place the shares with the usual suspects who then load their stock onto the offer to keep the sp down in the safe of the titanic with no fear of it being bought by anyone as there's never any news and then when it's time for the next placing CON Roy appears by magic with the usual talk the sp up bs along come all the big sells by the Jockeys how many weeks did that go on Hooops ? Followed by the inevitable low ball placing rinse and repeat.

US lab-grown diamond producer files for bankruptcy
12 Oct 2023 — WD Lab Grown Diamonds, the second-largest US producer of man-made diamonds, has filed for bankruptcy, becoming the sector's first big
Nope
Genuine Fancy diamonds are commanding big money
If we have.found the next Argyle mine
Add Lahtojoki
Northern Ireland
Our tiny company won’t be tiny for much longer
Hope we don't get anymore good news or share price will be 1p. Jeez
Unfortunately it's impossible to put a timescale on things here. We could be sold within 3 months if the BOD wanted to. On the other hand we could still be here in 10 years having just celebrated the Prof's 100th birthday...
What do you think the timeline will be now lads/ lassies . What's the next step? .When do we expect more news from Ireland?
Kev mentioned at AGM he wanted to revisit Seitapera
Far more exciting things there?
Seitapera - I think it may also be olivine Lamproite
Lamproites may contain large volumes of rounded olivine crystals (macrocrysts) that originated from the upper mantle underlying the Earth's crust. Rocks containing high volumes of these olivine crystals are often the most rich in diamonds. In the Kimberley region of Western Australia, only the lamproites containing high volumes of olivine crystals have proved to contain economic quantities of diamond.
