@neebaj - I see. That could be a case. Is there a closing time to when questions should be posted?
@Maddog - Wouldn't market close today be too early as we are behind in terms of time to Brazil? The last update on the court link yesterday was posted after 6 I think because I remember checking and seeing nothing pre 6 pm gmt+1. Maybe RNS in the morning?
cause/we have institution invested here or ready " that invest million in companies it has nothing to do with mcap at all it is all about risk" lets wait and see if we get a rns after hours around 5.30 if not all will come out in the wash over the next few weeks "
You could read it either way in my opinion. The ambiguity of the timing may limit the questions shareholder's can ask post RNS, if negative. Thereby, easing the pressure.
Thanks Degsie. I missed that post while catching up. :)
Cause 17.,see my posting at 10.41.
Also another general question.
From what Frankie said earlier, I understand that there is a Q&A session on voxmarket with KDNC (Correct me if I am wrong).
Would the timing be interesting? With positive news (fingers crossed and I really really want it to be positive), could this be an effort to drum up investment for the next phases (My thinking is that it would be very nice timing to push it out there if the news is positive. Also can I read into the timing as the management sentiment is also positive on the outcome as if it is a negative result, I would think that whoever faces the question may have some tough time?)? I also notice that KDNC comes up as one of the most read RNSs whenever it comes out.
Would really value all opinions.
@Maddog38 - Could there be an argument for institutions waiting on the outcome of court decisions and following that, the acquisition of 20-27%? I see this as a huge risk factor here but once it is overcome, how would you feel about institutional sentiment?
Also what is the take on the below?
=====================================================================================================
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/KDNC/binding-investment-amapa/14102294
To acquire its 27% interest Cadence will invest US$ 6 million over two stages in JV Co. The first stage is for 20% of the JV Co the consideration for which is US$2.5 million. The second stage of investment is for a further 7% of JV Co for a consideration of US$3.5 million. If Cadence is unable to complete the second stage of the investment or not exercise its right of first refusal under the terms of the Agreement, Indo Sino will have a twelve-month option to buy the shares in JV Co held by Cadence for 1.5 (1 ½) times the price paid by Cadence for such shares.
=====================================================================================================
Does this mean if KDNC doesn't put up the 27.5 million $ then they will still get 1.5% of investment back or hold their 20% in case where Indo Sino doesn't exercise their option?
Also, one of the recent developments that was intriguing for me was Jundal Group trying to get back into the mix of things by applying for a petition trying to derail the JRP. Surely they see value in this for them to do that?
Especially their argument (which was rejected) stating there was no bidding process, which is what gave me the opinion that they want back in.
l am quite sure that we have some institution's on board here that would throw money at AMAPA if it was such a good deal , just wait and see " l want this s/p to rise not go down but reality does play a part,
l have never said that Amapa is uneconomical l would say it is profitable for who ever can find a way through to get the large amount of investment ,
jonesy
Well in your 30 years of investing you should know institutions have a certain Mcap they’ll touch. Unfortunately ours is way off the mark on that one. Just look at ggp pretty much derisked yet institutions are flocking to that one either. It’s the way aim is. Also there’s always an element of risk. Hence the risk/reward. But I haven’t seen anything yet that this time round it won’t happen for kdnc. And from this Mcap the upside should all go well is huge! (Risk/reward) again. However the issue I have with you is that your negativity here on a daily basis is completly unnecessary, and questionable that’ll you’ll spend so much time down talking a share you’re invested in. Doesn’t make sense unless you have a hidden agenda ofcourse. Or maybe you’ve opened a short?
jonesy/ l will just say one thing and that is were are the institution that are invested in kdnc" if it were to be such a good deal as posters say " they would be flocking in with placements " to make millions , as l say two o three weeks and we will find out the bad from the good , the first line should answer your question, if l am wrong l will bow to the board , ho and do your own research , l have been researching for 30 years so l am no stranger to hype,
Ok so let’s see what economics you’ve done then. Let’s see your working.
Other posters on here Observer bring one have been very open with their calculations. I’m interested to see yours. And why you think this is so uneconomical especially with iron ore at around $100 at the moment
jonesy just wait and see fiction will not make facts , if you have bothered to look at the economics you may change your mind , for get the crap you read here in two or three weeks things will change , so l will report back to you in three weeks time now go back to sleep" l will wake you up later, G/L
You get more and more negative by the day maddog. Why are you spending your time commenting on a board of a share you think is done. And don’t say to warm and help other investors. Your claims are backed up by no facts and just your own opinion based on past events
no rns bye 5.30 and we will be down to 6p bye friday, are we been played ? , this deal is know were near done creditor's and loan to be put in place that's if you can get a loan . then you have corruption at the highest level to fight against. AMAPA will take a lot more than numbers it will take more money than KDNC could ever hope to raise to see this through. if they manage to get some ore shipped take the little spike and run " that's if there is one , G/L
