Although this interview has s a couple month old, after this announcing two near term revenue projects this week, both with great potential to expand, it’s worth a re listen to this stock box from a while ago..
“Having invested £7.5m in our business, the Kansagra family has always made clear that their goal is to bring all shareholders along on our journey
In this interview, recorded in the summer, Bhulo Kansagra shares his investment vision for #KAV”

A more than decent week, reflected by the share price moving into the 0.7s, which hopefully should serve as support for now. Karakubis drilling is likely to commence in April. I don't know when we get drilling results from Hillside and Nara though? Previously BT had said assays were waiting for export clearance, but don't know if he's now indicating they are more imminent than that?
I suspect we'll hear a lot more about Karakubis in the next two weeks. The licences are in between Rio (Namibia) to the west and the Sandfire Motheo copper mine to the east. The Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) is a district copper region with at least two +$bn mines plus others in the pipeline. What they're looking for is a D'Kar/Ngwako Pan contact 200-300m deep, typically anticline folds. Its not easy because much of Botswana has a thick sand cover so there's very few physical signs at surface. Last year Kavango bought ENRG's neighbouring licences in a forced sale to form a very large strategic block, ENRG had drilled 5,000m in other parts of the licence areas without success, more recently geophysics identified 3 dome structures & ENRG were ahead of KAV in their development although KAV now think they've found similar structures on their original licences. Kavango are now using the regional expert Dave Catterall, important because he's focussed efforts away from more developed licences to the new Karakubis/ENRG area so I'm hoping KAV will share some of the new geophysics in the next few weeks.
Note the operating mines grades are typically 2% Cu & 15g/t Ag but sometimes as high as 6% Cu in places.
But would like some costings. Recent posters seem to agree about the future and not to worried about expenditure but a growing base. Lets hope it all comes together over the coming months. Have a good weekend.
Yes, agree with Legalwolf, JP2000 and ria20 here. This is not about looking for a company that has a solid and growing revenue and is profitable. IMO, that day will come. This is about spotting a company that has turned the corner and begun its journey into a significant next chapter.
I completely agree JP. These recent RNS are merely the appetizers and the big news is hopefully to come. It's all about getting in ahead of positive results on those three key projects.
Does First Equity provide a target share price?
The real game changers are Karakubis drilling in the next 4-8 weeks, Hillside assays and Nara drilling.
I do agree revenue will be generated at a profit. A profit is a profit and i am happy with todays RNS and think what they have now done in the last 9 months is pretty amazing and last two RNS have been game changing for the company this week and progress is in full force and i believe this is a multi-bag opp now at todays price. i am happy to invest and lovely to also see the buy rating from First Equity today and like what the company is doing and making progress i believe 2024 will be the year the share price will grows very strong
Tbh, this project is small in the overall scheme of things. But KAV has only just got started in Zim, and has loads planned for this year. Against the bullish backdrop of a strong gold price, fully funded, revenue generating and non dilutive financing options ahead of it, KAV should have a strong year.
It's not about this RNS, or even this quarter, but about this whole year, which if it goes well, lines KAV up strongly for 2025 as well.
For me, it's a hold, and then buy the pullbacks/lows, as this stairways upwards.
This is a stock that was previously an exploration company , now it’s generating revenue , not only on hill side but also
Nara .
Get behind the stock, they have cash , claims and and
Increasing the number of plant /machinery to Boost revenue further.
Ria20, all I'm asking is do you agree that the RNS only shows the revenue from the expected gold mined and that to be of value and to provide a fuller financial picture, it would be helpful to know the expenses of mining said gold. I agree with what you are saying about the future of the company.
NotHopeful i am not the CEO of this company, the company provide financial reporting RNS that explain machinery and other costs. I guess you better take a look at these and ask him yourself, you can have a conversation with him on the Telegram group. He will answer all your questions on there.
Justlookatthat, please can you explain why when I make a perfectly valid observation regarding profit against revenue you say I'm deramping. I have no intention of deramping, I'm purely stating the obvious regarding the RNS which did not mention net profit or costs of running the mine verses the value of the gold produced.
Ria, you have not answered my question @11:14, but instead you state other facts. I agree that the company is making progress but please take time to read my 11:14 message and answer the question yes or no!
New video 14 minutes long and well worth listening to.

Kavango Resources PLC - Southern Africa-focused metals explorer - Announces that it expects to move to revenue in March, adding that it aims to double current production to one kilogram of gold a month over the course of 2024. Kavango also announces that it has signed its first contract to start immediate gold mining operations at its Hillside project in Zimbabwe. Also says that it has formed a new subsidiary in Zimbabwe, Kavango Mining Ltd. Chief Executive Ben Turney says: "Current revenue at Hillside amounts to around AUD30,000 per month, and the operation there is already profitable. Continuous production at Zimbabwe gold projects secures the ground and forms an important part of any long-term development plan. Our objective is to become a significant gold producer in this country, and this is our first step towards achieving this goal. If all goes well, there are other production opportunities we hope to bring to Kavango."
Current stock price: 0.82 pence, up 14%
This is low cost mining, oxide which is easy to process, no expensive mines, very little automation, very cheap labour. Profit will easily be $1,000/oz. Yes its small scale even with the third stamp mill but its about developing a mining business.
Exactly InvestorPA - Not deramping here. Just simply addressing the key pieces of info that have been omitted from the RNS regarding the potential profitability of this project in a reasonable manner. My opinion (which is going to be different to others) is "this doesn't excite me in the slightest".
Anyways will leave it there and hopefully more info comes to light down the line as revenue figures are meaningless here.
Agreed Tray556. What is the AISC? No doubt this will be pumped by the usual suspects on Twitter and Telegram as it's got a low mcap but we'll have to wait and see what the profits look like.
This thread quite interesting as I found some of the RNS a bit puzzling .

Upping production and adding plant is a sign that there is revenue and profit . Across multiple areas/claims.
The cash from the raise along with new detection technology is proving positive.
Stop the deramping of your own investment and back them !
Nothopeful, the Company has designated four priority prospects at the Hillside Project with a view to discovering larger-scale gold deposits that are suitable for modern bulk mining.....Hillside potential is massive and this move today is the first of many great moves...... just the beginning .....many people will be buying today as it an exciting phase in the company and they have the backing already ....millionaire /billionaire backing.....which makes this company very exciting and great progress is being made now which is fabulous to see
Revenue is pretty much irrelevant here. What is left after costs i.e. the profit element (or at least some profit projections) of the venture is what matters.
The RNS does state "Current revenue at Hillside amounts to around $30,000 per month and the operation there is already profitable"
The question here is how profitable? Is the profit margin 1%, 10%, 20%, 50%? That is what matters and there is no info in the RNS regarding this. I can only assume that the profit margins are nothing to shout about, otherwise it would have been included in the RNS. But like I said, I can only assume do to the minimal info in the RNS.
Nice to see what appears to be positive progress. However, there will be directors in the new Zimbabwe subsidiary that need paying. Hopefully the additional overheads won't dwarf any benefit.
Ria20, from the RNS earlier today it states that the company is taking over an existing mine, surely they would have undertaken due diligence before entering into the takeover. The company must know how many oz were being mind and the costs incurred to generate the oz. As a shareholder I'm pleased that progress is being made, but until the costs are disclosed we are in the dark about profitability, surely you must agree with this ?
You might want to take a look at this and read to give you a good background on the company and why it is a buy
