RNS out today confirming my last post. Full-year EBITDA to be well ahead of market expectations at c£12m with more to come I think. As their CEO said:
"Our pipeline remains strong for the remainder of FY21 and we are confident of making further progress in the current financial year."

Good results, without too many surprises. What I liked most was the bit in the outlook for the rest of the year "...with January producing the highest profit month so far in FY21 and the pipeline remains strong, giving us confidence for the remainder of H2 and beyond". If Jan was the best month YTD then there is a good chance of an upward revision to the full-year forecast at some stage.

Motoring nicely results out 16th and divi announcement.
Today this share was strongly tipped in the new release of the respected publication Small Company Share Watch!
All stocks seem down and theres no bad news attributed to K3c from what i have seen
Any thoughts on why the share price might have dipped a bit today? reflecting the general market drop, or something more fundamental?
This share was tipped in Small Company Sharewatch Magazine today
I see from the RNS of 17th Nov that directors have been awarded options on “growth shares” which can be either taken as shares or cash provided that the SP stands at £3.50 or higher at the end of May 2023. As these targets tend to be conservative, I am taking this as a very positive signal going forward.
Following a tip from John Rosier, here's something of what he has to say:
According to Stockopedia, it is valued at 17.5x May 2021 earnings forecasts falling to 12.5x May 2022 forecasts. That looks cheap for 40% growth and gives an attractive PEG Ratio.
The forecast dividend for May 2021 is 8.4p giving a yield of 4.2%, rising to 12.0p in May 2022, giving a juicy yield of 6.0%. Again, that looks attractive.
Good luck all
I was thinking the same myself. Nice rise lately, sentiment seems good and a high volume of trades. Hopeful for the long term.
For a share that has gained around 25% in a few weeks!
3.8p divi payable on the 27th Oct to those who hold on the 8th. Nice set of results coupled with strategic acquisitions (particularly the insolvency practice). In for the long term.
did a bit of research and then took a punt on Primary Bid. pity SP has tracked back down to the offer price now
Yep. Took shares through Primary Bid. Fully allocated...
I like the company and pleased to see them buying an R&D business.
Surely a good sign that BOD buying 100,000 shares between them....
Just took a few shares from todays Primary Bid offer....not sure why mind...a complete punt.... anyone else take any?...did you take any barnetpeter??...
On the face of it this looks decent value. The share price is volatile on low volume. The Consultant (sales person) will visit a prospective business owner (often at home) and give an ‘on the spot’ good valuation of your business. There is no particular appetite to view the business or premises, but a fair amount of pressure to shell out many £1000’s upfront on the promise that a buyer may be found some months down the road. People that do not sign up will be canvassed regularly. The cynic in me says that this business model is more about the upfront fee than selling the business. Yes, there will be commission when a buyer is found (further revenue) however my guess is that this model and the K3C share price performs at it’s best when new businesses are being signed up weekly, rather than being sold. May dip my toe in the water at £1.00.
K3C K3 Capital, been moving up all day. Now up nearly 5% on the day.

John Rigby, CEO of K3, commented:
"We are pleased to report another very solid H1 performance with more transactions completed during the first half than ever before, a particularly encouraging performance in the context of the difficult market backdrop of political and economic uncertainty. This growth is further backed up by a record number of deals in the pipeline that underpins our confidence of continued growth in the second half of FY20 and beyond."
nearly Brock my roles to invest in AIM last week after trading announcement now i wish i did .
Been reading this website occasionally, figured I'd chip in, draw your own conclusions.
An interesting first ever post!
So insightful, bravo
It would seem that this business relies on the upfront marketing contribution of its new sellers to form the bulk of its revenue and profitability.
It is clear from the declared group revenue and the consistent lack of recent deals press releases that the bulk of their income comes from this upfront fee.
If it didn't, and the business claimed that the majority of their income comes from the commission element then surely we would be seeing total transactional values in the range of £300-500m per annum (assuming a commission rate of ~3-5%) - not only would this be a staggering accomplishment that has not been proudly boasted across their marketing platforms, the underlying profitability simply does not support this claim. Recent deals imply alot of small value deals being processed.
My theory, compounding political and economic uncertainty prevents new businesses from putting up the 'for sale' sign, this business relies on the upfront marketing fee paid by new sellers to K3 Capital, this causes a downwards revision of forecasts, directors scramble to slap a "it's because of Brexit" label on it and for another year investors are told the big deals are in the pipeline, just wait and see!
Carrot infront of a donkey springs to mind.
Donkeys don't make good investors.
My opinions, do your own research.
and the seller in the know as usual, insider trading & it stinks
Seller in the background it appears.
Not sure what they know that we dont, but looking at the size of the drop it seems overdone to me.
I am buying small amounts each day at these low levels as it seems oversold on all indicators. Time as always will show if that is a bad move!
