I think this isnt the type of share to make a quick buck. Renewable energy is the way to go, this company dont just deal in wind farming. It will gradually pick up but over the long term.
In the morning I can see this bounce back up.
Not enough swear words available to describe my disgust. And I thought Saudi is corrupt, i better invest in a transparent economy. Sorry Brits: Its the University of Corruption here!
It was clearly outlined in the offer document that it was a possibility.
sounds like government waited for the ipo to clear before announcing withdrawal of inshore wind farm funding. Together with mm manipulation SP may be held at current level for a while then slowly drop as scotland votes for devolution.
I couldn't believe the announcement this morning. yet another tory announcement proving that our government has no vision for the future and cares for nothing more than getting re-elected. Sold all my shares since I can see this dropping for a while.
If the below is happening and it is due to end on 13th are we going to see a big drop off in the price? "In connection with the offer of the above securities, the Stabilising Manager may over-allot the securities or effect transactions with a view to supporting the market price of the securities at a level higher than that which might otherwise prevail. However, there is no assurance that the Stabilising Manager will take any stabilisation action and any stabilisation action, if begun, may be ended at any time. Any stabilisation action or over-allotment shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and rules."
Starting to slowly drop again
I couldn't believe this Infinis went down to 250, I very nearly sold out at that price then decided to have my breakfast and when I next looked it was at 260. the MMs are playing with us.
we had our pants taken down chaps for us that sold
A overpriced ipo taken a 10p loss looks like going nowhere anytime soon sold out this morning.
ive called wrong - not sure if stocks and shares are for me as i have a knack of losing money this last two years!
I think it is...... Dividend yield is no good if share price drops by the same amount or even more and I think this is possible. I've sold today at a loss of 10p per share. Good luck to everyone holding but I think the announcement could be quite damaging and is awful timing just after the launch..
yes me out too, was quite optimistic of some profit today after last nights close but this could drip drip for a while.
Yes just read that since my last post, given Infinis is onshore wind it's a big blow in my opinion... the gov giving more to off shore wind. Think that Infinis should still be ok in their current contracts but does not bode well for future... yield still attractive but can they maintain that in the future with the Gov rethinking on renewables? the share price likely to take a significant hit... im out. DYOR. GLA
to do with the government announcment today that there will be less ivestment in onshore wind power?
Is this heading for a crash? Or rally?
An image is growing in my mind of Fat Cats milking the shareholders
Infinis is due a good Rally, hopefully today. GLA
Hopefully when markets open INFINIS will jump to at least 265p.
Starting to climb, we are going to close above 260 and also yielding 7.1%. NICE
Infinis is apparently one of the top three generators of renewable energy in the UK. but does that justify the salaries that they're paying to their top executives? According to the FT data, the CEO and CFO are both on over half a million a year and the chairman is on a quarter million, yet net profits have declined for each of the three years reported and last year the company was unable to extract any profit from 232 million revenue. At the same time, debt to capital ratio is 64%.
Hopefully Infi will rise today with the BUY RATING. Be great to go to 270+ today.
Beaufort Securities started coverage on shares of Infinis Energy PLC (LON:INFI). Beaufort Securities issued a buy rating on the stock.
well looking at level 2 it seems to be (yes), I guess the obvious question is why? Two ideas leap to mind. Either they get a bonus for doing so or the management get a bonus and have negotiated it into the deal. My guess would be the second and apart from getting a (big) bonus why? Nah, couldn't think of anything else.
