'InfraStrata plc is pleased to announce that the status of the Islandmagee gas storage project as an EU Project of Common Interest ("PCI") was reconfirmed by the recent announcement made by the European Union.'

The PCI status was reconfirmed by the EU in Nov 2017 in the full knowledge that the UK will 'leave' the EU (though leaving means nowt in the real world). It seems to me the EU is committed to the project because they understand it connects Ireland and N-Ireland. This concern is a none concern
Found the link confirming EU funding to non-EU countries
https://t.co/q7SK0Z57l0?amp=1
See table 10
"If an infrastructure project is considered as strategic for the interests of the EU, non-EU countries can also host PCIs. For instance, among the current 195 PCIs , there are also projects concerning Norway, Switzerland , Ukraine, Israel and Algeria. On this basis, PCIs concerning the UK could continue to advance with EU support even after the withdrawal, should this be considered by the European Commission to be in the EU interest "
... and funding is guaranteed/underwritten by the UK government
Hi EP The EU funding for the FEED is "Brexit proof" and as long as the FEED is completed on time will be paid. In the last update RNS it was mentioned they were looking into additional EU funding towards CAPEX. Because islandmagee is a project of common interest (PCI) EU extra EU funding is a possible whether in or out of Europe. This is my understanding
... A fellow investor recommended this share.
Having had a quick read of the programme ambitions, recent raising for FEED etc ... one question:
How will Brexit affect the company given that the website carries the title: "Co-financed by the European Union" on most pages?
If this has already been addressed previously, my apologies. Newbie.
Thanks

Well said Setanta, great post. Nothing to add, said it all.
Great post Setanta! And thanks for the comment
Crikey !! Setanta 1...this is one of the best well constructed general ( i.e. non specific content ) posts and hits the nail on it's proverbial head in all respects.Along with others ( with whom I am in direct touch I am a LTH and with the knowledge of the backing of the likes of L&G (also LTH's) and the progress now with FEED and as you rightly say the unquestionable importance of this project, please all of you maintain your confidence through the ups and downs in the next few weeks. If there is any news in the next 24 hours per JW then could be a good finish to the week -say .80P ?!! ..for the second time !!
A fair post Setanta1 IMO. Would like to add a couple of points please: Mkt Cap is still very low and offers plenty of upside from here, based upon positive newsflow. Some larger investors continue to add to their holdings, from Initial post placing prices. Tomorrow afternoon's Q&A session is set to be very informative. Good luck to long term and recent holders alike. BD
I guess the main problem we have as investors in INFA is that there are two distinct types of investors here. There are the LTH's,( from the requisition days and beyond), many of whom bought in at prices much higher than todays SP, and the shorter term holders who bought in at the April placing and in the month or so afterwards on the open market. The first group are waiting for significant news relating to progress and investment in INFA which will bring them into decent profitibality while the second group aare very happy with the killing they have made to date and which they continue to make as they ,(the placees), continue to exercise their warrants and thus increase their profit.
Neither group is to be blamed for their attitude. The April placing set us up for this. The problem is that it makes for a lack of enthusiasm in the share on the part of the LTH's and any new investors. This is AIM and investors don't jump in if they think that the price they are paying today will decrease because the placees will lower it tomorrow as they exercise their warrants. And good share investments need new investors in order to succeed.
But there are very good prospects for the more patient. INFA looks to be a certainty for construction and the forward looking will see the opportunity. We have a freshly constiituted executive group and I would guess that the reconstitution was more or less dictated by a major shareholder. L&G I would guess. We are about to enter a period of intense news relating to FEED,to first client decision, to investment, and to future development and prospects for profitability.
No one should doubt the importance of INFA to gas storage in Ireland and the UK. If you have any doubts just read spudthe plumber's excellent posts. I think we may be about to take off to the benefit of all stakeholders here.

Fair enough Setanta Onwards and UPwards
You know I think it was unnecessary, spud. The FEED money could easily have been raised from a handfull of investors and the massive dilution would have been avoided. You know we have opposite opinions on the matter, and since it is now water under the bridge I expect it should be left at that. Go well.
I hope you've submitted your questions for the Q&A on Thursday Setanta? You never know you may get some answers. Perfect opportunity to raise any issues. To raise the amount infa raised at that price at the then mcap was quite impressive imo. One reason this could be done was the warrants! Think of it as a buy opp before the real news arrives
You're right sclemiel and that highlights the damage done to the SP by the maladroit, and unnecessary placing last April to raise the money for FEED. The method still mystifies me. So now it,s up to the newly constituted BOD to produce sufficient good news to encourage new investors. INFA is sound.

"In energy transition, gas storage becomes more important "
I think most lths will agree 4 months ago we could only dream of the sp being at a level to attract warrant conversions! All good, cash in the bank
this stock would be 2p and arguably higher by degrees
