Nice summary from the respected Techmarketview:
"Tuesday 26 November 2019
IMImobile enjoys strong first half
Cloud communications software provider IMImobile has released a strong set of interim results with revenues up 24% (18% organic) to £83m (H1 18: £67.2m) and adjusted EBITDA up 27% to £9.8m (H1 18: £7.7m).
The company saw organic growth in all regions and business units underpinned by things like increased demand from financial services clients dealing with fraud issues, communications service providers switching to RDS - the SMS upgrade technology, as well as a strong period of new client wins (see - IMImobile delivers Vauxhall win).
Acquisitions remain a key part of company strategy, buying 3CInteractive Corp a private US cloud-based customer engagement platform for £42.8m, as a route to significantly expand its North American presence. Access to the US market should play a major role in the second half of the year and with many customers perceived to be ‘less mature’ in their use of digital comms, offers up significant opportunities to grow.
The company also made a post period end acquisition of Rostrvm, a UK-based contact centre software provider for up to £3.5m, that should allow access to the wider customer services market and capitalise on the huge amount of disruption being felt there at the moment.
Things are looking up for IMImobile – not only does entry into the US offer significant opportunity (and of course challenges!) but customer experience remains one of the largest areas of investment and increasingly central to value propositions throughout client operations, no longer confined solely to the front office."
Good H1 results, with success and confidence across all regions. The problems in Africa are now well and truly behind them, and "significant" new tenders have been won.
The commentary and outlook are self-explanatory:
"Outlook
The Board has been encouraged by the strong first half of the year having delivered growth in all regions in which the Group operates. We remain excited by the structural growth opportunity in customer communications and, with an experienced team established in key geographic markets, the Board believes that the Group is well positioned to continue to deliver on its strategic priorities in the second half with current trading in line with expectations."
"Jay Patel, Chief Executive Officer of IMImobile PLC, commented:
"89% of companies are now competing primarily on the basis of customer experience(1) , meaning demand for customer communication software has never been greater. Our enterprise-grade offering, and comprehensive set of applications addresses the needs of the largest complex global organisations. With the introduction of new, richer communication channels, we are excited about the possibilities for dramatically improving customer experience."
"We have made strong organic progress throughout the first half of the year and expect the positive momentum to continue through to the year end and beyond. The acquisition of 3Cinteractive provides a solid foundation in the US and we are very confident of success in this market. The outlook for the year is positive and we are trading in line with Board expectations."
RNS just out - Octopus Investments continue to buy. They now have over 5% with 3.76m shares (they first declared over 3% in late July with 2.3m shares):

Good to see more global expansion of IMO's RCS mobile messaging service:

"IMImobile partners Mavenir to offer next-gen SMS marketing
October 24, 2019
IMImobile, a global communications software provider has partnered with Mavenir, a US-based network software provider, as part of its RCS Business Messaging Ecosystem to accelerate market adoption of this richer, more interactive channel.
IMImobile and Mavenir will work together with global operator mutual customers, integrated RCS enablement technologies and a shared vision to increase adoption of this new channel globally.
RCS is the evolution of mobile messaging; an upgrade to SMS on a global scale that enables businesses to deliver incredibly engaging interactions.
RCS removes the need for consumers to download multiple apps; instead users can directly communicate with businesses from within the messaging app itself, allowing them to engage with virtual assistants to book flights, buy clothes, confirm restaurant reservations and more. The GSMA revealed that RCS has currently been launched by 81 operators worldwide and forecasts an additional 27 operator launches by Q1 2020.
BG Kumar, President Communication Services Group at Mavenir said: “At Mavenir, we embrace disruptive innovative technologies that drive service agility, flexibility and velocity. By working closely with IMImobile we can innovate to meet the growing demand from customers who prefer to communicate with businesses over more interactive channels such as RCS.”
IMImobile’s Enterprise CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service), IMIconnect, enables businesses to intelligently create, manage and automate end-to-end customer communications across multiple channels. Earlier this year, IMImobile announced the release of its unified RCS messaging API. Through the API and alongside IMIconnect’s low-code tools and visual workflow builder, enterprises can design, build and launch RCS messaging journeys at speed and scale. Mavenir will be leveraging these communications orchestration capabilities as well as IMImobile’s AI software to automate customer journeys.
Jay Patel, Chief Executive of IMImobile, commented: “We are delighted to work together with Mavenir to accelerate market adoption of RCS for leading enterprises worldwide. Our recent acquisition of 3Cinteractive has established the Group as a leading global provider of RCS solutions.’

"IMImobile Launches Innovative Messaging Service with CBC News

CBC enables voters to ask election questions through text messaging
TORONTO, Oct. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Global communications software provider IMImobile today announced its collaboration with the Canadian Broadcast Company (CBC) to launch ASK CBC News; an innovative text-messaging service that invites voters to send election-based questions to CBC News. The text-based service is part of the CBC Canada Votes 2019 federal election coverage which was launched to create a personalized, interactive and transparent election experience offered to voters.
The project runs through October 20, allowing Canadians to launch an election conversation by texting ELECTION to 22222*, for a range of content including how to cast a ballot, how to spot fake news, and even party platform questions. It was built using IMImobile's cloud-communications software platform, which enables brands and enterprises to seamlessly facilitate two-way interactions with consumers through mobile messaging.
"It's critical in today's mobile-first environment that organizations recognize the need to leverage consumer-preferred communication channels in order to engage and connect with their audiences," says Bruce Bales, CEO of IMImobile North America. "We're proud to work with CBC News on this important initiative to drive digital transformation in the news industry."
Nice blog article from Thursday noting that Vodafone worked with IMImobile and TMW to deploy its first major RCS campaigns and saw response rates soar up to 25%:
Extracts:
"Looking at the success of the campaign, RCS showed a clear advantage over SMS and MMS, consistently engaging the customer and inspiring action. For context, a massive 80% of customers read the message, and 25% responded to the offer. By comparison, SMS and MMS scored a response rate of around 1%."
"This is just the start of Vodafone’s RCS journey to create richer interactions for their customers. The network is continuing to work with IMImobile and TMW to use the channel across customer service, operations and other key business touchpoints.
The future’s bright for RCS
With RCS demonstrating its potential for engaging customers, the channel’s popularity is growing with organisations that are looking to better manage customer expectations and enhance their CX.
In fact, according to research by Mobilesquared, around 3.23 billion people will use RCS messaging across 486 mobile operators worldwide by the end of 2023.
As more consumers move to RCS compatible devices, use of the channel by businesses is only going to continue to grow in the coming years."

IMO were featured in the Telegraph's Questor column recently as they're one of the investments in its IHT portfolio:
"IHT Portfolio update: IMImobile
IMImobile, one of our most successful tips, has recently announced full-year results and a new acquisition. The results read well: sales rose by 28pc to £143m, adjusted pre-tax profits rose by 36pc to £13.7m and cash generation was strong. Meanwhile the acquisition of 3CInteractive, an American firm, has been well received by investors.
Tony Dalwood of Gresham House, which has a large stake in IMImobile, said the deal took it “a big step forward into an important new market”.
He added: “It gives the firm a platform to grow there; it’s the last piece of the jigsaw globally. Over the past two years it has become a materially larger business.” Mr Dalwood acknowledged that takeovers involved “execution risk” but said the firm had a record of success.
“The US can have a different business culture but in our view there is little reason to worry at this point. The deal was struck at an attractive price for IMImobile.” He pointed out that there had been a lot of acquisition activity in the sector recently and IMImobile could start to attract attention, although it was “doing very well as a standalone entity”."
Good news whilst I've been away on hols. The acquisition looks a very smart strategic move into the USA, funded partly by a placing at a good price too.
Happy to hold and top up at the right time.

IMImobile delivers Vauxhall win
More good news from cloud communications software provider IMImobile with vehicle manufacturer Vauxhall choosing the firm to launch Apple Business Chat. Vauxhall will use the solution to provide customer support and book test drives for new models.
We have seen lots of positive stuff coming out of IMImobile over the last year or as the company extended its portfolio and geographic reach (see here), translating into strong growth evidenced in last week’s full year results.
One of the main drivers has been strong demand for customer experience (CX) propositions that help organisations consolidate customer communications and deploy a consistent comms strategy across channels and platforms. And it’s here that car manufacturers are increasingly competing around the quality of their CX as they look to differentiate their offer and make their brands ‘stickier’. The Vauxhall win is a good example of this and will allow customers who are Apple device users to communicate directly with the business via the Apple Messages app no longer needing to call a contact centre - all very Millennial friendly.
With products like this that address and automate comms and CX, IMImobile is operating in a growth area with an offer that customers want to buy."

IMImobile continues upward trajectory
Full-year results out today from cloud communications software provider IMImobile confirm the business remains on an upward trajectory.
We have seen lots of positive news coming out of the company over the last year or so (see here, here and here) which is translating into strong growth. Revenue for the year ending 31st March increased 28% to £142.7m (2018: £111.4m) of which 17% was organic, whilst EBITDA increased 35% to £18m (2018: £13.4m).
IMImobile has been making solid progress both tactically and strategically with a customer experience proposition that helps organisations consolidate their customer communications and deploy a consistent comms strategy across multiple channels and platforms. Driving the growth on the tech side of things includes new channels for WhatsApp for Business and Apple Business Chat for its cPaaS (Communications Platform-as-a-Service) product, plus commercial and technical progress with partners such as BT, KCOM, Salesforce and NICE inContact.
Also underpinning growth were at least a couple of other things – firstly, the company is getting more revenue out of its customers, increasing to 40 (33 in FY18) the number of client’s worth more than £500k p.a. and to 83 (43 in FY18) those with revenue between £100k and £500k p.a. Secondly, the business has been making good progress overseas having intensified its North American focus in particular.
With products and services enabling businesses to launch and orchestrate two-way, trigger-based customer communications, across multiple channels, for more personalised, real time interactions, we continue to see IMImobile as well placed and succeeding within a growth market."
N+1 Singer initiate coverage this morning with a 420p valuation:
"Transforming the customer journey
IMImobile is a leading end-to-end Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) provider targeted at Enterprises globally. The group focuses on the automation and improvement of end-user engagement, improving customer experience (CX) and reducing costs. The group is well positioned to benefit from structural growth trends in CPaaS, offering a differentiated and intuitive interactions management platform, and we initiate coverage forecasting 10% gross profit and 9% EPS growth for FY’20E.
FY’19 results confirmed strong organic gross profit growth in core markets (16% y/y), and with well flagged headwinds now clearing, we see high potential for group underlying growth acceleration. An intrinsic value of 420p/share offers strong upside potential for investors."
Excellent results, and a very, very confident outlook.
16.7p adjusted EPS is up 33% on last year, so this year we should be looking at 21p+ EPS with similar growth.
The outlook is great and highlights the forward visibility and market leadership:
"The Group is at a very exciting stage of development with technology developments creating momentum in the customer communications sector for more automation and use of digital channels. We are ideally placed to capitalise on this momentum and we believe there is no clear category leader in this market and that, due to our leading position in the advanced UK market, we have an opportunity to play a leading role globally.
The financial year has started well with trading in line with expectations. We continue to have good earnings visibility due to our established client relationships and healthy pipeline of new deployments and high proportion of recurring customer revenues. We are confident in delivering continued organic growth across all parts of the business."
Results will be on 25th June.
We already know that the results will be slightly ahead of expectations, with EBITDA up over 30%, and the new year has started with "strong momentum", so hopefully we should get a nice run-up to what will be pleasing figures.
Google has the decimal point in the wrong place! SP 31.65!

Thanks for all your updates Rivaldo....They are much appreciated
N+1 Singer's latest note is very bullish - see these extracts:
"Strong FY19 performance, positive outlook
IMImobile has issued a full year trading update indicating that revenue will be ahead of expectations (6%), with EBITDA marginally ahead (2%). Revenue is expected to be up 28% to c£142m, with adjusted EBITDA increasing over 30% to over £17.8m. This is a strong financial performance that reflects the considerable sales momentum within the business, as well as strategic progress with partners and new geographies. Looking ahead, the year has started well and management is confident of continued organic growth across all parts of the business. A FY 2020 consensus EV/EBITDA multiple of c10x looks highly attractive given powerful market dynamics, a strong consumer engagement offering, double-digit organic growth and increasing profitability....
.....Operational highlights include the number of clients with more than £500k p.a. revenue increasing to 40 from 33; clients with revenues of £100k-£500k increasing to 89 from 43 in the prior in year; enhancement of the Enterprise cPaaS offering with the recent launch of new communication channels such as WhatsApp Business and Apple Business Chat; considerable commercial and technical progress made with partners (including BT, KCOM, Salesforce and NICE inContact); and increasing focus on the North American market through the acquisition of Impact Mobile (which is performing as expected), additional senior management hires and investment.
Impact on earnings & valuation
This is a strong financial performance that reflects the considerable sales momentum within the business, as well as strategic progress with partners and new geographies. This momentum underpins a positive outlook, with management confident of continued organic growth across all parts of the business. The shares are currently trading on a FY 2020 consensus EV/EBITDA multiple of c10x, which looks highly attractive given powerful underlying market dynamics, a compelling consumer engagement offering, double-digit organic growth and increasing profitability."

"IMImobile’s (IMO) revenues for the year ending March 2019 are “ahead of market expectations” with cash profits “marginally ahead”. Revenues are expected to be around £142m, up by 28 per cent. Gross profits are expected to be around £62m, up by a fifth – or by around 7 per cent on an organic basis. As previously indicated, the group endured “headwinds” with one customer in the Middle East and Africa; excluding this, underlying organic growth in group gross profits was around 13 per cent. Adjusted cash profits are expected to rise by over 30 per cent to more than £17.8m. Net debt of £7.9m reflected the completion of the Impact Mobile acquisition. The shares were up by around 8 per cent this morning. Buy."

IMImobile riding CX and comms demand
Momentum continues at UK HQ’d communications software and solutions provider IMImobile, based on a customer experience proposition to help organisations consolidate customer communications and deploy a consistent communications strategy across channels and platforms. Performance has been strong over the past several years and the last year was no different.
The full year trading update for the year to 31 March 2019 shows expected revenue increase of 28% to £142m, of which 18% is organic growth. While the overall rate of growth is lower than the 45% of the prior year, (see here) the organic rate has increased, indicating previous acquisitions have bedded in and are generating results and the overall portfolio is working for customers too. With further acquisitions feeding in (which are opening up new opportunities in the Americas in particular), IMImobile remains well positioned. Adjusted EBITDA is expected to be over £17.8m, a 30%+ YoY increase, with gross profit c.£62m, representing a c.20% increase.
Investment in the product portfolio, including the addition of new channels for WhatsApp for Business and Apple Business Chat for the important Enterprise cPaaS product (communications Platform-as-a-Service), plus commercial and technical progress with partners such as BT, KCOM, Salesforce and NICE inContact, point to several growth drivers to continue to capitalise on.
Geographic expansion is also a driver and during the year gross profit growth across Europe and Americas hit 45%, with the region contributing over 70% of Group gross profit. At 12% and 20% organic gross profit (at cc) respectively, APAC and the enterprise business in South Africa also performed well. There was some weakness in MEA due to the impact of one particular customer; excluding this customer gross profit for the region was 13%.
With products that address and automate communications and CX, IMImobile is operating in a growth area, with a finger firmly on the digital business pulse."
Great RNS, should be going up to 350+ imo
