IHP is a seller of software to SMEs and it is now several months on since the anti bribery laws came into force, so we should start to get wind of any contract wins and hopefully contracts gains announcements. Time will tell how effective this arena is.
Hi Moreforus. I have been trawling this Board for ramping/de-ramping and came across these Subject headline shortly after my footprints. What do they mean? And who are they referring to if anyone as they appear to be taking a pop at someone in particular, can you elaborate as I see no justification in the Subject matter Moreforus Posts: 6,359 Observation Opinion: No Opinion Price: 0.25 bad luck doom meister fab resultsMon 07:08 Moreforus Posts: 6,359 Observation Opinion: No Opinion Price: 0.35 NEWS bad luck troll31 May '11
Hi Moreforus. Yes I can see what you are alluding to, seems like you are alleging. Sounds like someone is venting their frustration at the poor performance of yet another company of which Angus Forrest has got involved in. You appear to be taking it personally. I have read running commentary about AF and recent pundit magazine SHARES run a piece on AF and suggested it will follow his involvement in IHP within future reports. It would appear that allegations of de-ramping and ramping is endemic on the boards but some appear to be backed up by information to hand so I do not allow myself the indulgence of anything other than honed research.
Hi Moreforus. Thank you for the information re advfn. Should we consider the fall in share price as a buying opportunity.
i dont know what you are talking about footprints but someone is now deramping this on advfn..so people panic sold.
Shares are 3%, quite fancy a decent stake here, maybe 1% if they drop the offer below 0.2p. Laughable at times the penny markets, they pile into PPA because it might get to operating profits by year end and this is actually making real profits and is valued at a quarter of PPA, if there is a decimal worth buying and holding then this one stands out under 0.25p
Hi Moreforus I have no issue with what you are saying your previous footprint has been clarified, I require no further Broker role clarification from you as I am fully aware of what Brokers do!
I don't think you understand - any broker will have access to the stock - one of the 5 market makers or more are long stock - if you try with any broker they will have exactly the same stock..its not TDW;s stock, they do not own the stock, they are agent not principle.
Oh dear. Angus Forrest has been alleged to suffer from a guardian of companies that have destroyed shareholder value. Mr AF was in charge of Billam et al a while back and conducted those Companies in a simiar fashion to this one he is currently in charge of. The midas touch appears to be lacking amongst his well documented past Corporate ventures.
Hi Moreforus. Many thanks for clarifying your footprints. I now understand what you meant to say I can be slow to interpret what is written and what is meant sometimes, that comes from my Corporate training. Thanks for clarification and TDW will be pleased with the plug and hope they find a home for their stock!
2.5 mill still on offer...so where did that come from...why is the market long all of a sudden - placing stock imho tdw want 0.215p for 2.5 mill
TDW are not a market maker - they are an execution only broker.. They never form part of any syndicate in any IPO or placing , they simply are an agent and not principle. If you buy or sell any stock with TDW they are oblged under Mifid to get the best possible price so will route your order to the makret make with the best price automatically - if the market is very long or very short it will got to phone only or NT, and you will need to enter a fill or kill, limit of phone up as tdw will call the market. IHP is on SEAQ so it quote driven. There are 5 market makers. Those market makers will have access to placing stock.
TDW as stock brokers were asking .207. 2.5m is not a lot of stock here. Anyway I just took 1m of them at .204. The next 1.5m is available at .21. I will wait till they come closer to the placing price, so I can be treated like the Favoured Ones.
Hi Moreforus. TDW have not confirmed, after enquiries, that they were involved in the recent placing as it was conducted on a joint basis between Allenby Capital Ltd and Rivington Street CF and all the shares were placed this was not a public offering and as such there is no rump of the issue to dispose of. Is there a link that confirms TDW's involvement in past placings? many thanks.
tdw are offering 2.5 mill shares (about 5k gbp) at 0.207p - i;d say that;s the rump of the placing they are trying to shift - until thats cleared...
just got crazier we are red 0.20-0.23p the BoD bought 80-85% of the placing at 0.20p however there are a few shares still floating around people should be using this irrational weakness to but cheap beaten down stocks that offer real proven value
An EPS this year of 0.05p compared to a loss of (0.58p) last year says a lot really..I'm happy to wait and see this rise on the back of this news. The market is just so crappy at the moment, does present some nice buying opportunities, I think this is crazy low at the moment considering this was the SP 12 months ago when we were making a loss.
i bought this morning at 0.2195... happy to "risk" investing in a company with a p/e of 4 for the year just ended to March 2011 with guidance for the current year (after 4 full months trading since the EoY March) Current Trading The Board expects the Intellego business to trade in the current financial year considerably ahead of last year. So people can panic elsewhere but happy to buy a co that is delivering a profit and expects more at how far below fair value?? Lots of people push stocks all over bb's that this stock will double or triple etc...a p/e of 10 makes this 0.5p not 0.2p...and then H1 is only 2 months left where they already know they are ahead of last year... on any normal day in a normal time in the market the price would have doubled and even at 0.40p its still a p/e of 8..
Yes tbh Im a bit surprised this didnt rise 10-20% at least today but like you said the placing and market sentiment at the moment doesn't help. At least we are not down today like most of the market today!
Unusual for a decimal to issue good numbers, unfortunate for the timing and of course there is a placing to clear, on a normal day i reckon this would have seen 50-100 mil of volume but nobody wants to get involved but that does not mean they are not worthy of watching or a interest, on the monitor now.
i think there is a little over hang from the 0.20p placing to clear which is holding us back...
Nice to see a good set of results and a net profit! Hopefully will see a nice rise today
a going concern statement is in every set of results..as a smart guy like you knows... i would say even BP's but any company in the UK will state the what construes a going concern.
Along with the numbers there were two balanced statements regarding the future, take your pick as to the one that suits your oppinion! I adopt a high risk strategy here along with many a pundit but consider on balance IHP a buy on Company corporate releases, but consider my investment here with caution and longer term. There were quite a few intangibles and exceptionals in the accounts reflecting a return to profits "Our vision is to be a substantial player in the digital learning market-place supplying digitally published products and services to this high growth market. We will be developing this capability by leveraging the Company's existing strengths - delivering content solutions to blue chip customers in the pharmaceutical, retail and financial industries - and by opening up new markets via channel partner relationships. Intellego's goal is to grow significantly organically and by strategic acquisitions." "Should the group not deliver its business plan and liabilities arise as a result of the wind up of Intellego Group Limited, and sufficient funding is not in place to cover its obligations, there would be significant doubt about the group's ability to continue as a going concern, which therefore indicates a material uncertainty. The financial statements do not include the adjustments that would result if the group was unable to continue as a going concern."
Fantastic results as I expected, what a major turnaround from last year! I expect to see a good rise today even in this current market. Could be the only blue in the pf! Shows what huge progress the company has made in such a short space of time.
