Whooshing the wrong way . Crazy
Extremely quiet...await the whooosh.
Rns yesterday !
Always good news when they spend real money! With costs cut, new contracts being signed monthly and some hopefully hungry and focused new direction at the top perhaps share price should head back up soon.
The wife's new phone arrived at 08.15 this AM (Sunday 8th) and with it came an invite to register it and her info at: idmobile.co.uk/myid Id mobile is Carphone Warehouse's own service provider but my point is: MyID is getting popular with the people who have to keep our data safe. When I googled it I found that MyID is being used by all sorts so, when you think that the SP dropped like a stone on a profits warning I don't think that this SP is going to stay down here for much longer. Not ramping - just saying what I think. ~T
Yet more good news.
More good news.
but enough??
28.8p trades are buys!
Hopefully first of many! "Intercede, the software and service company specialising in identity, credential management and secure mobility, announces that a Middle Eastern country has selected Intercede's MyID solution to power the issuance of mobile government identities to its citizens. Under this program, any citizen with an existing national identity card will be able to easily and securely generate a new government digital identity on their smart phone via a government app. Using Intercede MyID software, this digital identity can then be used for accessing a mobile eco-system of government services, health care, banking and e-commerce. This will significantly increase the efficiency and security of public service delivery and return enhanced privacy and convenience to citizens and consumers." see RNS for more details
Out anyway ... luckily.
TW.s blog just posted a suspected finance needed story. Gulp.
on fcf positive ...or wig's M&A imv
Not and till new contracts won. Remember when this was 2pound
Got to be some value at these prices ... not seen this company so low!
on hi tech.. ...more difficult to turn a positive fcf cash profit ...'twas was the key investing lesson from the 80s/early 90s boom/bust in NASDAQ software "wonders" ..plus ca change
What on earth has hsppened hete? Big contract not renewed? Always promises but never delivers ... Pariss family gravy train ...?
unlikely
I don’t know. But the funding gap here is not very large, £3-4m pa - helped by the point they do make high margin sales. That might be an onerous amount for a micro cap, but not for a mid/large cap looking to grow in the area but doesn’t want the 5-10 year development bill. Anyway - all theoretical - I doubt Parris will let this go unless a 200%+ premium is paid. Possible but I likely.
any signs of M&A in this space? On NASDAQ?
I’m sure it is a small holding now. But why did he buy it? Unclear from the blog. Best hope here I think is a take out. I think Parris knows he has something valuable, but at the corporate level is not exploiting it well. I recall the buybacks at multiples of the current price, and he has built in sizeable fixed costs with the enlarged sales team. Perhaps the regulatory push expected over 2018 will provide the impetus, but these things have a habit of taking longer than expected. High risk - but rewards on other side with sizeable and growing market and 90%+ gross margin also apparent - perhaps a predator will come in.
though Mr Lawson's holding is small? the convertible @ 8%pa interest is troubling lack of conviction (and misalignment with ords)...imv
Ps “we own the stock”
"In reality this company is a consistent under-performaner. It operates in what should be a hot sector (personal id security) but never seems able to capitalise on its interesting technology in a growing market. Change is made difficult has Richard Parris runs it as Executive Chairman, assisted by his wife who is also employed in the business. An example of a lifestyle business, not uncommon on AIM, where the directors extract signficant sums while the business goes nowhere in particular."
