Just watch our SP when Elon announces his next 80% keserite battery. Wowsers. We'll defo hit 7p then....
Just to add in terms of BOD incentive, mostly held as options, I believe JM has around 28m, many issued a couple of years around Araguaia DFS at 4.8p. Some lower, some back in the day higher.
So for anybody buying at anything around current price, their incentive is well aligned with the BOD to get the shares substantially higher at multiples of where we are today.
I'm loving being below JM's option price with my stake of similar size, of course I had to part with hard earned for mine and I don't get to listen to what's being discussed right now behind the closed doors. But one hopes he is working hard for his, and our interests in all of short, medium and long term! GLA
>>Do people also know we have a fertiliser by-product ?!
dj stop talking fertiliser. I'll shut up now - nearly time for Malbec :)
Still whatever we're doing it is working, the sp is very gradually rising ha! Right back to work.
I've met Simon Retter. Solid guy. Jeremy Martin has been at the helm a long time and the non exec team are very strong. One of the non execs sold his last company for $bn and we all hope he can do the same here :) Plus we have a non-exec director from Teck Resources on board. Bodes well for an eventual transfer.
Wasa and DJ-thanks very much-appreciated.
Wasa that is some bet.I bought 500k this morning at average 6.3p and aim to build up to 2 million over time.I very rarely invest in miners as not my area of expertise, but this does look good-just wish they had a different broker than PH.
Anyone met the management? CVs look good, but useful if somebody knows them.
Thanks Djryan777 for responding to the questions asked. I'm learning too here and value your knowledgeable answers. I've invested on your previous inputs and indeed other posters too.
All the best
No worries - some are heavily invested here Bwana (me included - I hold above 23m shares) so money where our mouth is so to speak. Aware of the risks but IMO (only) this is as derisked as you get on AIM particularly with the Orion investment which really should have catapulted us to a different league (but didn't, due to the institutional sell down over time which followed). We are at the critical point in this companies lifetime, it is an exciting point as there could be directions set we aren't yet aware of.
Thanks Wasarunner.
Bwana valid questions, many have relatively straightforward answers - I'm working at the mo can't answer them all but sure others will. e.g. JPM fund manager pulling out of small cap space etc.etc.
But yes of course there remains risk. No risk = no reward, of course.
Price target, mine when I first invested was 20p (no firm date, just as and when we were producing, with or without Vermelho), that is very pessimistic if we don't dilute too much through the financing. I figure EACH MINE at production can be worth 25-50p. We almost certainly can't retain 100% of Vermelho, and phase 2 of neither Vermelho and Araguaia is likely to be running in 5 years, but I will stick it out there that you would be very disappointed to have less than 30p aggregate in 5 years time (either with Vermelho part/full sale) and/or Araguaia P1 fully runinng and P2 being built.
Anything from 30p-£1 might be possible, my target is very much 30p and I intend to sell none until we are taken out or we get there. GLA
I have initiated a position to start with. Wasarunner asked for insights. The bull case you all know.My concerns and questions are:
-If Vermelho is such a good project why did Vale sell. They mothballed it in 2005 having bought INCO in 2005 and then sold it to us in 2017.Maybe Vale just had too much on their hands, but still strange.
-Corporate broker is Peel Hunt-very second rate, no mining expertise and limited institutional reach in the UK and no reach in USA.Would prefer if corporate broker was Numis or Cannacord.
-Only institution on the register in a significant way is Lombard Odier. The rest is all HL,AJ Bell,II etc which is basically punters like us holding our shares in custody at our retail brokers. With Peel Hunt as broker will be more difficult to institutionalise the register, which would be ideal. However good to see Teck and Glencore on the register-I guess as probable acquirers.
-Why did JPM Asset management sell out?
-Geographic risk obviously.
-Financing risk obviously-although the debt syndicate looks okay would have been better if JPM were the lead.Put project looks very financeable.
-A rights issue is possible if they overrun on costs, but in fairness they look pretty tight.
These are just my concerns incase they help-no barrage of abuse please. As I mentioned I initiated today and will buy more as we go along.
Any views on 5 year price target-if HZM has not been acquired by then.
No problem guys-for your information I try and stay polite and to the point on any boards and I do not post a lot.
Wasarunner your excellent posts noted-good to have well informed normal people on a board.I will shut up now and get on with my DD.
Bwana,
I'm sorry asking if a company needs to raise funds on your first post on a board is at the level of spivvy traders and trolls, so no I don't know whom you are but I do know it is likely you will receive backlash from any board asking such a question. It is probably the worst question you could ask a board.
Given that within the last 2 months RNS' such as -
Interim Results for the 6 Months to end-June 2020
US$325m Senior Debt Facility Mandate for Araguaia
Are easily read you could have mitigated these questions.
Bwana I am sure nobody meant any offence, occasionally we have someone come on and throw the odd one liner then disappear it is natural sometimes to assume a deramp. All welcome here!
I'm keen to hear the views of people newly researching the company with wider knowledge of markets in any case wider perspective is always very welcome. I've been invested 2.5 years here now sometimes it is easy to get a blinkered 'all is rosy' view :)
But hopefully all is actually rosy. GLA
Pete-No problem-this was mentioned in Shares magazine,I had never heard of its and knew nothing about it, but am a big believer in the nickel big picture story. Before I do decent DD it is always helpful get a few basic questions answered.
Aimtodeath-I am an ex analyst.I will be doing deep DD-how can you make a comment like that when you have no idea who I am?
Westie-Well I guess it is not under the radar as it is in Shares mag-but why should you care if it is not under the radar, you are already invested so presumably want the shares to go up?Also why will it not remain a nice board-please explain.
Oh dear, it seems HZM is no longer under the radar? Every Tom "Dick" and Harry has arrived. Oh well, this was a nice board!
I'm always sceptical of anyone new arriving on a board asking questions that a 5 min look through RNS' would glean, especially if one of the first questions is do they need to raise cash!?
sorry mate
thought you were looking for a bit of deramping
