The company stated "It is expected that the Court Meeting and the General Meeting will take place in July 2022. The Acquisition is currently expected to complete during the fourth quarter of 2022"
Does anyone know when this amount will be paid to the shareholders?
Well ahha - we got the answer on the final dividend - shame but I think it was only wishful thinking :)
I was just wondering how long it will be for the money to be transferred to us in exchange for our shares?
I was wondering that ahha - and well done for your purchase yesterday!
HAPPY DAYS!!! Congratulations to all shareholders who stuck in there! Will there be a dividend as well?
I bought 10,000 of these at £10.54 a few days ago.....he's hoping for a nice quick profit on my investment tomorrow!
20% up will do very nicely ... fingers crossed!
It surprises me no end how often UK fund managers are at letting companies be taken over without a real fight..... Lazy or overpaid ? guess that's why the FTSE is still pretty much at the same level as it was 20 years back.
C'mon the Canadians - make the offer
I held a position in HSV for almost 1 year, which was a painful one. I eventually sold at a 25% profit. A bird in the hand is better than 2 in the forest. I think there is a marginal risk of the acquisition not materialising.
I am keeping an eye on this as I may take advantage of an unlikely price weakness. The upside from here is short of 20%
Strange - no newsflow for the past few days.
May explain the drifting downwards in the price...
I think I'll hold on for now as there seems to be a net buying going on.... not that I think you can trust the Algos manipulating the price via lots of small deals

Weekend press should be interesting. Two sides need to compromise and finalise a deal.
Aless...... thanks ,that's given me more focus to invest ....
Forward adjusted P/E nearer 23-25 at this price. Checkatrade seeing a lot of growth.
Lex: Don't look at 2021 earning to calculate the PE ratio. That was affected by an exceptional item.
The company yields about 3% of well covered dividends which have increased consistently over a number of years.
In the long term I can see HSV be worth over £15 per share. Customer retention is great in the UK. In the US the company seems to be repeating the UK success.
Would be a fool to walk away, especially in this market

Only made 47 million and on a PE of over 80 ,are they mad or am I missing something ...
Mysterious - don't blush, in the past we've all done it!
Is that a record?
Sorry, just realised it's in dollars.
Silly me
Hi folks..
Not been involved in a take over bid before, so it's all new to me here.
Just wondering how you come up with £12 per share.. The was I've looked at it is there's 336.4 million shares in issue so doesn't that equal over £14 per share?
I'd appreciate your knowledge so I know for the future.
Many thanks
$5bn divided by 336mn = $14.88
divide that by 1.23 = £12.09
Yes, it will equate about 12, so about 10% up from current
Would you say £11 is a good place to add to my holding?
Previous purchase price was ~£9
Approx £12/share
