Steady progress, so I'm still bemused as to why our s/p has been drifting down lately. I'm slightly uneasy that we have to turn to China for the processing plant design and construction since they are the main global competitors to the West in the graphite processing market. I guess they do have the most experience and can generally deliver projects on time and at reasonable cost?
GreenRoc's CEO, Stefan Bernstein, commented:
"The outcome of this battery test programme is hugely pleasing. This is the first time that graphite material from our Amitsoq Project has been tested for its performance within an assembled lithium ion battery cell. These results demonstrate that uncoated purified spherical graphite from Amitsoq performs very well as the active anode material in a battery cell, which is excellent news given that not all natural graphite material is suitable for use in the manufacture of batteries.
"Our Feasibility Study into the establishment of an active anode material processing plant is also progressing well and is on schedule. We now have comprehensive reports on the graphite anode market, on specifications for graphite anodes, and on the various options for processing techniques and equipment. During our visit to China, we saw at first hand the state-of-the-art processing equipment which today, in Chinese processing lines, is delivering active anode material to all of the world's battery producers.
"We now have a much clearer understanding of the steps towards establishing an AAM processing plant in our part of the world and look forward to completing the Feasibility Study in the next few months. This will be a key step towards GreenRoc becoming one of the first producers of active anode material for EV batteries in a Western economy."

Have to wait and see.
With less than 40% of GROC, there is no longer question of them funding all of GROC's development costs. But believe it is in GROC's interests that Alba be rated higher by the market than it is currently.
One reason that Alba spun off GROC as an independent entity was so that Alba wouldn't have to fund all the future development costs of GROC. IMO Alba will have their hands full with Clogau now that dewatering has been allowed.
But Alba IS invested in GROC. A higher valuation for Alba facilitates Alba's participation in any future GROC placings, should Alba wish to participate.
No, Groc isn't invested in Alba...
Alba closed yesterday showing considerable signs of life, up 18.8%, in good volume of 65.4m shares.
A more appropriate valuation for Alba should have positive implications for its major investment, GROC.

New research reports magnetic and electrical effects that suggest superconductivity.
Thanks for the link, Size of Acorns. I'm bemused at the continual fall in the s/p as we seem to be woefully undervalued right now.
Recent buyers paying 2.5p/2.6p are now very sore, one suspects some have sold out at a loss, the pre Xmas interview with the CEO was upbeat, his summery suggested it was a great time to buy GROC as he deemed the company to be materially undervalued based on expected developments.
As ever the current state of play on AIM, and in particular the resource sector, is dire to say the least. The market makers seem to take delight in marking down these illiquid plays on tiny sell volume but when buyers eventually come back they shut down online and make it nigh impossible to acquire stock, as a result those buyers move on and the status quo continues.
This process is becoming more the norm, it is almost like the market is rigged for short players to benefit.
DYOR etc.

Have to agree with you. This will drift lower and lower on no firm news. I’m waiting a week or two longer. Another 100k thrown in today at a loss. Stephan we need some news, any news will do but another month of this will drive good SH away
09:24: "We know there is a lot more graphite there".
The feasibility report for the processing plant may be published in May. This should provide major uplift to the figures of the PEA, which only reflected the mine.
Any link to a recording of the Master Investor webinar on 18th January?
Sentiment here is rock bottom. I reduced a lot and at a considerable loss but I'm not the only person who seems to have thrown in the towel. 364k sale today at 1.91p, maybe others will take advantage and think it's worth a punt at 2p levels

When I first stumbled across Groc about a year ago I couldn’t believe my luck. A ceo who had passion, drive, experience, and bags of local knowledge. What’s happened Stephan, the realisation that trying to get funding is like trying the get graphite out of rock beneath the sea in Greenland. I still believe in the dream but it’s got to fall a little more for me to at least break even for the silly 5p+ I paid last summer. What happened to ‘Greenland Graphite’. This share needs a serious dose of positivity or it’s doomed. Stephan, pull your finger out
Judging by the s/p reaction following the EV event, Stefan must have failed to inspire potential investors. Maybe just the opposite?
Indeed - what positive news can there be if they did a zero field season in Greenland?
I am a shareholder - but a deeply frustrated one that feels hard done by.... the only hope to my mind is if a larger decent company buys them out.
Hello JackS
Must admit it’s been very frustrating during the last year. I really thought this was a keeper but been in and out hoping for game changing news. What do we get a ridiculous raise at 2.5p that destroyed a weak 3.5p. That was the last straw for me. I’m currently out. I can see this drifting below 2p over the next few months as there’s not enough positive stories to keep this warm until May

At this price, the assets are ridiculously under valued.
The management have been hopeless about fast tracking these assets - have failed to raise money or do any of the right things over the past 18 months.. and frankly need replacing!
That is my 2,35 p worth!
250k is full 2.5p to buy but 150k is 2.36p so if you are going to buy some keep it to 150k or less and pay a way lower price atm
Wow somebody really took a hit there 500k+ at 2.21p, all those massive buys above 2.5p recently mm's certainly know how to make their money
Still printing them, where are they coming from, 500k delayed buy along with a 327k and I can still buy size well inside the spread
I've had another small top up - at these prices would seem a good buy.
