Could we be about to break the £1 barrier with the SP just bought into GO again as I think this could have a good potential over the next 12 months and looks very cheap compared to Money Supermarket
I see Tosca are building a stake here - recent buying at the end of Jan and this week has pushed their stake up to 19.37% now. Interesting that they are also building their stake in eSure this week to 17.1% (had been static since the end of November).
Good update this morning :)
Hi Lee. Back of fag packet comparison between goco. and mony. Got all my information from Halifax/Research. MONY. GOCO. M/cap. £1512.8m. £262.2m. Shares. 547.54m 417.91m Revenue £281.73m £118.90m Profit b/tax £79.80m £23,20m Debt. £55.95m £63m I realise a lot more of the fundamentals are required to make an in depth comparison between the two companies but I could not find a comprehensive set of figures for Goco as I assume they are enmeshed somewhere within Esure's final results. Draw your own conclusions about what I have posted. One interesting fact I've found while researching MONY. is their list of ii's contains some real heavy hitters holding decent percentages. That tells me there's ii interest in the sector. D.
Lee Confirmed in a few places that the company's total assets are £32 mill. Assume that means they don't own the Newport site, wishful thinking on my part !!!!!! Other comparison sites coming to market next year so maybe we've got a wee bit of a head start. Going to compare our fundamentals & market cap to moneysupermarket, although there much bigger than us i think it might an interesting exercise. D.
Fundamentals look solid to me too. Nice rise today, hopefully we have seen the bottom now. Let us know if you find out about the headquarters building will be interesting to know. All the best, Lee.
I think we should be okay in long run on here. Bit envious of your 61p entry mind you, I got mine through de merger with esure so lm nearer 81p than 61p. Should've dumped first day then bought back in when it settled. Figures look okay to me, only thing I couldn't find out is who owns the Welsh company headquarters building, read somewhere it was worth £190 mill. Will keep looking. D.
Thank you D. Brought in at just under 61 looks promising so far.
The information you require is available on the esure site in an RNS dated 13th Sept. 2015 titled " proposed de merger of gocompare" Only take a few minutes to retrieve what your looking for there. D.
Does anyone have a link to the fundamentals? What debt does the company have now? Thanks in advance. Lee
Increased trades today, some big buys going through. Bit of interest perhaps !!!! Hope so. D.
Director buys 36,903 shares, GOOD NEWS Yep you've guessed correctly price goes down. Now if she'd only buy another 36,903,000 we might see a slight rise. Just a wee bad joke. But the point is relative. D.
Cs. Things a bit quite here right enough, only 15mill. shares in total traded since day one so no massive accumulating or dumping going on. Supose we'll get the dreaded drip down till we get some news or rumour !!! Read somewhere goco going to expand the business abroad, apparently comparison sites are not as well developed or extensively used outside the UK. D.
After all the excitement, be nice to have a few encouraging words from the parents now the baby is born
First on the board... hobione ;-)
