I too was on M5/M6 yesterday, on my way back to Stockport from 2 weeks in Cornwall, and Thurs night at Bouton-on-the-water. Lucky to have had a holiday in present climate - GGP paid for the second week! Not seen that kind of traffic on M6 in months.
Thanks for all of your work on GGP - too many of us have had our fingers burned on other shares, and finally have found one that appears to be run by genuine business people with the golden touch.
Thank you very much poniexpress-t/c this morning- he is improving a bit. So glad I found this share.Wishing you all the best and to everyone.
I sold my shares over a two day period and have reaped my largest ever gain on a share. My decision was based purely on my own circumstances and assessment and in no way was I 'manipulated' by the market. Obviously, I accept some people may have been, but i'm sorry to say, that's just the way things work - it's a brutal world.
My decision may turn out to be a mistake, but the gain was so significant I simply couldn't risk it.
I wish all of you the very best of luck with your holdings. This has been a very special and unique ride.
Skintnurse,
Re PaddyGall 14.26 post on 8/9/2020.
Hope your terrier is improving.
Some humble words in your post, Paddy, and yes it's a shame some people were 'manipulated' and crumbled but unfortunately that's the pressure of the game in owning shares.
I for one am quite glad you never walked 3 years ago because you've are a stalwart on this board; and along with the other wise ones you have all provided many people information that has helped them stay the course and know their still on the right path to a wealthier future.
Thanks again.
Thanks Paddy.Do you know the time of the presentation please. I have not seen this.
I missed all the drama as slightly sick 8 yr old terrier turned into nearly croaked it dog saved by super vet and now in very expensive dog hospital on drip and anti biotics for weekend-I learned limited insurance really does mean limited-but if it has gone to 27 p - I need to read it all from yesterday to understand it-that will go a good way to paying for him( the increase worked out the exact amount in fact!!) when I eventually sell shares which will only be when prised from my reluctant hands at the very very end as I think it is so awesome in every way. Thank you Gervaise and Callum/ Thank you Paddy and all posters BW

Morning Joe & all,
Well that was a bit of an adrenaline filled day - I was on the drive home up the M6 when the market closed and basically missed all the shenanigans until I got home and eventually got to check on the closing price. I was a bit shell-shocked and to be honest although very happy for myself & family who are invested it felt a bit wrong after watching how it all unfolded.
I'm not an experienced investor but I've obviously done my research on GGP and was happy to hold purely on the strength of what we have at Havieron but I do feel for people who have been 'manipulated' by the market into selling at a loss. That was nearly me almost 3 years ago - tempted to cut and run after Newmont walked.
What happens with the SP now in the short term - I have no idea, but as I said yesterday the fundamentals haven't changed, the facts and data are there for everyone to see and IMO (and in GH's) we are only starting the journey and are still only scratching the surface, so I for one will be holding onto ALL my shares.
There is so much news to come in the next 5-6 weeks, you'd be mad to be out IMHO,
Enjoy the weekend everyone - don't forget to tune in to Sandeep's presentation on Monday

Joe - great post and thanks. Also thanks to the wise ones who have provided this board with valued information on GGP and shares owning in general.
Yes, I've done my own research but a lot of it is on the back of posts on here. I freely admit I still don't know enough about mining and geology and might never will, but at least I'm trying.
I'm still a novice in the share world and finance but have took enough advice from here and taken responsibility for my pension and finances and am now have a bit more money on paper than I did 4 months ago.
The past few days was a testing time and plenty crumbled. I had a bit of pressure from the wife, yesterday, because I persuaded her to put another £4k in her ISA on Wednesday to buy more GGP shares at 25p; But I told her yesterday morn that the dip was probably expected and the actual fact was she wasn't losing money, just that her investment value had changed for the amount of shares she owned.
I also reassured her that there was no panic as there is plenty more to come and we were standing firm and our investments will be well rewarded in the future - that was simply because I have the confidence and faith in my investment in GGP - and much of that is aided by the confident and honest members on here.
Thanks and good luck to all.
What a great post ..... I must say I did get nervous yesterday but held my ground. Lovely surprise when I logged in at 6.15pm after looking at a house. GLA for Monday
Life is like a compass.
When you set your goals correctly, it will take you in the right direction.
Sometimes life takes an unexpected wrong turn in the right direction.

In God we trust, in Gold we get rich, in the Market we get stiffed.
It's really hard to complain about yesterday, despite what you feel. You and only you made the decision to sell, despite all the warnings from myself and many other worldly posters here, Yawl had enough warnings. I said a number of times that the spivs will test your resolve yesterday. Yes its corrupt and unfair, so is life and every other situation that involves money, the Govt is complicit as are institutions, FSA, banks and high rollers. The only way you win is, stand by your conviction and don't give in.
The spivs would have a much harder job if YOU stand your ground, we all knew that 121 million buy was coming, we all knew the spivs needed to fill that order, we all knew what they would do to fill it, yes you did know because you were all told multiple times on here. A very costly and valuable lessen learned by many today, I hope it serves you well in the future, it will happen again and again.
A post was made late yesterday that presumed as to why there was no Scallywag update this week, all I can say is well done that man.
You must now remember, these guys dont fook around, they don't pay 27p on a whim or a risky gamble, thats an all time high sp for GGP. In there view, it's now completely derisked with substantial upside. They will expect a multibagger ROI.
Their due diligence will have cost a significant amount and I can garauntee this, they know a hell of a lot more about whats coming than even Paddy does. I bet they're not 6 weeks behind the drill news, as we are.
As for the broker updates, they now have a base to work from so expect updates in the region of 35 - 40p,,,, imminently.
Always reach for the stars guys and gals and if you fall just short, then you'll still be over the moon.
Good luck to one and all, this is NOW the beginning of something special.
Well done all who had the minerals to stay with it.
AIMHO.
