Lp-we also have to remember that whilst the software had to be upgraded there may well be a spec change to the test kit. All time and money..
Lp-the pilot phase sets the agenda for a product launch it basically sets the stage... its pre production, initially starts to establish what is actually needed. So from there on in production lines purpose built can be developed etc. So it's the start of the process...
I agree sadly reference the hearing test and sales and sadly think the NHS needs to start to get back on track with other health issues..I hope I'm wrong but seems so many have been forgotten.
I think they are about to surprise a few..I hope that I am correct. To me it has to be all about getting your ducks lined up and checked and double checked so that you are ready to roll as soon as permissions and the technical specs etc are signed off..they do not need production problems. This is what the share issue was for...
GLA
That's fair enough.
So, in your experience. Would the pilot phase that ran in the middle of May with Cytiva cover off all tech & capacity requirements? Reason i ask, is i am of the view that the RNS listed as hitting manufacturing milestones was GDR saying we are ready to rock, all manufacturing capability good to go for the second we receive CE Mark.
I personally do not see them achieving any sales with the hearing test this year going on existing capability showcased in commercialising an offering.
I know this might seem really negative but i do think GDR will come good, in time. I wouldn't remain invested if i didn't think there was serious room for growth. My expectations are just very low based on last few months.
Lp-I'm not interested in weight to my posts purely posting from knowledge gained managing a manufacturing Company. I was making comment regarding diagnostics and genetic testing particularly in regard to hearing...
LTH,
I 100% do not understand all the mechanics of the manufacturing process. However, i trust Cytivia very much do. And so i do not see this process is in anyway holding us back. They identified & aligned with this partner 4 months ago. I do not believe it is manufacturing holding us up. GDR shared a picture of the beads being manufactured in May so i'm not sure there is a restriction here. Equally we've been assured manufacturing is up to speed.. DB in Vox noted we were good to go and walbrook confirmed at a later date.
The process with Beckman where technical approvals are applicable is new. Bears no restriction on our supposed existing capability with Cytivia. So i don't think your point on the intricacies of the manufacturing process is valid.
It is simply approvals (which i appreciate is somewhat out of their control), and sales that are delaying our Rerate. And until they are delivered the SP ain't going nowhere near 150.
I am here for Covid as it is the most lucrative stream of revenue, anything outside of that is bonus. If you didn't invest here before February, i would think you are here primarily here for Covid also. And stating anything else is merely a smokescreen to gain weight to your posts.
Lp-speed is of the essence but getting it right for the longterm IS more important. It takes time to get a plant up and running and all technical approvals in place. With respect unless you've been involved in manufacturing I don't think you'd fully appreciate the intricacies. They need the right partners. Perhaps this is what they were searching for.
As I've said before this I appreciate that the Company is not all about Covid....

Weird...won't let less than sign..
Share Chat "less than" Share Trades SP UP - Good Volume
Share Chat
Definitely a correlation between the amount of chat on the BB and the SP
Share Chat > Share Trades SP DOWN
Share Chat=Share Trades SP DOWN

I'm looking at this as a good thing; as when there is volume it always trends upwards!!!
Just need to sit this beauty out and let the fruit ripen in the background; patience required and GLA
LP - it’s all speculation without insider knowledge.

Certainly. But that was pretty easy to deduce considering they released the software amendment 15 minutes after the trading update.
So an oversight from DB & team. Fair assumption?
Production capacity shouldn't be an issue as manufacturing partnership was agreed on May 1st. Snippet from the RNS below
'The PCR-based test has completed its pilot manufacturing runs and yielded high performing multiplexed assays for COVID-19 testing.'
Now I do entirely agree these things take time & of course they want to get everything in line prior to customer engagement. But we are in a very dynamic industry and speed is a key factor.
Outside of the Beckman partnership they've executed on nothing. Luckily, the Beckman opportunity is a cracker, at least at face value. But I'd argue caution in thinking that will provide millions in revenue in the short term. As the RNS states the intial focus is a single site. I do not know the robotic numbers or capacity capability of their site so unsure on potential figures for GDR.
Time will tell and I'm hopeful of some Africa sales soon given social interactions (but that's a loose thing to pin hopes to by my standards)
I see this dog is still dragging its ar se along the grass.
In some ways they have ended up with egg on their faces. After the suggestion in may that significant sales could happen in june we are now heading towards mid august with not a single recorded sale. Had the eu certification since may and not a single sale in europe. Seems there is no relationship happening with the uk government as not a single sale there when the UK really needs the test. India seem to be waiting for approval and it's not just gdr having issue with india approval or sales. No Fda approval yet, not even a date given as to when the fda application was submitted. Africa suppose to be a number of countries interested but again nothing has come of that now in over a month. The test may be good, it may be gold standard but it seems the company is still in its infancy of having the network to sell the product. Opportunity missed, they needed to be selling from june onwards... let's hope something turns up soon for gdr, the shareprice is holding up well considering no sales in 3 months since sales have been a possibility.
Lp-have you considered that after testing the software it wasn't up to scratch or the potential was more...they have to get the production capacity in place as its no good having a test that works and no infrastructure.
All the pieces of the operation have to be in place or they'll end up with egg on their faces!
PP - Facts are facts.
SNG not a fair comparison, treatment deserving of current Mcap considering the efficacy proven in covid patients.. we sell tests. but please post more speculation over the coming weeks.
Yours faithfully.
Circa 4m vol unaccounted for in past 3 weeks or so, but then again SNG had a large II selling up to the day before they went into orbit...
Personally, still very positive, when news comes, this will shift fast.
LP - last word of subject apt

Pretty easy to rationalise in my view.
BoD shared an expectation of sales at the end of June. It is now the 10th August with 0 paid for tests. And although approvals are no doubt closer than ever, are yet to come in.
Thanks PP,
As a PI, its hard to rationalise the reason why anyone is selling GDR stock right now, with so much Great News, and potential SP rise in the pipeline ? II targets, and cash flow/movement I guess, but really not sure ?
Yes dogdays, the same for most of us I am sure.
Even though, everything is falling in place for an amazing investment here, the build up is nerve racking.
GDR looks certain to be the share to be in right now, and in terms of time to wait, it s not too long now !
Most of my nervous energy is based around just how well the GDR SP is going too rocket ?
My best guess is it’s a delayed trade from yesterday’s close, so probably a sell - I’ve posted before about a mystery buyer or seller still in play.
There’s been multiple relatively large delayed trades for a while now, not on huge scale, but similar chunks per today, and no RNS to address - especially considering significant delayed vols few weeks back. Could just be PI’s, but I think potential II seller in play, and maybe even smaller II buyer in play too......
PP
Yeah my nerves could do without large sells at this stage!
Hi dogdays,
Google - LON: GDR shows an end of day price of 86.50 p, at 17:08 hrs, same price and time as the LSE last trade at 17.08 hrs of 40k shares, which is not unexpected.
It would be interesting to know whether this is someone buying or a seller ?
For some reason, I always prefer to see Large Buys, rather than Large Sells, LOL.
Can't help you with that one bigAl.
Does anyone know whether the 40K trade at 17:08 hrs today, at 86.50 p, is a Buy or a Sell ?
