In reality perhaps Roland was being shown around the mine.
Apparently Roland was on site today at the Omagh mine... Was he showing somebody around perhaps?
Cheers Gavster.... I really don't have a problem with that.
Is you issue with what has been reported in the newspaper, contradicting what Roland said in his statement, or just the fact that I highlighted it? I know this probably isn't what investors want to hear right now- but when it is revealed that there is truth in this, investors would have wished they knew sooner. Do you really think the newspaper would publish this if there was no substance to the article?
I think I'll put a block on your posts LK505, nothing of substance and your posting history simply tells all to ignore you on GAL.
Nothing shared of any substance, and RM posts something from 2019 that's already history, and we're way beyond that now.
Blasting agreement was reached in principle and work is back after break which coincided with the virus first wave.
Cheers all and GL.

Hi LK505. There is nothing online about this issue, or anything related comes up in a thorough google search. Please provide a link.
Thanks GL.
Outstanding issues remain between goldmine company and PSNI
Article in yesterdays Ulster Herald paints a different picture from Roland's recent statement, and things may not be as rosy as portrayed in the statement.
While Galantas said that an acceptable solution had been agreed in the issues for finances for blasting supervision, it seems that there will be a 'necessary outlay' and that a final agreement has not been reached.
To quote the Ulster Herald- "At the time. the PSNI's district commander for Fermanagh and Omagh, Clive Beatty, said it was reasonable to expect a commercial venture to contribute all or part of the policing costs where it was legitimate and proportionate to do so. In a statement, the PSNI confirmed that it has been in discussion with Galantas in recent weeks, but that final agreement 'had not yet been reached' in terms of how operational matter will be progressed."
Thanks for the update guys, back in the draw the with this one - sigh....
RM - Rolands' shareholding was before the share consolidation.
Seems to be heading in the right direction Gavster - Finally I should add. They key now is the JV or sale, it does not matter too much which way it goes as long as the value agreed for both is good for shareholders - and considering Roland is a very large shareholder one would hope it is. I am sure the recent underground drilling to firm up the data is key to the due diligence that is taking place.
Decent progress. Glad they are carrying on and getting revenues going. it's not good to be shown to need a sale.
New not showing up here or on their website so thought I'd share.
Link to it on the II site.

GALANTAS ANNOUNCES RESTART OF PROCESSING AND ANNOUNCES DELAY TO FINANCIAL STATEMENTS DUE TO COVID-19 RELATED MATTERS.
Date: May 28, 2020. Galantas Gold Corporation ("Galantas" or the "Company"), the AIM and TSXV quoted gold producer and explorer is pleased to announce that concentrate processing has recommenced at its 100% owned gold mine, near Omagh, Northern Ireland.
Staff operating the concentrate processing plant (mill) were earlier furloughed under a UK government grant scheme, regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. The Company carried out maintenance to the processing plant during the milling suspension, to minimise future maintenance interruptions. The restart follows a review of Northern Ireland / UK government health advice regarding Covid-19, a risk assessment and the introduction of appropriate modifications to working practices. Feedstock for the processing plant is from low grade stock until suitable arrangements are in place to recommence development underground.
Yes indeed- how things have changed since you checked last. Galantas went into 'freefall' mode and had to consolidate their shares in case they got delisted. Your previous 170 shares are now 17 in total.
Galantas have stopped production, but apparently will restart milling stockpiled low grade material tomorrow, to keep the 'money coming in'.... Should be interesting to see if this really happens... Roland will need to start delivering more than talk now.... Also hopes to restart blasting soon - but needs another 'cash transfusion' to do this.... not sure exactly what effect this will have on investors- perhaps possible dilution?? who knows, but not looking too healthy at present.
Also as per Rolands recent video no real news on the sales or JV prospects yet....
In the past week, nothing has really changed as such- just a rally in the share price sparked by 2 new promises.. looks as if the hype is settling again now, and people will expect to see results soon....
Hi All. I have received correspondence from Link Assets that i have 17 New Common Shares in GAL. I have held shares in this company for years and rarely keep tabs on it any more and I have read through quite a few postings below and have seen about the consolidation. So, it's probably a draft question but these 17 New Common Shares , are they new shares ti my additional holding or is it the case that shares from years ago are now diluted down to 17 due to the many consolidations that have taken place over the years (incl. the recent one)? Answers on a digital postcard :) Thanks and GLA with GAL.
can you even call it a 'promotional video'... ? no detail on the PSNI agreement- ie, how much will this cost the company? and no detail or even an estimate on how much financing will be required and the implications to shareholders? It's beginning to look like a marathon ahead of us here, and we're not even at the first mile marker..... we need some facts and details... A vision without a plan is just a dream- or for some of us already- a nightmare.
Excellent news. I for one will try to buy.
Good news. This may trigger some interest.

May 12, 2020 02:00 ET | Source: Galantas Gold Corporation
TORONTO, May 12, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Galantas Gold Corporation (“Galantas” or the "Company") (TSXV:GAL) (AIM:GAL), the AIM and TSXV quoted gold producer and explorer announces that it has agreed matters with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), regarding blasting at its 100% owned gold mine near Omagh, Northern Ireland.
Galantas earlier announced (April 2, 2020) that confirmation has been received from PSNI, in regard to satisfaction of certain secure storage and handling protocols required for an increase in blasting to a commercial level. Some other issues, regarding financial matters, were being progressed. The Company understands that financial matters have now been mutually agreed.
Staff operating the concentrate processing plant (mill) were earlier furloughed under a UK government grant scheme, regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. The company carried out maintenance to the processing plant during the milling suspension, to avoid future maintenance interruptions. The Company expects to re-start milling operations within the next ten days and will be working from a stock of low-grade material currently available. The Company will be applying Northern Ireland / UK government health advice and a risk assessment.
Certain underground work continues but ore production is suspended until finance is available to expand the underground operation. Pending resolution of the blasting issue, the workforce was reduced as earlier disclosed (October 29, 2019).
Discussions with a number of parties continue in terms of a corporate action involving a potential sale or joint venture. Due diligence materials continue to be processed.

Just been searching but only came up with things of interest and nothing conclusive. We'll find out.
Certainly Harry91's post should be dismissed. Only one post ever, todays. It could even be a disgruntled Mr Donnelly. You can check for yourself by emailing the company and it would certainly be in the accounts, but Mr Phelps is not taking such sums out of the company unless you actually believe that bot investor site simplywall.st.
This was the heading and the same guy responded with a letter to The Ulster Herald.

Something going on - no idea what but I am not going to complain about it !!
I regret buying these shares, I need 65p just to break even. also this company is not going to get the blasting permits they want. they certainly will not be allowed to store explosives on site. far too many republicans in the area, and it is certainly a position they can exploit to gain support in the area, plus the explosives prize. bascically the security bill will be too much for galantas to stomach. also I'm deeply suspicious of the quantity and quality of the vein, galantas has been scraping a million here and there to drive a huge access tunnel, why not start processing the vein to release cash flow, you can use hydraulic jack hammers, although obviously not ideal, it would help shore up the cash flow situation. if the shares get to 30p, I'm going to bail out. Roland is full of ****e, who draws a couple hundred thousand each year, regardless of results.
Let me know your thoughts when you have digested it Gavster - I have only skimmed it.
I presume it will be used to firm up some of the resource to assists in getting JV money in or a sale. Underground drilling at or close to the seam is the most highly valued & useful for resource estimates. Most of GAL's resources are in the inferred category so moving some to the measured and indicated will enhance the value of the company.
It also of course defines the parameters of the mine allowing mining to be more efficient with less waste.
Great.. Thanks for that !!
I got as far as the 'go and look on SEDAR' page of GAL's site, then gave up in favour of a nice cup of tea.
Now to read through it and look for the hints that there may be gold.
Hi Gavster,
It's on Gal's website - link below.
https://www.galantas.com/assets/cfb652cff9/FINAL-REPORT-ON-MINERALISATION-APRIL-28TH-v3.pdf
Excellent RNS.
Excellent RNS.
Like a riddle, "the results support a model that such zonal mineralisation may continue at depth".
What does it mean... Maybe it's a quest. Find the report first, and then look through it to find clues that suggest that there maybe more gold.
Step 1. Find the report. The SEDAR website was built in 1942 and nothing on Galantas website.

Still on step 1.
