I agree very poor a few days is one thing a month is irresponsible and will take a long time do undo the damage

It is bad enough going from 2 flights DAR-HRE-LUN-DAR to 1, but a total snub to the good people of Mbeya who may be weekly users of our service to go from a daily flight to no flights for 3 weeks. To expect them to return in the same numbers or more in 3 weeks time when we were to go to twice daily flights is unlikely in the extreme. We should have subbed the flight or something else. This bad timing breakdown will affect our reputation just when it was getting better.
Dar es Salaam: Team fastjet is looking forward to launching its new Embraer E190 fleet soon. The new, modern aircraft arrives in Tanzania this week and will await regulatory approvals after which its launch flight will take place. The aircraft replaces the Airbus A319 which has now gone out of service. The second Embraer E190 is expected toward mid-November. In-between the first flight of the new aircraft and the exit of the old, fastjet will be flying an interim schedule that impacts flights between Mbeya and Dar es Salaam.
Things seem to have got worse Mbeya will not restart until November,I really think that is poor and I assume that we have a problem with the E190 not arriving or crewetc
They are subbing as from tomorrow with the exception of Mbeya first E190 due to fly 16TH
Looks like it I don't understand why they don't wet lease a plane rather than not fly for 3 weeks
Monday flights DAR-HRE-LUN-DAR cancelled till 30th October. Also, Second Mbeya flight now does not start till 30th October. I do not know if this means we only get 1 E190 for 16th and the second at the end of the month ?
Really bad news and timing. Looks like Kili & Mwanza subbed but no flights to mbeya until 16th which will not help route growth at all. Also no flight to HRE-LUN till next Friday. I Feel our Social media feel good factor will take a hit.
FJD is dead, very sad, next Fjet flights 16 Oct when E190.s arrive Spoke with a passenger on flight he said crew were amazing, it was a full flight and engine apparently lost at cruising
She's had a good run , despite the chaos I still think Nico was right not to have a standby aircraft sitting around, way too expensive, I'm sure Fjet will be subbing their flights out hopefully minimise disruption, just hope they update their Facebook page and keep customer s INFORMED,
Looks horribly like that FJD is out of action for 2 days with no substitute. This was always a possibility with 1 aircraft doing all the work in 1 country. Shame any breakdown did not wait until we had 2 E190's to not cancel complete program. Still currently scheduled to fly late Monday evening Dar-HRE-LUN-DAR
There are no flights today or tomorrow it seems as all routes have sold out
Will not Impact the P&L . Will bridge the gap in the cashflow

All covered by the placing..
Fair point but there will be non flying set up costs such as premises, pre operational staff recruitment and training, marketing, licences etc. Plus lease costs will still be proportionately large.
Once again HRE to LUN has been removed from the booking schedule. I wish they would make up their mind and get approvals before letting people book.
before we connect the rest of our network to Mozambique as it seems from the start no-one can connect to our other destinations according to a facebook reply. Regarding Mozambique we will be announcing our route map soon but we will only being flying internally (domestic) within Mozambique.
Rufiji Not sure there will be huge costs we are only putting 1x E145 there from Solenta,I don't think our new management team are as recless as their predecessors. They will invest when there is a demand in Mozambique I expect us to get Bulawayo route up and running
I Wonder where FJI is as it is not in the picture parked up next to FJH
... and there are two! http://www.airfleets.net/flottecie/FastJet-planed-e190.htm
Fear not, the 'mark' on the noses is just fastenings or tapes; and there are protective covers to the engines also. I'm sure she will be lovely in service! https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vOI4REsG5w8/WdYELMpXMFI/AAAAAAAAJ7A/OSC6-QB4r3cYpxKVhJjP_Ki36WNKySi0wCLcBGAs/s1600/ndegez.jpeg
