And as the Well Slept range was deemed a success it was followed by this in Feb 21

These momentum’s seemed to have had s positive impact on the SP at the time.
What will Dec 21 TU bring?
This was last years Well Slept EVE range—
https://www.licensingsource.net/eve-brand-expands-into-boots-with-exclusive-well-slept-range/
I suspect from that award last week for licencing the 'Well Slept' range that the whole Boots thing last year was arranged by that third party via MDR. (Also, if it had been eve, I would have expected better cross-selling on the packaging.) With all those snouts in the trough in addition to the production costs, even a 'successful' Boots campaign might not have left enough for the parties (except Boots) to want to do it again.
That my take, so could well be wrong.
The waters have been muddied by the fact we were told the gifts at Boots went well, so we expected more – and we were told about CBD's 'arrival' in advance. So if they decided to row back on the CBD, where are the gifts.. which brings us back to they – gifts and / or CBD – could still possibly be on the agenda?
Maybe Xmas gifts just don't make that much cash (as wyn said) for the effort involved?
Could possibly be a good sign that they need the Boots' publicity less these days...
The advert that appeared above his thread just now was entitled 'control your grass weeds'.
I tend to agree that CBD oil isn't necessarily approved by a significant section of the eve target base and wouldn't mind if it never happened.
Regarding advertising, I thought I'd seen a lot more Internet advertising, especially on the 'eve sleep' keyword on Google. Hope it isn't one of the new recruits naievely ****ing away a PPC budget.
CBD - cannabis related drug - horrific that EVE should be associated with a product of this sort. Bad PR in my opinion.
Dropping the kids at the swimming pool last Thursday and someone going to Dubai for half term was laughingly advised "don't take any cannabis oil" by another parent. Maybe CC doesn't want a customer arrested. Wouldn't be the best PR.

Billy Hood: Man sentenced to 25 years in Dubai over cannabis oil 'hoping and praying' for release
Billy Hood, 24, from Kensington, London, was working as a football coach in the UAE country when police discovered four small bottles of CBD oil and a vape pen in his car and arrested him on 31 January.
DGU: the only thought I had at the time and this is very much me as a person, is that I would not want cannabis oil wafting around the bedroom. I think cannabis as a drug is more addictive and harmful than generally portrayed and am genuinely aghast at the push to legalise it.
Right, so that me, its just my view as an old fogey.
Why i think it might be relevant is because CC has moved away from internet advertising and concentrating more on the "old" TV format. Why? Maybe because the EVE demographics is more my age group than the 20-40 age group and I still watch TV and don't smoke spliffs.
Therefore rightly or wrongly, i associate Cannabis oil with Spliffs and its not for me, so maybe the link is not as good for EVE as it initially looked when we had all the hoopla of the original announcement.
(Just exploring that if I am maybe a typical EVE customer then maybe there are other EVE customers with the same view?)
It would not stop me buying (and indeed it did not), but if over time, EVE became closely associated with CBD then maybe it could have an effect on public perception? Just my initial musings. (Probably a lot of old rubbish!)
You have a point Dontgive. Equally, there's a share I'm in and it used to be the case that whenever there was – finally – any news in an RNS, the sp would fall!
When EVE or any company provide an RNS announcement such as a licensing deal made to launch CBD products and then later follow up with a date for its launch eg Sept 21 - which passes with muted silence - it this acceptable behaviour by a company.
It could be concluded that as the initial announcement of the CBD deal appearEd to create a share price rise at the time to 9p ish — then investors are likely to have bought in on this news. Patiently waiting for this news to become reality - then silence - maybe EVE have a reason for withholding information at this time but it seems shameful behaviour not to keep shareholders in the loop?
Any opinions?
Inchpo, below 3p is a free top up for me. This is the bottom.
Those of you who keep topping up on a falling market need to remind themselves how much a million times nothing
is equal to.
everything about this share can be summed up in one word - RUBBISH !!!
I have never known so many false dawns. Despite regular TU's can any of us claim to know what is REALLY going on.
What I have seen of CC has never inspired me with confidence - the Eve equivalent of Pritti Patel perhaps ?
One step forward, two steps back over the past week - don't be surprised to see 2p on the horizon soon.
I do think we might be due some kind of news quite soon. CBD, or gifts, but Christmas is probably not something they doing now. CC does like to surprise us. Perhaps getting a bit overdue for that when last year’s Boots deal was announced much earlier than now. Maybe they will save news for when they announce the next TU (and give a mini TU at the same time, as they did last December).
It would be nice to know what has happened to the CBD licensing deal. The RNS dated 16th July told us that this was to be launched in September. I know this isn't going to be the biggest money earner but it would help to put cash in the bank with minimal risk.
An RNS update would be good to help explain the delay.
