Many thanks
corporately we are actively involved in a number of initiatives that we believe could potentially lead to a major value event for all Europa Metals shareholders.
So corporately means other business's, investors, local authorities etc not what is in the results!
Highside - in the half year results end of March 2021
At the time of writing, further drilling is underway at the Toral project to form the basis of a Pre-Feasibility Study ("PFS") whilst corporately we are actively involved in a number of initiatives that we believe could potentially lead to a major value event for all Europa Metals shareholders. Further updates will be made as and when appropriate.
Can someone please give me the date of the RNS that refers to a "value event" please ?
I’m with you on that.
Myfirstmillion, I was going to keep away from this BB but your post is spot on and people need to read it. LR needs to read it. The value event will make us or break us and LR and AH need to turn this into reality after dangling the carrot.
Moneymakers, you need to be very careful what you say. Your continued, almost manic, daily ramping might be misconstrued and given some credence by the uneducated.
@antharry it does also say
The grants awarded in this program will be compatible with other grants awarded for the same purpose, provided that they meet the conditions established in article 17 of RD 263/2019, of April 12.
They did state last year that other grants will be available. There could be more from other areas but 1-3 million euros will cover the PFS don't forget Iberdrola have applied for a massive fund
https://www.reuters.com/article/spain-iberdrola-floating-wind-idUSL8N2KM30B
IMO Shareholder event still on until we get to August no worries at all as we cant raise until then. IMO all the ducks aligning Results Due and full PFS. Wardell Armstrong would not have taken us on without finance why would you take a company on who cant pay you for your time ??? What business would do this?
There would be NO guarantee of a full raise if you diluted shareholders therefore i believe the final deal is being done EU funding will be here and there is a shareholder event. Think about it logically.
‘Value event’ - a euphemism for a forthcoming dilution.
No one taking the bait from the EMEA... you have to surely lie the blame for that with the directors and their ability or lack of to sell the story of Toral in a way that gets people excited.
I said years ago LR is a technical man and he loves the technical side of mining. That's great in moving all the technical aspects along but as we've seen over the years it does bugger all for the shareprice and doesn't inspire anyone.
As an AIM mining director you need to wear many hats. Yes you need the interest and ability to understand and pursue the technical goals but you also need to manage the newsflow, manage expectations, keep investors interested and excited in order to manage the shareprice and be able to sell the story to bigger investors.
I don't doubt LR's technical nouse but in other areas he definitely is lacking. This 'value event' was another mistake, made by MC apparently but allowed to go into the rns by LR. Now all we hear every day, quite naturally is 'where is the value event'.
If it doesn't turn up and we have to raise cash in the markets again at any price let alone at the current price investor confidence will be destroyed for good. I sincerely hope that scenario doesn't materialise.
That’s significant Money…..imo….why would the DG be at Toral for any other reason other than part of the verification process in the grant issuing criteria or standards?
Also who did they get special permission from to post that….LSE ?
Splendid riposte, Shed :-)
Has anyone had time to look at the Director of mines

Closing date 30th June 2021....i have been saying July :) :) :)
The difference being there is still a chance it might exist.
What value-event? It’s as rare as this Tory government’s penchant for the truth.
I see what you're getting at CHRI5P, I also think because we're so low it's possible that bigger money doesn't need to risk at these levels. There are likely to be lower risk opportunities to invest in the future with lower reward but much greater certainty. Just a theory that I've mulled over in the past.
Shed institutions will not buy on the open market for a £5, million company but they might take part in funding or a placing.
So yes if PI's lose faith then the SP will fall but this is exactly why you have AIM shares rise 4 fold in a week. PI's jump in and out where has II's take a longer view. A company can be worth £5,million one day and £20 million a week later and then PI's really come out of the woodwork. We need some value event news and lets hope the assay results give that.
On the plus side - a nice Tweet of another site visit - does look significant.
I have to admit to being slightly concerned at the apparent zero rate of success from the EMEA events and analysts day. If they couldn't convince a single new institution to have a reportable nibble then we do have to ask ourselves why. Are we simply unable to turn their heads from what are perceived as hotter metals currently than Pb/Zn? Is the LOM a concern as we currently don't have the cash to prove what almost certainly lies beneath? Sorry I know I bang on about this but is the incomplete picture on deleterious elements putting off the big boys? I'm only guessing but something on the scales of risk / reward is preventing them wading in at this juncture. LR has often commented that industry contacts tell him they can't believe our mcap is so low so how come mining funds don't see this as an amazing opportunity? Sometimes I think I must be missing something because going back over my earlier points we know Zn will have a massive role to play in the electric revolution, lead will be a steady performer with its unique characteristics for construction etc, plus the silver speaks for itself. Re. LOM there is no logical way that the high grade thrusting shoots are going to magically disappear at depth. That just leaves impurities and the fact is after almost two years of metallurgy we still don't know what they are, could that be the critical uncertainty?
@trader…JSE is being manipulated by a single trader buying and selling to himself to bring the price down so he can load up….this I can assure you….don’t be fooled by these tactics.
That's true ant. I think Lynchwood Nominees contain DB's holdings and I'm guessing the Directors must be in Jim Nominees. If that is the case then I don't think CB can have sold since he resigned as their % has actually risen since Aug 2020.
What worries me the most is that is absolute no interest. JSE down 18% yesterday and my share account down R20k. All that tells me is that the handful current investors are busy selling as well. Say what you will about trusting EUZ and LR, it is not looking good with virtually no news and the drop in share price. Personally, I am very worried.
Anyway, let's hope we're on the verge of greatness hey? Got to keep postive as I agree with you all, big news is coming!
In a way I agree but we have one significant shareholder which is DBA. Do you mean them? Mining companies needing funding is a way of life, you have to spend to develop a quality asset. DBA will expect another call at some stage and will have factored it into their investment thesis. Other top shareholders are Hargreaves Lansdown and interactive investor so likely individuals.
What I have a problem with is a potential non pre-emptive placing where only 'wealthy' people would be invited to invest. In a lot of cases, these individuals don't care much about the long term story and will likely flip for a small profit creating another 6 month plus drag on the share price. Investor confidence is eroded in these instances so it's a vicious cycle and It's simply not in the interest of long term shareholders, unless we too are invited to participate.
Equally, strategically fundraising after a period of good work and significant progress/de-risking of the asset, when the share price is likely high would be in the interest of long term holders as you minimise dilution and get much needed cash in the company.
It's in times like this I hope a representative from Europa monitors these boards and takes shareholders' views on board
