My limited experience of bidding wars have led me to this conclusion. If the item in question has current value and more importantly future value and growth potential then offer the max you can afford and not the most that you think will secure the deal. There’s nothing worse that losing a one off £250000 deal because you held back £3000. Of course, this is based in sealed bids in the housing market so probably same concept, different rules, but in essence, it should mean more of the filthy lucre for us! Gla!!
Banks ..and we are talking big banks and clients with lots of dollars..
This is really gonna hot up very soon...any other bids..you bet there are :-)))
You've been in more bidding wars than me pompey lol.
It's all very new to me, just a case of trying to figure out exactly what's going on tbh. Multiple banks working on a success fee basis leads to a scenario where they have to be very confident to execute something.
GLA
VTB are still very much there, an engagement letter hasn't been signed yet. We could get news on a engagement letter with them shortly if their clients want a pop at securing what eurasia have -
"Eurasia's relationship with VTB Capital continues to be as previously announced on 25 November 2019."
GLA
Ideally vtb engagement, flaps, first bid, counter bid, deal. Then I can celebrate with a nice cup of tea some time in Aug / Sep.
Mac..was just thinking along those lines..is it closed bidding for now. .?..and once bids are in
will they be seen by all leading to bidding war? No idea myself..only been in a bidding war for
a house in the seventies..I won....another winner here methinks..pompey
I'm leaning towards a VTB engagement letter signature confirming a potential consortium vs consortium bidding war, what do others think?. USB being the third party middle guy with VTB and Citic Merchant bringing their bidding clients.
GLA
agreed Mac
citic letter signed looks like China but as we all know nn will be standing there ground , could be multiple parties doing a jv ??
exciting few weeks ahead ! gla
MMs??
they may try but demand is demand.. and demand shouldve forced the price up higher
And as was commented earlier who else has a share of Monetechundra??
Off outside toodles?
I expected them to sell MT and then move on to volchetundra, prove and sell that also. They did other exploration in the urals also.
They've done that much previous exploration that it just keeps you guessing as to what they're precisely wanting to do with the eurasia vehicle, all makes for an exciting investment tbh.
As i've previously stated on here, when i found them they were a minnow with a majors exploration data, and in mining exploration data is worth its weight in gold.
GLA
Good point a lot of people forget about Volchentundra which has the potential to be a monster in itself.
Would like to know
1. Have Eurasia reapplied for the Licence for the Volchetundra Project ?
2. What was the value for the basket of metals from last year which were still awaiting to be tallied?,
There were hints made in the various interviews about the RHODIUM (is the concentration higher than expected?)
Minor the best bit about that report highlights the potential 40M oz IN ADDITION to the 15M oz. Wow
The total potential resources in the Russian Cadastre breaks down as:
· c.15M oz of PGM within the Flanks application for which the Company has exclusive rights, and inclusive of the Company's c.2M oz reserve and resource (A below).
· c.4M oz (in addition to the above c.15M oz of PGM also within 5Km) neighbouring the Monchetundra Project and within 5Km (B).
Norilsk are also well known for bidding way over the top..''
Indeed when the Russians took back an oil asset in Sakhalin years ago amid the wailing from the 'west' BP (or Shell?) were given a very fair & decent price for the asset.
Russia could gain a lot from the success from EUA regards the need for future investment.
But my query is , re ACFs report why isnt the price 30p.. NOW?
Well depending on what they may be will is another question mark.. But I think we all remember Lady Ts biggest mistake was letting the market help themselves to our N Sea oil and they took the money & left... whereas the Norwegians built up a huge sovereign fund from their asset?
Norilsk are also well known for bidding way over the top if needed, so a consortium that involves them on the other side of the fence could fetch a final bidding price way beyond what most expect.
GLA
Mining royalties.
The chinese are well known for paying over the odds to get a hold of what they need hazel. Engagement letter signed with citic merchant does make you think something is definitely going to appear on the table from a chinese side.
GLA
And incidentally I still hold 600,000 EUA shares and bought another 200 Norilsk yesterday
It depends on how much they were offering.''
Quite
But whats in it for the Russians?
It depends on how much they were offering.
If you found a load of palladium in your back garden ... would you let the neighbours in?
British bulls business model is just based on past SP performance a big flaw ...''
yes and as i have said their opinion could change monday evening..
The Russian state may be moving to secure all palladium resources in the area via the consortium.
What could the figures be if they have to bid against a chinese lead consortium to secure MT at this stage?
Pretty mind boggling.
GLA
British bulls business model is just based on past SP performance a big flaw in this case with the EUA currently in negotiations
