I've noticed especially on the Telegram group there are suddenly a lot of derampers who give the impression they know what they're talking about. Saying 50p is a good deal.
Do your research, ignore everything else. Hold firm until the end. We're in the 7th innings now.
I'm still saying £1.50, because I've done my research.
All the best all and have a great weekend.
I've no view on a potential sale price, since i don't have the expertise.
Certainly a whole range of prices (many guesses) doing the rounds.
However, virtually all of us on here, aren't even a drop in the EUA ocean.
As such, we won't influence the sales price at all.
It will be agreed upstairs in the boardroom., once acceptable to the big players.
We will just be presented with it. We won't even have a vote in it, since our holdings are insignificant.
So, sit back and enjoy it unfolding, and wait to be told how much your shares are being sold for
If and when we do get an offer, will it be detailed or just the actual price? Asking for a friend, well, rowka.
I fully agree with this, word for word.
Dmitry knows what he wants. He isn't going to fold.
#EUA hold all the cards here.
Quick question folks- I got banned 2 days ago from here for what I can see is reasonable banter- no swear words or Abusive language-if you remember the thread was on newbies- to be honest I get a bit fed up when the single digit brigade all pounce (spookily at the same time) asking the same stupid questions like “so can anyone tell me what this could sell for”.
So in my annoyance I could have been a bit sarcastic and along the way I could offend a genuine shareholder ( never my intention). My question is did I get banned from just one objector and how could I appeal- very frustrating at the time.
i would shat my pants if anybody offered 30/50% of in ground value
that is just blatant rubbish
Gecko and London. Agreed, i would include Dmitry as (probably) the biggest hitter. However, he'll be tempered by UBS. They are now holding the reins, and will decide what's good for him, the company, and of course themselves.
Us, little minnows will just get swept along in the exhaust fumes.
we can bang on for ages about this price, that price. It will be decided for, or even despite, us!!
Smiler. Just accept it, and move on. It aint worth it. You're back on here, now.
Cheers selecta- wise words but just a bit frustrating that’s all.
My only panic was a big RNS coming in and I couldn’t join in on the celebrations.
I feel a big week coming. Gla
To production or sale was always my plan, i've not top sliced a single share, they are all here for the swansong.
Every day is a day closer, and because of Raharh, we all have a good idea of where we could currently be in all of this -
"mac - i agree in part with you. Having been involved in a four way sale of a company (to private equity - not public listed) that sold for just over £1bn we had a formal 12 week process that was run by the M&A bank. The fireside chats were happening long before that (3 months or so) lining up PE houses, so they came warm to the table.
The process basically ran as a two week entry process (we had 9 involved) with NDAs and access to data room before initial offers were put in. Anyone below 900m were rejected and we went down to 5. Then we had full day presentations from the BoD to the PE houses that were scheduled in the same week (5 days of my life I will never get back) - one dropped out and did not attend.
From week 5 onwards it was DD and loads of questions.
Closing offers were due by week 10, however one of the PE houses broke rank in week 8 and put a number on the table that the BoD and the current PE house were happy with and the process was abruptly ended much to the dismay of some of the other bidders - but the new PE house got in there with an offer that was above the target sale and sufficient enough to do the deal.
I have a twelve week window in my mind from 1st July but now we are in week 6 onwards, for me we are in the heat of the battle now if there are multiple bidders.
All I am saying is that if someone really wants it and does not want the bidding war an offer could land that sets them apart and basically shuts the process down - which is why it could happen at any time."

Smiler888, I think if (should really say when - but edging caution here) the big RNS hits it may be quite quiet on here as everyone will be too busy opening bottles of Moet. I know I will be.
Best of luck to you and every one of us holders.
A question that has probably been answered before. If so then I apologise.
Let's say that EUA get a final offer which they accept.
What is the timeline regarding the shares that you hold?
Are they suspended when the offer is accepted.
When the offer is accepted, how long does it take to appear in your share holding account?
Thank you.
Good question. I am interested in people’s reply too.
If an offer is made that is acceptable to the BOD then this will be announced by a RNS. it is unlikely that the shares will be suspended because of a firm offer. The shares should re-rate to close to the offer price. This gives shareholders the chance to sell out earlier than waiting for the final transaction. The offer will need to be put to the shareholders to vote to accept/reject. A timescale for the deal to go through will also be announced. I had shares in Low & Bonar last year that went through a sale in September 2019 & the deal was finalised in April 2020 from memory. Sirius Minerals wasa lot quicker, but if people recall, this still didn't suspend after the deal was announced.
This is all just from personal knowledge. Each deal will be different.
10 to 15% if we are lucky
5 - 10% consider 10% a great result.
Couple of points;
Gecko, nail on the head there sir! Londontown, was that a baseball reference? It’s just not cricket!
Finally, look at how heavily the BOD are invested. This is a life’s work for some of them, they are not playing softball.... (apologies Londontown).
