well i thought it was a solid report. excellent progress on all fronts.
test
unless there is a new futures market nobody told me about, i can only assume LSE forgot to put their clocks forward
Yes - and look at the chart for the year... 7p to now 30p... nice returns for those in early... Under the radar here imo
RNS sounds great for this company
Why is there no chat here? Price now almost back to 20p Iv'e been her from the old A.F.Bulgin days and seen this share from 1p to 50p so is this going back to those days? Hope so
yep!
Nice to see at last some positive movement here. Will it go back to 20?
These guys really taking a pounding at the moment - where does it go from here?
GW - did you your digging turn up anything valuable?
A few too many very similar products in the Check-it space for me to back this as the next best thing. check-it did £200K of revenue in 2015 out of their total £44M (which declined year over year)
Cheers graham. Will have a proper look next week
Last year they rurned down a takeover offer which they felt was too low, they are now concentrating on a product called checkit which tells food suppliers the state of food items so as to prevent it going off. It all depends on this product being a success as to which way the company will go.
fill me in on key events would you?
Wonder if they have another offer coming in or that checkit thing is taking off.
Quiet board. Moving in right direction again.
Done quite a bit of research here and think things are about to turn round for this company. Have fingers in quite a few pies and with debt reducing substantially going in the right direction. Will do se more research and post when possible
I take it someone has got wind of good news.
Yes - a shame when that happens. The product portfolio and how it all comes together in a cohesive offering wasn't always clear to me - I was expecting some of the products businesses to be off loaded at some point if they weren't core - but I think they tried that with some items??
It's very sad, this used to be an excellent company until they took over a failing company, the rest is history!
Anything happening with this company? I used to track them, but lost interest.
With the AGM approaching, I wonder if there is any point turning up for it. If it is like last years AGM it will consist of the management ignoring any concerns/issues raised. Considering the state this company is in now, do people have any confidence in the management and therefore a proper AGM any more?
An enraged investor has launched a legal attack on Elektron Technology, the small-cap engineering systems developer, after accusing its directors of mismanaging the company. Barrie Bridge, a 63-year old semi-retired interior decorator, launched a “derivative claim” against six current and former directors of the company. Mr Bridge, who owns around 3% of Elektron shares, is seeking permission in the High Court to pursue the action to recover £2m in funds from the directors on behalf of the company. – The Times
why would the directors want to sell the co shares @ circa .05 when the have 30% of the shares which has cost them well over 10p if you check the directors trades that will tell you the answer FT ps no longer a holder
what's even more comical is microgen's offer f!!!! wow what an insult. nice to know elektrron gets some things right (like the bleedin obvious). no idea why microgen keep banging on about it as if they are being hard done by...why don't they just p***off? burglers only announce their arrival if they are brain damaged!!
