We can't go out because its raining.
It's always raining with EDL.
Yes it doesn't make sense already too wet to get it wet??
So, they can't wash it because it's too WET!!!
".....but this stockpiled ROM coal has proven difficult to wash due to its moisture content"
Seems more cobwebs are being revealed from the previous management. IMHO, better to get all this out in the open and resolved and then make a fresh start. The alternative isn't appealing.
Would love to know how much actual coal is being stockpiled versus the coal fines... The contract for 2k/month is from June.
With only one trade showing so far today, clearly the update wasn't the make or break of the company.
We live to fight another day.
The trouble with this company is they don’t make coal when the sun shines ! It’s been like in continuous rain for 14 years . Just give up and admit you lost board ! Saying that they’ve been living off share holders for all these years !
I wonder what the next target date is for production to pick up, several months?????
2k tonnes when they as yet can't manage 1k in 3 months!
The only ray of hope that I can see is that the major holders aren't selling.
What a fiasco the previous 14 or so years have been.
In 3 months I could have dug out as many tons with a pick & shovel and moved it with a wheelbarrow !
35,000 dumped and Edenville goes red and still no RNS. Is this just a lifestyle company now? So many people have tried to make this work but still we sit at 6.875p.
Perhaps there is life in the old dog yet. GLA
Maybe I should post everyday if it goes up when I post - lol.
So from the 9th Feb RNS, (and please feel free to use this as a template for your next RNS)
Discussions regarding the previously announced sale of 1,500 tonnes per month of fines remain ongoing. - So what are the results of that discussion?
The subsequent production of washed coal is expected to be reduced for as long as the rains continue - Have the rains finished and production ramped up?
The Company is also investigating the costings and lead time for an additional wash plant at Rukwa, - what is the result of these investigations?
the Company continues to explore further opportunities in the Tanzanian coal market as they are presented. - So what is the result of exploring opportunities?
Edenville is advised that the courts in Tanzania will address at a hearing in February 2023 - and still they sit silent with the results of the court case???!!!????
£180,000, to be recouped following an earlier aborted acquisition process. - Have they got our money back yet, the silence suggests no.
6th Dec 2022 RNS
While the tendering process for the appointment of a contract miner is ongoing, - Surely they must have selected a company by now?
Well over 10 years. Probably closer to 13 years I'd say
Sausage, how long u been in this stock? R u one of those long suffering investors in this share?
We should be getting the results of the dispute with Upendo plus the Environ refund this month.
April/May whether or not we are fulfilling contracts and able to increase production to more than 2k tpm.
I think crossed fingers have now fused together.
Can only see the dumping continuing in the morning, with any luck this will go so low the Twitterarti will feel sorry for us and run a pump and dump for a few days
Agree, the next placing can only be a matter of weeks away, remembering "coming weeks" actually means to Edenville at least 4 months lol
"Arrangement with contract miner
The Company has been advised that due to the need to undertake a tender process for the engagement of a local contract mine operator, the Company has temporarily suspended the previously announced arrangement with the local operator, as announced on 16 August 2022. This will now enable the Company to receive all of the proceeds of coal sales, until such time as a tendering process has been concluded in the coming weeks"
Coming weeks!!! FFS. Coming up to 4 months without news on who will run the mine in the long run. Ridiculous.
Placing more like - how long will that £400k from December last us? Four months? The £180k from Environ (if we ever get that paid back....) covers us for a couple of months tops. And then there's a few '000 of legal costs bolted into our P&L at the moment. I suspect cash is very, very tight.
We're due some sort of update on Upendo shortly
"Edenville is advised that the courts in Tanzania will address at a hearing in February 2023 the Company's claim for the reversal of the transfer of Upendo Group Ltd.'s 10% economic interest in the local joint venture, which holds the licences governing the Rukwa project, to a 10% direct holding on the principal production licence. A further update will be provided in due course. Based on legal advice received, the Company confirms that the claim is being robustly defended."
I default back to my views a few weeks back - the talk of a second wash plant is either coming from a BoD out of their depth or a BoD taking investors for fools.
GLA
History repeating itself, surely not Rufus Short back at the helm. Please God no.
History will repeat itself
Low price for a lump of 50,000, highest Bid paid for 219 shares.
You kinda get the feeling even the mm don't want these shares!!!
Que sera, sera Sausage.
But what worries me more is the Bid price of that sell this morning - 6.30p?!!
Did I say 5p?
How the hell is this dog of a company still trading , it should have been put down years ago ! Total life style for the directors ! Which we’ve all paid for over the past twelve years or so !
EDL is so dead , even the tumbleweed has turned to dust !
