Bit slow weren't they but sounds like a good production. Now what about the takeover/non-takeover ?
DQ Entertainment PLC DQE Partnership Agreement Print Alert TIDMDQE RNS Number : 6837B DQ Entertainment PLC 08 October 2015 Immediate Release 8 October 2015 DQ Entertainment PLC ("DQE" or the "Company") DQ Entertainment and Method Animation partner to co-produce 52x11' CGI TV series "5 & IT" DQ Entertainment plc, a global entertainment production and distribution company focused on children's and family animation content, announces that it has entered into an agreement with Method Animation to produce the CGI TV series '5 & IT', a modern adaption of the well-known book,"5 Children & It", by Edith Nesbit. This project is being co-produced with Disney Channel Germany and supported by Noga, Israel. Disney Channel France has pre-acquired the show. This TV series has received interest from broadcasters and licensing agents globally, and it will be available for broadcast by mid-2017. Ralf Gerhardt, Executive Programming Director & Deputy General Manager Disney Channels, The Walt Disney Company GSA said "We are very pleased to co-produce the new animated series '5&IT' together with DQE and to deliver creative input. The new series will fit perfectly in the Disney Channel line-up for a young audience and is in line with Disney's rich heritage of creative storytelling, with a new look, and great animation. Our main-character, Psammead, steals the show as a sand fairy with an attitude, and we are certain that audiences will love him." "We are very proud to enter this new adventure with our historical partner DQ. After Robin Hood and Peter Pan, Method Animation is enchanted to revisit another great classic." said Aton Soumache, CEO of Method Animation. Tapaas Chakravarti, Chairman and CEO, DQE, said "This 52 episode CGI series will be a fun roller coaster of adventures as the children learn to deal with the consequences of their often irrational wishes. Sorry, not been looking in recently. We're all waiting for this EGM news now because then we should find out whether it's 'takeover time' or not. Certainly something brewing ever since Corp. Computer Serv. suddenly took 29% back in April/May.

UP 14% UK MARKET TO CATCH ON !!
Any day now !!
on the cards, Looking at 9p+
There is less than 12 mil of shares in free float that's if they have not been buying more .think it will be a buy out at a good price . I'm hoping for around 15 to 20 maybe more lol
Will take a punt in the morning , hope I can grab a few before the anticipated rise ...
could it be taken over ?! .......
That has not yet been determined. Can't make my mind on this takeover idea. Looks like a lot of trouble getting your Computer Services buddies to buy up 29% to push your (Platinum consulting) combined total over 51% just to get a good say on the Board. Platinum, I think, have been invested a while but Corp. Computer Serv. are just since April. Spoke to Advisors Buchanan and Nomad Alex Brearley at Allenby. Nothing really disclose or new to report. Alex states the 'Blue Book' on takeovers covered by I-of-Man and the UK is about 100 pages long and wouldn't commit to 'if a Concert party holds over 30% they must make an offer for the whole company'. However, I believe that to be the case. The letter regarding a PURPORTED requisition for EGM is just using the word PURPORTED as that is standard legal jargon at this stage until the letter's contents are validated. Looks to me like we will hear from DQE fairly quickly as they will have a bit of work to do before such a meeting(circulars, etc) and they have no case I can see to deny one. I'm leaning to a takeover at about 9p in the offing. My average is 10p but beggars can't be choosers - if anyone's got a much higher average it might be prudent to average down while one still can DYOR etc.
Depends whether the concert party are passive or aggressive. It may be that they like the prospects of the company, have built up a big stake, and would like to have some representation on the board. However, by calling an EGM, it would appear to me that they are adopting an aggressive attitude, and perhaps are trying to protect their investment. The concert party will be able to use their collective vote to push through changes, and given that current shareholders are hardly enamoured with the current performance, I don't think it will be too difficult to "parachute" themselves in. Existing shareholders will just have to hope that a new board will be able to achieve a better result than the incumbents.
15p on the cards , market capital too low
Top of the channel at 16p from memory
Buying out the remaining shares is the cheaper side of taking over DQE. (Using simple numbers) Taking out the Bondholder would be in the region of £40 million ($50m + 25%). On the basis of the Bondholdings convertible option (albeit at 5 years out) the breakeven share price works out at about 50p, though I'd have thought the investor would be expecting a rather better performance/return than that. So, what would be an acceptable offer? 9p would be derisory, I would be expecting between 20p and 50p (£5m to £12m). Is Dqe worth this? I think so, simply on future licensing revenue streams on existing IP. Is it normal to request places on the Board if your intention is to take a 100% shareholding? Uncertain as to what the 'concert' parties intentions are just yet. Any thoughts?
Hi, can't seem to open the link, what does it say, good or bad?

The rotation of stock continues, as punters take their penny profit (or loss), and move on. With only 27.13 million shares outside of the concert parties hands, it is inevitable that there will be wild gyrations in the SP. Of that 27m shares, 12.77m are in the hands of Ferlim Noms, and Flordia Props. Of course, they could be supplying stock to the market, but if not the we get down to less than 15m of freely traded stock. If some of the recent activity is going into firm hands, rather than day-traders, it could get very tight.
on for nearly half an hour now, when will they let you buy?
