Good to see the Board investing in additional product portfolios. No doubt there will be more divestments in the Bayer Elanco merger.
Strong fundamentals for this company....we love our pets and private healthcare for them is only going to expand....
Dechra expanded into an additional office building, in Northwich last year. Nice bold move, signalling their intentions to expand. This is a nice stock to have in your portfolio.
Small but steady rise, I'm glad I put a good chunk here, much less stressful than AIM and small caps...

Another Derailed Brexit plot a few months down the line this could be ok
The drop seems to be because of a large sum Dechra have put by as a contingency for a less than favourable brexit result, plus closing a business in Iran.

The price will bounce back, as investors buy back in after the fear subsides.

I bought into these a few weeks ago after seeing a write up - steady increase since, research I have done since makes this look a good long term hold - BUT why is there no discussion on the BB, surely there must be views on the BOD, development etc etc........BUT why dont you guys talk to each other???.

Yep,....some good news if you take a look at their website and click on 'regulatory news' you'll see they've announced a couple of marketing approvals...meaning money money money...hopefully!

Veterinary pharmaceutical company Dechra announced Thursday the appointment of Anne-Francoise Nesmes as Chief Financial Officer. Nesmes joins the company on April 22nd from GlaxoSmithKline where she has worked since 1997 in a number of finance roles including Senior Vice-President, Finance of Vaccines in Belgium. She has also held finance positions with John Crane, Tetra Pak, ADP and Caterpillar UK. The French national, who holds an MBA from Henley Management College and a Master in Management Sciences from Grenoble Business School, started her career in the UK before moving to Belgium, Sweden, and the US. She will relocate to the UK on taking up her position with the group
