I am trying to figure out what this means for us private investors the resolution in today's RNS is approved.
Am I right to think that we get subscription shares of equivalent value at the time of de-listing?
And am I also right to believe that we can trade those shares?
If not what happens to our shares?
Marc
Yes the shares can be traded but its very difficult to trade and match a price when it's off the main markets which this will be if/when the delisting happens.
Marc, you might want to consult your financial advisor or someone you trust who knows what they are talking about. Taking advice from forums probably isn't the best option. There are probably tax implications.....and it obviously depends on the amount invested.
Holding shares in a company that cannot be readily traded may not be for everyone. Personally I have no experience or advice to give. Best of luck.
Will they be able to delist though? I wonder if they have sufficient to get over the line on the required 75% or will they have to buy shares in the market to get there? Is this another MEAL scenario?
Again Bald Eagle is correct to be fair, as to give advice out, especially specific financial advice is not always best on anonymous chat boards.
Like all scenarios when they vote to delist they only need 75% of the votes actually cast to get it accepted.
The turn out at these meetings/pre voting is normally very low even though it's for something very serious being voted on. So the boards and their affiliates who will all vote FOR the vote to pass already have a large % of YES votes guaranteed.
MEAL is different and has risen so dramatically due to the fact that the RNS of Friday the 20th I believe the date was, stated that Dorren (CEO) who is involved with another company called Move Fresh will continue to purchase shares upto a 29.99% holding.
This was extremely strange they told us this but gave anyone (me included) who analysed the information in the RNS correctly a chance to buy in at below 2p and make a massive 200%+ profit.
The reason MEAL rose again Wednesday is because no TR1 forms have been released and so there is a possibility Move Fresh haven't even started purchasing yet and if they do the SP could rise further.
My honest opinion here is that DMTR is a different scenario and MEAL was unique.
BUT people like to trade shares, and gamble on AIM, even ones that are set to delist so it could well benefit from the MEAL and PCF effect.
PCF bank jumped from 0.42p to 0.96p in about 2 hours 2 days being announced it would wind down.
I've been involved in all 3 and that is just my views on the subject.
To finish I will warn the spread here and PCF can be upto 20% which makes it tough to trade where as MEAL is about 5% max and could be as as low as 1%
GLA and all the above is just my personal take on events and experiences.
Thank you Neil777, useful insight but definitely not taken as advice. I dipped in and out of MEAL and made some good profit but as I didn’t hold at the end of any day I didn’t make as much as I could have done and missed some of the big increases - too cautious! As for Deep I’ll keep an eye on this but the spread is wide and unattractive at the moment, especially for a cautious one like me
Wake
Profit is still profit though mate it's very hard to buy and sell at right times and I mess it up 99% of the time.
The spread now is about 8% but I've seem it as high as 22%.
It needs volume and constant buys to really rose.
A buy in of 0.0399p was available yesterday which would have been best time to buy but it didn't last long before it shot to 0.0449p

As I said Scumbags like Neil rely on these dogs, rule is simple take a position and then ramp the hell out of it to lure in private investors. Before delisting this company needs to raise 1.0 million and this company placed shares at 90% last year.As far as Neil is concerned he wants other to chuck in a few grands so that he can bail out. I dont think he will stay in until 19 December.
Read all my comments you little keyboard warrior on this share I didn't tell anyone to buy and when did I say I'd be here for the vote or I'd put more than 1200 in here.
Seriously going around anonymous chat boards like a little stalker trying to call stocks and shares because you have no money.
Sad little boy
Sham Please Neil’s replies to my postings last Friday. He’s hardly trying to lure me, his reply was balanced, fair and informative. On the MEAL chat site he went to lengths (with a lot of insults directed at him) to hold the rampers to account. I doubt many of us will still be holding DMTR shares by the 19th unless have decided to risk holding shares in a delisted company.
Much appreciated wakeyinvestor.
I bite to easily and I should just let the keyboard warriors be. They only feed off fools like me replying.
It winds me up when there is OTT ramping as much as deramping
MEAL got ridiculous with both sides typing the first thing that came into their head, obviously Magmanus_49 the main culprit.
I definitely got this one wrong as even with a spike they kept the spread so wide it was basically impossible to make money. The only time I saw it was if you had bought at 0.0399 and sold at 0.041p
Good luck with all future investments/trades.
MEAL is looking dead at the moment but if it drops to low 3s I can imagine another spike just before the GM.
I said what I needed to say, Neil took a position and then stated that he is expecting a "spike" and a "few grands worth of shares can make it move by 10% easily" to which I replied. He turned to personal insults and it was my turn to show him reality. He is a scumbag if he has invested £1200 and is expecting a "spike " then why not let the share price do talking and keep your gob shut. It is a bigger fool theory on display here, he has done well out of meal but down 40% here I dont think he holds any shares in dmtr now and has moved on to other pastures. If you are in for a punt say so , dont go ott ramping it to lure in private investors for your own gain and then go quiet.
Embarrassing yourself here Sham and even others are telling you.
He is a scumbag if he invested 1200£ on a share expecting a spike????
The most ridiculous statement ever, on any board I have read.
How does that make me a scum bag you tool. Millions do that every day on shares that have crashed or sometimes had a big rise expecting further growth.
I have gone for personal comments when you call me a scum bag.. ironic and moronic I see.
Anyway my history is all to see and my comments on this share were my own views and will continue to be on all shares I post, my own personal view.
As I've stated many times no one should invest or sell shares just as importantly on the views of an anonymous poster on an anonymous board.
Someone invests 1200 and then gives their own opinion on how they think it will perform is absolutely 100% natural and on this occasion as I've happily admitted I got it wrong.
Weird boy Sham for coming out with those comments today because an unbiased poster put you in your place and shows you for what you are.
Shame on you!!
I have absoluteoy no problem with someone investing £1200, however you are offended as I have exposed you and you could not "p&d" it.As I said I am 100% sure that you have sold your holding here and have move on to next pastures.
The only thing exposed was yourself and your jealousy.
You were called put by another poster who had clearly read our history.
lol as I said you need to give up this "pump and dump" game , in fact this very same share doomed the careers of some very well-known "p&d" merchants they were ramping it for 10% and BOD placed shares at whooping 90% discount.
I think you should give up posting rubbish that is neither true or factual.
My posting history here has like always been my own opinion and from my own experiences in the markets.
As proven its very hard to second guess them.
Luckily MEAL is giving me another big boost again today.
Anyway you're boring me now.
Collect a few weeks pocket money so you have 50 quid to invest then you can stop posting BS about other posters and actually try turning it into 60£
