I am a long term holder of these shares and I never saw the rns. The fall to 2p is now understood. I think it is a natural means to increase the companies footprint but it will be a number of years before we see the benefit. This is one reason I am trying to avoid aim.
Yes agreed still a little vague in certain areas but does give a little more info.
This was on the investor relations page on the website.
Best regards
Thanks Kevin.
No rns, nothing on their investor relations site so did a Google search - where did you pick this up from?
Still a lot of unanswered questions, even basics such as what proportion we get on conversion as a minority shareholder with no real power in the new venture, which is controlled by a distil dominant minority shareholder.
Hi Skid, have you read this?
https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5f525ed5c649457a86f37751/t/60f7d90204504a567ce7f743/1626855683503/Distil+RNS+July+2021.pdf
A lot of issues here.
Firstly the business case. We have no idea of the expected timing of returns, the shareholding we have in the venture, will this be used to supply distil etc. A pathetic couple of lines is not acceptable. This should go to shareholders to approval.
Second communication and integrity.
Assume the board has the right to issue shares ?
Why no rns?
Related party disclosure ?
Details of share subscription available to general shareholders ?
With all last companies without key institutional shareholders a dominant minority shareholder and board can start using the company to their own advantage, rather than shareholders as a whole.
We need detail here.
Seaviews, agree.
Where the #### is the rns, hence no comments !
I did post about Grain getting into this as a direct holding, now shareholders effectively subsidising this.
You're 100% correct, integrity is zero here. I'm out as well.
Big announcement today on the fundraising and investment in new distillery, so surprised no comments here. I've been in for 10 years and more, since the days of Bladvod, ups and downs and feel like this is a business with prospects. BUT once again new money is raised through a placement for "friends and family" no chance of participation for private investors and a big stock overhang from the freebie warrants issued at the same time. Unfortunately this is common with AIM stocks but it still stinks and that is sadly why I am now out. Good luck to all who stay.
As usual a little light on detail but the headline numbers are impressive.
With summer should see the new offerings hit their stride for an impressive q2 yoy growth.
Indeed another encouraging update!
Very happy with the update. Last end of year shows export sales nearly doubling and I don't see any reason why they might not double again given our experienced board members.

£7.2m, this guy has some serious ££
Seems some reasonable buying at last. This company is worth a lot more.....
What would be great if he buys some shares in the open market. Great cv and looks a great for to where distil are in their development
Appears, on paper, to be a very shrewd appointment!
Distil plc (AIM: DIS), is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Keiller as an independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 July 2021.
Strong CV.
Very well run and controlled company, results as expected.
Nice note that new products had a small impact and only in q4, really expect these to ramp very quickly for the half year numbers.
Any weakness in the share price I will be adding.
Good results continued growth. feel the SP wont really do much. but still think this is a great stock to hold.
Indeed so. Been in this for ages and it has shown steady long term growth. These results will cause me to continue told.
Very good.
Red Leg on the Fathers Day shelf at Morrisons. Very competitive price now too..
Fevertree numbers show the market is still very buoyant. With new products distil should outgrow the market significantly.
Nice to be a holder here, I was looking to sell but believe further growth lies ahead.
Jesk.
I think this is pretty clever and market segmentation. In still seen as a bit of middle class, middle aged drink which as you say is a very competitive market. Vodka seen as slightly more edgy younger persons drink.
Been here a few years now - through the ups and downs and at long last I can see a huge future
Ive always liked the Redleg and done my bit to help sales !!- but love the look of new Trove vodka
I actually think a 30% alcohol vodka is exactly what the market needs - not always about the alcohol content !
Less alcohol = less tax to be paid = more profit for Distil
May well add here again next week GLA
Trove botanical vodkas launched on Amazon on 10th May.

No. They must think the gin market is saturated, no pun intended. Hoping these drinks go down a storm this summer.
