Well i am amazed ! Reading today's RNS, i thought this is a very good deal and yet the sp goes down .It would be very interesting to see whether the other big II's vote for the deal ,as Schroders has. Any comments are most welcome.
There is every chance we could get a bid for the whole shebang, what's 165 million quid to the likes of BAE with an MC of 19.5 Billion. Thats just an example, hold onto your shares, average down if you can.
dgb have very small free float so need to be patient
No. There is no RNS.
Have any of you holders of DGB received a notice from your brokers re the change of name ? I did which i find very confusing as it would indicate that it is a done deal . The sp however has hardly moved ! Any opinion would be very much appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!
The people screening in real time is the niche product. DGB's technology is miles ahead of the game. By focusing all efforts, including Business/Marketing not just R&D, on this it can easily become mainstream. TSA and other governments using is one thing but once it penetrates into commercial application, whether perimeter security for a building or internal identification in confined places. This is potentially a share/company that could easily be x10 within 5 years.
in addition to the offer it ''would provide a robust balance sheet for the ongoing Thruvision business, with a likely return of excess funds to shareholders in due course''
ive bought in sp is cheap spread is narrow no brainer at this level great chance to gain high lucrative return short term
'Following a multi-staged and competitive process, the Board received a number of indicative offers from interested parties and is currently in advanced discussions with two parties to sell the Video Business (the "Potential Transaction") which is expected to CONCLUDE with one of those parties in the NEAR future. The quantum of the consideration being proposed in cash under either proposal is expected to be in EXCESS of the equity market capitalisation of the Group ''
At current values DGB paid circa 18p per share for Brimmtek alone They were trading in the high 40's low 50's in the months following the acquisition
the sp will spike up upwards big time if the board sells video business which is likely to happen reading the rns "The cash consideration being offered under both proposals is expected to be in excess of the current market capitalisation of the entire Group at close of business on 28 September 2017. " hence already the cash offer is in high premium
current mcap, sounds good to me, exceeds ;-)
Overall, we do not believe further major cost base investment is needed to drive the anticipated revenue growth. This, combined with the opportunity to either widen product gross margin through more efficient sourcing and manufacture or reduce product pricing to expand demand, should ensure Thruvision can be healthily and sustainably profitable.
The cash consideration being offered under both proposals is expected to be in excess of the current market capitalisation of the ENTIRE Group. Such proceeds, after repayment of existing indebtedness and transaction costs, would provide a robust balance sheet for the ongoing Thruvision business, with a likely return of excess funds to shareholders in due course.
Trump said Friday that the wall should be see-through, appearing to cast doubt on the concrete designs.
institutions and Tom Black as of 8th September 2017 https://www.digitalbarriers.com/investors/
Last Henderson holdings RNS was 8% if memory serves. Website puts them below 5 as of Sept 8th.
is that DGB is not a particularly liquid stock but at the moment the mm's are happy to take whatever's thrown at them so clearly they have a buyer
Thanks for allowing me to "post away", didn't realise you were promoted to team captain. I don't have personal issues with the management, they are patently very poor at executing whatever their strategy is, issuing new shares whenever they run out of cash. Institutions are I'm told holding 80% here so time for some new brooms to exploit this technology that is so highly thought of but has to be sold at a loss.
I am still trying to focus on the facts here. The sellers/buyers volume recently is more than 3 to 1 with very heavy volume today so far. How do we know that Henderson is the seller ? i cant see any RNS recently stating they have decreased their position !
PMSL. Post away! But don't take your personal 'issues' up with afrc or anyone else. Take it up with management directly.
I'm sure you'd like me to just go away but if you or anyone have a problem with my post you can report it if you want. Otherwise I will continue posting. If people don't want to hear it, they don't have to read it.
Take your personal 'issues' up with them (Management) then not the share holders on this bb, if you feel so strongly about it phone or email them. ;)
No other shares then, no unfounded posts. As for insulting the management, grow up. They are useless spendthrifts. I take it you've bought back in so ramp away. As for holders of DGB, blame the management not me.
