Even with the last two contract awards I'm sure he's going to continue to spout cash burn, directors salaries etc but this is a growth company which has invested heavily to develop unique, world class technology and that investment is starting to reap rewards leading institutions own the majority here and I suspect that a takeover in the not too distant future may be on the cards - I'm going to sit back and enjoy the ride
Yes - the need to raise the offer to get some movement - the SP is too low to tempt any sellers - this should be at 60p for starters before we start getting further contract wins.
Looks like the mms may be about to let this go
£20K at 28p was around 71,500 Shares - Sorry.
Kiwi - I'm with HL - I've called a few times but get the standard 'up to 4 days' transfer request but they have noted my disappointment as 'Feedback'. - Not Very Impressed. The 80K isn't mine - Ive requested £20K which at the current price is around 56000 Shares.
I use Share centre and yesterday I phoned up to transfer some shares to the ISA. It was completed in just a couple of hours. (Admittedly, not DGB and now I'm thinking I've got the wrong ones in the shelter of an ISA!)
270k in first hour! Looking good for 2 million plus to change hands today.
Is the 80,000 sale at 08.55 the sale part of your bed & ISA - the amounts match the new limit
Mozax, just call them mate and they should sort it for you asap. That is a very unacceptable time frame, who is your broker?
I put my request in on Monday so I'm not pleased - This has the potential to move very quickly with such little free float. With a few more buys (The SP is so low very few will be selling) this will promptly be in the 30's and I hate Crystallising a gain in my TA just to shift across into my ISA - it's the sort of day where I'm hoping we don't get many more buyers!!
I've got one Bed & ISA request pending for 35939 shares
Plus with global tensions such as they are creates a greater need for Digital Barriers and their products
The II's hold nearer 90% after recent additions by my calcs. 2017/18 will see significant change here IMO, with all the acquisitions, IP, proving of technology etc etc - contract after contract - watch this space.
DGB winning contracts. This share price is way too low!!! Is is because 80% of the shares are taken by II's?
My Bed & Isa hasn't gone through yet!
G4S to market and sell ThruVis solutions across 19 countries in continental Europe Digital Barriers (AIM: DGB), the specialist provider of visually intelligent solutions to the global surveillance, security and safety markets, is pleased to announce that it has secured a framework contract with G4S, one of the world's largest security companies, for its ThruVis people screening technology. This framework contract, one of several that were in the final stages of negotiation at the time of the Group's trading update on 24 March, will see G4S market, sell and support ThruVis throughout their operations in continental Europe, covering nineteen different countries. There is also the potential to include other technologies from the Group.
:)
In the foundations. Happy to stay quiet & low for a while, Bed & Isa's take up to 4 days and I'd prefer to Crystallise a loss to set against future gains on my trading account. Once a further £20K of DGB is shifted across into the ISA then the contracts can come thick & fast.
to add as the steps to growth continue .....£14 mill + to be signed up in coming weeks, as they say, transformational year ahead for DGB ;)

Kiwi, is it lose loads of money? Margin averaged since 2011 is minus 70%. in other words they do £170 of sales and lose £70 pounds on the deal. Directors lifestyle business, please make a donation and give generously. Best not phone the boss, you know what he'll say. Like asking a barber if you need a haircut.
Maximal Security, Without The Weakness of Long Lines Apr 4, 2017 A new security solution for public safety in crowded spaces and airports presents a rapid screening rate. Digital Barriers, a company specializing in provision of visually intelligent solutions to the global surveillance, security and safety sectors announced recently that its ThruVis public safety solution has successfully achieved a screening rate of up to 1,000 people per hour at peak times, a number estimated to be more than five times than traditional security lanes. The development aims to deliver performance, flexibility and high quality. According to the company’s press release, the system is unique since unlike existing technology, it detects all types of items concealed in clothing, including non-metallics like explosives and ceramic knives, at stand-off distances of up to 10m. it is operationally ready for use, as confirmed by the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) who have already conducted successful deployments in preparation for a wider rollout. The unsurpassed screening rate of up to 1,000 people per hour comes at the same time as ThruVis has again achieved a 100% detection rate in blind trials with government agencies in Asia Pacific, who continue to plan wide scale deployments of the capability over the coming years. In aviation, ThruVis delivers the potential to materially enhance the screening of passengers in expedited security lanes and of staff using employee security channels. In the public safety market it provides an additional layer of security for mass transit terminals and crowded public spaces that have been the subject of recent attacks. ThruVis can also now be deployed alongside the company’s SmartVis Face solution, to raise immediate alarms when concealed threats or people who may present a security risk enter protected locations. SmartVis Face has been designed to deliver high-throughput, standoff screening against known watch lists, and it was also successfully showcased at the UK Government Security & Policing event to government security and defence delegations from around the world. htTp://i-hls.com/archives/75865 iHLS is an enterprise dealing with Israeli Homeland Security (HLS).
You'll be educating the uninitiated until you're Blue in the Face. Crikey - I've been totting these up in My Isa, My Wife's Isa and my Trading account. I've got alot for a wee PI, and look forward to the next 18 months here.
I'm not having a go at you, I'm trying to give you a very important tip when researching any company on the stock exchange. There is something very important that you do not understand and fail to realise when you conduct research so here is a question just for you and you will learn a lot from this. What is the difference between a major shareholding of an Institutional Investor / Hedge Fund / Pension Fund and that of a major nominee shareholding? When you understand this it will greatly help you understand the importance and significance of proper shareholder analysis.
