Sambailey100- Are you sure you are not talking about Imaginatik (IMTK)?
Yeah it was his own company he sold them too tho from what I remember
Hasn't he bought them from himself tho if you look back at November RNS looks like a tidy up to me but i could be wrong
Well, I don't expect that kind of RNS! Interesting!
fair enough. good luck.
why do you think?
no, i don't think it was deliberate on their part. i think DAN would have preferred to remain listed. there could be a wide range of reasons why nomads don't want to work with them. probably these include significant reputational concerns. nomads don't want to be tainted by association where something's rotting.
there's always an upside. the second major world pandemic may have exterminated about 40-50% of the English population in the 13th century, but on the plus side, it did substantially undermine the previous patterns of feudal control over the means of production, e.g. introducing significant new labour market mobility. on a 100-200 year view, the black death actually went quite well economically. so maybe it's actually good news for DAN in the long run that it's failed to publish its audited accounts, failed to finalise the placing that it kept saying was coming 'shortly', and is about to be delisted from AIM with no mechanism yet in place to allow shareholders to trade at decent prices? all this may yet attract multiple new clients to its glowing reputation.
But conversely if a company is in trouble, why can't it raise finance and release it's accounts on time? Delisting is always a disaster for common shareholders. No if's or buts, it is ALWAYS a complete nightmare to trade (which you pretty much won't be able to) and the costs/spread and price will hinder you as well. I am honestly not trolling/deramping here (the share price is frozed/finished so how can I!). Just usually when a share is delisted, it's a nightmare. I think CWO is putting his/her hand in the sand and has been completely duped by the likes of Robert Terry et al.
The price will not "inevitably" be much lower though will it? On what basis can you back that statement up?
I dont think that theres really any other option with the likes of SC around taking out significant short positions and daily flogging by bloggers and tipsters its not really a fair and balanced arena for DAN to develop and grow. What I would say is that a move to new offices, with new board members and significant investment from multiple HNW investors isnt really the actions of a company thats in trouble.
admin has deleted a post of mine in which i noted that there are already several posts back in early november on this bulletin bb which comment re RT's DAN share sale price.
the fisherman has been posting disparaging comments here also. Bless.
Ruga if you were a regular on the Blueshare Dan thread you would know that the discussion has been moved to a 'private area' which is only accessible to those who have proved they are genuine shareholders in the company. Anyone who falls into that category can go over to Blueshare and pm Steamy and ask to be admitted. I think there are 60 plus of us in the group currently.
I've been over to blueshare but can't find any discussion about DAN, list of all their RNS's but no chat, has anyone found the same..? Happy to hear all views on where this will go from here, main thing is my money in here likely lost.? Got to be honest I have far more than I'm happy losing invested here...
an RNS was released on Friday at 5:29pm.
on a friday.
Perhaps you could tweet QPE and ask them ?
Simple answer I don't know . I get the impression that the resignation of the Nomad was unexpected and sudden and the timing just before the Christmas break didn't help at all . I know QPE would like to see Dan off AIM from the tweets they have made but personally I would rather a new Nomad was found and they stayed on AIM (for purely selfish reasons)
I believe that they have until the 21st of this month to appoint a new Nomad . What concerns me the most is that my shares are held in an ISA and if Dan is delisted I will be forced under HMRC rules to remove these shares from my ISA into either a normal trading account or convert to paper certificate thus losing out financially both in the short term and long term if the shares subsequently turn a profit
i don't think you will be getting many replies from the holders here, because the lack of information from the management here about the company's position, plans and prospects makes it very difficult for anyone to see how they are intending to dig themselves out of the current hole. maybe they will get lucky and a nomad will turn up in the next few days in time to stop delisting, and the firm will finally manage to complete that placing it mentioned months ago, and then it can start revealing all the new client deals that will justify the fancy new offices. after all, anything is possible in a quantum universe.
RT will have to get approval from the FCA whether or not it is removed from AIM. He would be classed as a controller with anything above 20% which requires the necessary approval forms to be sent to the FCA and authorised.
I don't know why the NOMAD resigned.
goodluckall "I would say it will be up and running before the end of the month but that's if they wish to stay on AIM. The loss of the nomad may have been deliberate and they may have planned to come off AIM so RT can buy 30% of the company which is what he has said he wants to do" RT would have to be FCA to own more than 10% of DAN, because it is a FCA regulated firm. That applies whether DAN is on AIM, the main market or private. The NOMAD did not prevent RT from going over 10%. It simply reserved the right to resign, if anyone was allowed to go over 10% without its approval.
i am not an expert on the FCA, but so far as i understand it, the FCA does not only regulate market listed companies .... they say they regulate about 70,000 UK companies at the moment. the key point is whether they are financial services companies. may be wrong, but that's my understanding.
