I am surprised that you have not aired your views on yesterday's Sky news article (post from Ledsparky). Something there to be possibly positive about?

masterinvestors don't be bloody stupid mate, depends what price raising is set at,i agree if your a holder at 150p or less your good, if your in under 120 even better, but sadly our brothers and sister investors above 2 quid 3 quid are in for a long run. disagree with your existing shareholders to virtually nothing theory mate
Will dilute existing shareholders to virtually nothing .Good for new investors coming on board
Sky disclosure. Would be a standard in a situation such as this (PWC involvement). You and I would do the same - would you not? If this has credibilty and is soundly based then wow - survival. Can't see cheap sellers - so watch tomorrow.
Guess the above may be a bit like the divi - wait and see - sacrificed for the greater good of the many!

A spokesperson for AB InBev said: "As a supplier to Conviviality for many years, we have always had a strong and reliable business relationship with the company and look forward to working with them in the future. "We understand Conviviality is undertaking an extensive City roadshow as part of an equity fundraising and we trust shareholders will be supportive of the business as they work to resolve the situation." Tim Martin, chairman of JD Wetherspoon, has also spoken out, saying that he hopes Conviviality can pull through. The two companies have been trading for more than 20 years. they will support why wont they its in everybodys intrests, this as now become a recovery type play, get involved at this low price, give it couple of years and who will say damn should have bought more. I think the BOD and DIRECTORS SENIOR MANG, HAVE LEARNT A VALUABLE LESSON..

JL 5006 -the answer to your question is whoever has a vested interest, ie the builder , the guy who sold him the bricks, the brickie he can't pay unless he gets the money ,the landowner the house is built on who the builder owes half the house cost to, the builders bank who he owes 500 to..........No company collapses without taking down , or severely harming, their customers, their suppliers, their landlords, their shareholders.......all of whom have an interest in preventing the chaos that ensues and who would prefer to avoid it.
Simple example perhaps. You want to buy a house for 100. Bank says yes for 50. Who is going to lend you the other 50? Not the local credit union. Bank has valued at 50. Residual RI is a no no
