A lot can change in 12 months , I think there will be a few more days of holders exiting , then a gradual rise to around 0.30 HK for some consolidation.Time will tell though if the company can deliver real value for shareholders. GL all LTHs
So, we've been back listed for a whole day..........and I'm going to ask it............what is a fair guess for the share price over the next 12 months?
I have no expectations, but if I remember rightly were we around 8p a share when we transfer to the HKSE? Could we see this again or even more?
All views welcome

I think the very angry mob exited this morning. as i am sure many here would have done or liked to do. It will churn over the coming weeks but we are now at a $14m valuation. we practically generated this in the 2021 accounts as profit. We are trading at a negative valuation but the market is the market today and CNEL best plan now is to throw $3m at a share buy back. T. If CNEL can sign those delayed contracts then revenues and profits should balloon but of course we will be the last to know and have to wait for cryptic updates in half yearly reports to guess who the client was and whether any of our latest technology is getting any traction.
I still see it going down more before it returns. News will help along with good regular communication as trust needs to be built. When the employees or Directors start buying, I may invest some more.
A small crumb of comfort in that GBP is down a whopping 19.2% against HKD since suspension.
OK lets all just buy a little and see where it takes us, after all we are now trading again! i think only way will be up but just might take awhile because of the way everything is in the world at the moment...your thoughts? please everyone :)
Wonder if they are going to buy up some cheap share, it would certainly give an indication of where we are heading.
Just got to be happy back trading, now everyone has options.
Frankly its held up well given everything that has happened and 18 months of pent up anger to exit together with the market collapse. As expected Cnel management have done nothing to help prepare a better return to the market. I thought it would open lower. We are down to £11m market cap and we have £25m of cumulative profits so once the rout is out of the way and management do their job and share information with investors we might turn a corner but its going to be a long wait i suspect
50% down. The only way is up from here surely.
Deep down I've always had my investment in this company earmarked for something else so I'm very pleased to be back on the HKSE, but I'm also secretly optimistic that it might actually have a future beyond my initial get out price. The only question I have is how on earth have the two at the top got away with this. Forget how many shares they own, how can the market allow them to still be in power.
Maybe best forward guidance of a sort from the document
“ the Company is confident in its business outlook and believes that the decline in revenue and profit of the Group is only temporary considering the poor market environment which has an expected downturn for one to two years. The Company’s emphasis on advanced research and development of clean energy production technology provides optimistic and stable business prospects.”

Interesting reading for holders. Lets hope the 2 at the top have learnt their lesson.
"Trading in shares in the Company was suspended from 9:00 a.m. on 1 April 2021 at the
request of the Company. As all the Resumption Conditions set out in the Resumption
Guidance have been fulfilled, the Company has made an application to the Stock Exchange
for the resumption of trading in the Company’s shares with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 13
October 2022."
While its only a rumour we might have progress and an update imminently. We will have to wait and see but if so i really hope Cnel make their life a little easier and release some news on all manner of things that might help if as investors need reassurance on the future and why cnel are not gaining traction elsewhere as they are supposed to have industry leading technology in gen 2 etc. Lets hold off the relief until we get an update.
What a bore this all is, and a disgrace. I am a shareholder and I feel it is not unreasonable for me to know if I have lost all my money or not. Simple as that.
Apparently still with lawyers according to RB last week and still shows as suspended on hkex. it just depends if technically they have satisfied conditions as they did all steps and although it was a carcrash and a total shambles while they were not exactly 100% cleared of wrongdoing there was also no proof they had so logically innocent until proven guilty. We will see as if they get delisted where can they go? Not sure their CV is going to help and holding a private stake in a Chinese company is not exactly solid. they must have plenty of pressure from investors in IPO who were properly done up like a kipper and all UK investors took months to get their shares listed. I still cannot believe CNEL enabled double river to dump their entire holding on day 1 when almost no one else could trade, except buyers. Really hkex had a part to play in the fall out and cnel have not recovered. so much potential but they just need new board members who can keep an eye on the duo who run the show.
Does any have any updates from RB or Ivy? Can't see no news for any update since friday, e.g. this is definitely not resuming trading etc
always will be continuing and yes there will be an update next week. Without a doubt..
Just pinged Richard who answered in 2 minutes that talks are continuing and there will be another update next week ????
Taking it to the wire. Why? 18 months and at least 12 months wasted faffing. Not sure if AIM would have them back if they delisted but hopefully we do not go there as 18 months is a lomg time.

Update released but basically no news as they are waiting for the HKEX to agree if trading can resume.
And we've heard nothing about re-listing. Not good and not sure where we'll be going from here. Maybe we've lost our money here?!
so, this CNEL stock is a dead fish? no communication, nothing, this is so wrong, so many shareholders and a company thats still running and making profits... nothing we can do?
(If it ever did)
That should surely be the final technical hurdle to relisting so it looks that CNEL have done everything required. I am sure Hkex will be pushing for improved transparency and more investor engagement but i am sure these matters will not hold up proceedings. Hopefully next week we will at least get a resumption of trading in place for a certain date. Obviously so much more is needed from board to make amends and so far i have not really seen the board do more than technically required. If Hkex has blocked the chairman and CEO from their shady friends business relationships this at least might force them to take cash out the front door with everyone else as dividends. While first half has not been great, but understood due to China lockdown its really the second half that should be stellar and close all projects delayed. Lets get CNEL relisted and then expect considerably better second half of the year
