All hail zstarz lol
Lol I've seen a few of those articles too, there is definitely a softening of tone but they can't seem to get over their lost opportunities.
Thank you M00la....appreciated ...
I definitely expect them to announce reopening plans with the results.
Thanks everyone, it's good to know i'm on a similar wave length to most of you. Sometimes it's just nice to get some others perspectives to make sure i'm not too close to a single stock.
I think Mooky will show the losses in the second half of the year were less than the first half. The large loss stemmed from updating the cinemas and putting in screens with moving seats, smoke and smell effects. Second half will be reducing cash flow out the door. They have done enough to get tax rebates for the next few years. I expect the SP to jump on better than expected losses. IMO
I agree with zstarz. We've seen many instances this year and last of positive swings, despite the results. To me, it would be ridiculous to have such a negative impact given we have been closed for so long. If anything, it's the perfect opportunity to surprise us with future plans to balance things. The past is the past and we all know what has happened. The future is what's important on results day imo
25th of March
https://www.cineworldplc.com/en/investors/financial-calendar
On the financial calendar preliminary announcement of full year results is 25 March 2021
Do we have a date or idea when the results are being published? I.e beginning, middle end of March....I'm assuming there's a timetable somewhere...
I would like to think Mooky would come out with an impressive forward looking statement with the results. It's in his own interest to do so.
We’ll see a false drop and shake imo, 10% or so and recover
Honest question, what impact do we think the results will have on the sp in March? I'd like to assume it will be negligible because as others have said before me it's already known that we haven't been trading so there shouldn't be any nasty surprises. Also they may likely announce reopening plans around to the same time to help balance things out.
